What was frustrating was that people who ordered after me HEATED pastries had already gotten their orders yet I hadn't received mines that just needed to be bagged? I kindly told the cashier I was still waiting for my scones and I could tell she had clearly forgotten about them. She shortly gave them to me with no apology for the delay or anything. We got the moonbird and the seasonal key lime pie matcha with oat milk which were both amazing! The key lime whip had a pleasant tanginess that complimented the rest of the drink well. The moonbird was a solid matcha latte with fresh mint on top that they grow themselves. After trying our drinks, I knew we had to go right back for more! I also got the other seasonal drink (the cure) but got it with matcha instead of cold brew. The cream top had a light and fruity taste (fresh peach, cardamom, vanilla bean) which was nice. Yesterday, we opted for items from their core menu, the Mystic Rhythm and the White Witch. The Mystic Rhythm is a delicious salted brown sugar latte, and it had the perfect sweetness and balance. My husband got the White Witch and he really enjoyed his drink. Somehow, there were no customers when we arrived yesterday and our drinks came out super fast! MATCHA DRINKS -- The price is fair as Matcha will be expensive at most places. I ordered the Einspanner Matcha Latte ($7.50) which has vanilla cream top, matcha, and milk. By the way, Einspanner is a German word that means vanilla or vanilla cream. I choose oat milk in my drink which is an extra 0.75 cents. So, I paid a little over $8 with tax for my drink. Tipping is optional. The Einspanner Matcha Latte is great - it isn't too sweet at all. I was worried that the drink would be too sweet but it was perfect especially with ice on a warm day. MATCHA TYPES -- There are various types of Matcha to choose from. They offer traditional Matcha with just water ($5.50), a classic Strawberry Matcha Latte ($7.50), a Lavender Matcha Latte ($7.50), regular Matcha latte ($7.00) which is Matcha with milk, Matcha Lemonade ($6.75), etc. The quality of their ceremonial grade matcha is good and it is sourced straight from Japan. They have 2 different cup sizes that you can choose from and both are the same price. I choose the bigger cup which is 8oz, I think. COFFEE -- Besides Matcha, they also offer a few coffee drinks for purchase such as a salted honey latte, a cinnamon maple latte, etc SERVICE -- Customer service was quick and efficient. There were 3 ladies working behind the counter and they worked fast. AMBIANCE -- Simple layout yet cute. The cafe itself is very small so it is more of a grab and go cafe. It was a beautiful day so we took a walk outside towards OSU's campus with our drinks in hand. They sell some merchandise with a 'Matcha Me' logo on them (sweaters and hats).
