I had seen this place last year heading to Sequoia National Park. I hoped to stop by on the way out, but ran of time. As I was passing the restaurant I saw that the parking lot (small section) was full. I made a note to visit when I was back in the area. This was the time. After a weekend of volunteering in the SNP with Sister Corps I treated my friend and I to breakfast. How this works. You line up and order your food. When we arrived the line was out the door. You can take your food to go or enjoy your meal indoor or out in the back patio. My order was an iced coffee, a watermelon, cucumber, & mint refresher (to go), and Belgian Waffle with mixed fruit. My friend ordered their hot brewed coffee and a Breakfast Croissant. We both enjoyed our meals and drink(s). We opted to sit indoors as it was still hot outside even if under the covered patio. I loved my waffles. I'm a dessert gal and the waffles had sweet and crispy edges! Never had anything like it and I gobbled that up like it was candy! The indoor seating was still warm because of the heat probably radiating through the windows. There is a decent amount of indoor seating and plenty of covered outdoor seating. Parking is an issue or problem. My friend parked somewhat behind me and partly in an open space. We're hoping she wouldn't get ticketed. So enter or exit the area with caution. This is the main road to and from Sequoia National Park. Vehicles are driving at a good speed. Staff had excellent customer service. Welcomed with a smile and served with a smile! The restaurant carries a line of merchandise. I purchased a couple of magnets with their logo. I will definitely return next year when I do volunteer time at Sequoia National Park. read more

Stopped in here after wrapping up a camping trip in Sequoia National Park. After packing up camp on a hot morning, I had worked up quite an appetite. I ordered the JT Club from their small sandwich selection, though it's clear this is more of a coffee shop than a sandwich spot. The sandwich was well made, with generous portions of turkey and ham, fresh veggies, and cheese. I would have preferred a little more mustard and mayo, but what was there was enough to complement the ingredients. The ordering process is simple: order at the counter, grab a number, and have a seat while they prepare your food. We sat in the back patio area with picnic tables and misters, which made for a relaxing place to eat. The view of the river and the sound of the flowing water were definitely the highlight of the visit. The staff was friendly, and my food came out quickly. Overall, it was a pleasant stop with a good sandwich and a peaceful atmosphere. Nothing particularly memorable, but a solid place to grab a bite if you're in the area. read more

Sequoia Coffee and Kitchen is a total gem! We came here two mornings in a row and had a great experience each time. First off, the space was adorable. Everything about the interior was cute - the green checkerboard floors, flower lighting fixtures, embroidery wall art, etc. The also had the cutest merch! I couldn't resist buying a keychain and sticker, and my friend got a hat. For drinks, I chose the Queen Bee Latte with an extra shot of espresso, which was delicious and got the job done. The first day, I ordered the Avocado Toast. The portion size was super generous, and I ended up only eating half. My friends' breakfast burritos were also enormous! All the food items were excellent, including the Lemon Pistachio Croissant. The second morning, I went with the Sky Bowl, which was arguably even better than the toast. The portion size was perfect and the flavors went together so well. Service was friendly and quick. Would recommend showing up early to beat the rush! read more

What a beautiful coffee and breakfast spot! Even though it was a Saturday morning and they were busy, the line moved quickly and service was great. All the employees were cheerful and kind. We ordered an iced latte, watermelon refresher, and mocha frappes to drink, and the biscuits and gravy and the mean green breakfast bagel to eat. All were delicious!! We took a drive once again to this coffee place just because its that good!!! Worth the 1 hour drive for the Frappuccino Mocha flavor coffee , not too sweet. And breakfast bagel sandwiches are very good and loaded!! Their service is awesome , they have a very beautiful outdoor seating area that is very spacious , and a beautiful river flowing just steps away !! They bring your food out to you. The interior space is a bit small but cute setup. The outdoor space is just my preference!! Its in the way to going up to the Sequioa national park and plenty other things in the area. read more

Cutest Cafe with the most adorable vibe and decor. Loved every single item that I saw on the menu from drinks to foods. I wish we were staying in the area longer but we're only able to stop by twice. I ordered a dot cake latte along with the mean green breakfast sandwich and the breakfast croissant the first day. The second day I ordered the coconut cloud drink and the mountain bowl with bacon and a couple of muffins. Everything was delicious. The person who took my order was very nice and friendly. We stopped by here for breakfast before heading up to the national park. Parking was limited but we got lucky and snagged a spot in front of the cafe. I want to say that there are maybe 4-5 parking spots in front of the cafe but I'm not 100% sure. The best part about this spot is the view and atmosphere. There is a patio area and plenty of seats outside with a gorgeous view of the river! A really nice place to start the day off. I really wanted to like the food/drink but I was disappointed. The matcha was especially disappointing-it tasted very milky and bland. I had to throw it out. The avocado toast was okay but the pieces of avocado stuck together and tasted slightly unripe. I will say that this spot gets very busy and there was quite the line to order here. We waited for about 20 minutes to order. I am sure all the workers are working hard getting everyone's orders ready. I wonder if this may have impacted the quality of the matcha especially. Despite how busy the place was, we got our food/drinks fairly quickly and all the workers we interacted with were very kind. Overall, I would be open to trying something else on the menu and returning because of the ambiance. However, I would be a bit hesitant to return considering the parking situation and just how busy it gets. read more

I was here for the weekend of 9/10 - 9/13. Got to try this coffee shop on my very last day before going back home. Their fall menu is a must try! I got the oatmeal cream pie iced latte and it was so good! I also ordered biscuits and gravy and that was probably the best I've had! All the workers were very helpful and actually went above and beyond with their service. My friend's phone slipped out of his pocket and during our drive back home (roughly 3 hours in) we realized that my friend left his phone behind. We called his phone constantly and a random customer handed my friend's phone to a worker and they answered and helped us get the phone back! The worker took it upon herself to mail out my friend's phone! I will update when I get her name but thank you so much for helping out a stranger when you really didn't have to! May all the blessings you wish for bestow upon you! also, the coffee shop interior was a VIBE! Stopped here before going inside Sequoia NP. Place is welcoming and employees were nice. We came from the Los Angeles area so it was a far drive. We had their Breakfast Burritos, Mean Green Sandwich and a Sunrise Bowl. Food was good! My only issue was the fly's were everywhere! There's a sign to keep the doors closed but I don't think it does anything. Maybe they should get those fly fans both for inside and out. Other than that, I would go back here again. They have outdoor seating that has a view of the river but it was too hot outside. read more

Well worth the stop and the wait in line for this coffee and kitchen spot. Parking can be a little tricky as it is only available on the side of the road but stay patient and a spot will open up. The line can be long but again wait because it goes by fast and the views are well worth it. They have pastries, burgers with fries, waffles, bagel with veggie sandwich, coffee (hot and cold), donuts, muffins. We enjoyed the blueberry muffin, a side of fries, vegetarian bagel, and waffle which were all delicious. You can walk down to see the view but they have plenty of seating outside and some inside as well. Staff was friendly and patient. read more

My husband had the Mountain bowl which was a huge quantity and tasted very good. Coffee was very good too. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice view of the Kuweah River. Service was pretty fast. Get here early on weekends, because the place is bustling with tourists and locals alike. Seating is available inside for dine-in, and there is a patio outdoors for dine-in or takeout pick-up. Their coffee is very yummy, and while I have not yet had a chance to try their lunch menu, I had a special veggie schmear on an everything bagel, and it was delicious!
