Their seasonal drinks are pretty neat; that's what actually caught my eye when searching for local cafes. My fiancé is an espresso lover, so we had to go once I told him about the Black Widow shaken espresso. I ordered an iced matcha latte. Because I opted for the iced version, it had to be a 16oz size. Not a bad thing, but keep that in mind if you want a smaller option. The cafe was pretty busy when we went, hi but it took maybe 5-10 minutes to get our drinks. I really enjoyed mine! Sometimes I want a simple, plain matcha and it was just that - in a good way. Lol. Not overly sweet. The outside seating area is nice, especially on Saturdays when you can enjoy your drinks while the farmers market takes place. I had no idea they had a dedicated space for singers to perform. I imagine it gets quite busy in the summer evenings! Prices were fair and I'd return to try out their food items.

The menu had a general selection of coffee drinks and some bakery treats on display. I got the coffee cake (I think) and an Iced White Mocha Latte. I thought the latte helped me stay awake for the 3.5 hour drive I had ahead of me. The cake was tasty and still moist. I also tried their blueberry or cranberry cupcake and that was tasty as well. The staff members were very polite and helped in giving suggestions on what drinks to get. I didn't notice until I went inside that they also have a drive thru. Either way, coming inside was a better option for me to stretch my legs. If I pass by Columbus again, I'll stop by Crimson to try another drink and bakery treat.

He made the drink with quite some expertise using the traditional methods of whisking in a bowl. I added a touch of pistachio syrup just to make it a bit different for the ride. Tasting it was NOT a disappoint....it was DELICIOUS. The place had a lot of indoor seating and it is very bohemia-ish in the decor. They appear to really connect with the local community in their agenda as well. There were different programs you could be a part of. All around excellent....there is a lot a few food items to pick from but I dod not try any of those this time around. I would definitely return.

Situated in a cue lil food court next to Dayou, Mr Tea thrives on me being too lazy to go somewhere else to get a sweet treat when I'm like knees deep in spicy noods. Very refreshing! However, my second encounter with a tea-forward drink was more disappointing. I decided to give the osmanthus latte a try but it tasted quite watered down, almost like they maybe use milk instead of a creamer? The osmanthus flavor was also not strong enough. Overall, a decent place to grab fruity boba if you are in the vicinity but it wouldn't be my first choice if you are looking for tea.

Note that Tea Zone no longer offers as wide a variety of savory foods. In fact, they only serve ramen. But their bakery section is still robust! I'm not honestly the biggest fan of most fruit cakes but I had an uncontrollable craving. As far as store-bought fruit cakes go, it was not bad.
