The place is nicely decorated with Bollywood theme with games you can play with family or friends. The staff can be a hit and miss. I have experienced the staff being very friendly sometimes, and others not at all. However, every time I have went in, it was never busy. As per the food, I had their chai (karak chai, masala chai and Kashmiri chai.) I didn't care about any of them. They were extremely sweet for my taste. I had their pani puri and the puris seemed stale. Also, I have had their samosas and they were just ok. Every time we placed an order, it took a minimum of 20 minutes to get our food. However, they do cater food and will display and serve the food at a party. And they do a phenomenal job on the decoration to display the food. I highly recommend them just for the decoration, not sure about the food though.

They were crispy on the outside, super light, and was complimented with the delicious chocolate sauce. I will be coming back soon to try their other sauces and desserts. I was surprised by the amount of food they have (chicken and waffles!) so I'll try something else next time. There was plenty of indoor seating and the vibes were relaxed and welcoming.

I couldn't believe getting there 5 minutes after open at 8am on a Saturday that there would be a line out the door, but I can absolutely see why. I also got a caramel iced latte, which was also quite good first thing in the morning. The service was fast and friendly as they kept the line moving and getting everyone their food. I think I waited all of 5 minutes or so once my order was in. Their interior space is also cozy and friendly with lots of wood tones too. All in all, a really great place to stop and get a couple treats!

It was refreshing with a variety of fruits, sweet red bean, little rice cakes, and vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. They also have a plethora of freshly baked Korean style cakes and breads ranging from soboru (my personal favorite ) to red bean buns and fried donuts. Would love to see if they can do a red bean filled soboru bun! I was surprised by how good the fried donut was - super soft and filled with sweet red bean inside. If you're a chestnut lover, I also recommend the chestnut soboru bun. It had chunks of chestnuts inside and was not too sweet. If you're a savory person or need a meal, they also serve ramen There are plenty of seats inside and the interior has such a classic, homey feel to it. They even have traditional Korean style seating! The workers are also very sweet and friendly. Definitely a place I would go back whenever the sweets craving hits!

I especially enjoyed the illusion of privacy offered by the dividing screens at the traditional seating area. I am apt to take off my shoes in public regardless of the occassion, but the sunken tables allowed me to unleash the dawgs in a more socially acceptable manner. Note that Tea Zone no longer offers as wide a variety of savory foods. In fact, they only serve ramen. But their bakery section is still robust! I'm not honestly the biggest fan of most fruit cakes but I had an uncontrollable craving. As far as store-bought fruit cakes go, it was not bad. As always, I wish the cake part had more depth of flavor than just ~vanilla~, but as a whole, the cake was quite soft and generously topped with an assortment of fruit! The servers were very sweet (haha) and offered to make my iced matcha latte unsweetened but I was like, no, I need the high. Because I sure as hell am not high on life. Not a direct quote

Personally, my main reason for returning is their Asiago bagel; it's the best I've had! During my first visit I found the service to fall a bit flat with the cashier seeming a bit annoyed but I decided to give them another go and I'm glad I did. My second visit was much better and the staff seemed happy to serve customers. Seating is a bit limited indoors but they have a closed off outdoor seating area that I believe is heated. There are a decent amount of outlets and extension cords around so it's a good place to study. They also have a few board games at the front you can borrow to play with your friends. Their seasonal drinks are pretty neat; that's what actually caught my eye when searching for local cafes. My fiancé is an espresso lover, so we had to go once I told him about the Black Widow shaken espresso. I ordered an iced matcha latte. Because I opted for the iced version, it had to be a 16oz size. Not a bad thing, but keep that in mind if you want a smaller option. The cafe was pretty busy when we went, hi but it took maybe 5-10 minutes to get our drinks. I really enjoyed mine! Sometimes I want a simple, plain matcha and it was just that - in a good way. Lol. Not overly sweet. The outside seating area is nice, especially on Saturdays when you can enjoy your drinks while the farmers market takes place. I had no idea they had a dedicated space for singers to perform. I imagine it gets quite busy in the summer evenings! Prices were fair and I'd return to try out their food items.

Unfortunately, I ordered online or else I would have absolutely bought half of what was in the display case. It all looks amaaaazing! The place was certainly cozy inside with some seating in front and along the side walls and the cashier there was quite pleasant. The chicken shawarma itself was pretty good. Good flavor, though a little bit messy after the first few bites when the juices start leaking out all over the place. It certainly leaved a lot to be desired just tossed into a styrofoam box without being in a wrap or something like shawarma oftentimes comes in. The spicy sauce on the side was also quite good but kind of overpowered the shawarma itself. It also came with a side of Lay's salt and vinegar chips. Really not a fan of said chips and seems like an opportunity to maybe do something more in line with the cuisine to me. Overall, the food was solid but not necessarily mind-blowing from an appearance or functionality perspective. I'd definitely love to come back to get some of those desserts some other time though!
