This is a tiny cafe, but has a decent variety of drinks! They state to ask them to make any drink, even if it's not listed on the menu. Their seasonal drinks are pretty neat; that's what actually caught my eye when searching for local cafes. My fiancé is an espresso lover, so we had to go once I told him about the Black Widow shaken espresso. I ordered an iced matcha latte. Because I opted for the iced version, it had to be a 16oz size. Not a bad thing, but keep that in mind if you want a smaller option. The cafe was pretty busy when we went, hi but it took maybe 5-10 minutes to get our drinks. I really enjoyed mine! Sometimes I want a simple, plain matcha and it was just that - in a good way. Lol. Not overly sweet. The outside seating area is nice, especially on Saturdays when you can enjoy your drinks while the farmers market takes place. I had no idea they had a dedicated space for singers to perform. I've visited this coffee shop twice in the span of a week!! I love how cozy the vibe is and the coffee is delicious. Personally, my main reason for returning is their Asiago bagel; it's the best I've had! During my first visit I found the service to fall a bit flat with the cashier seeming a bit annoyed but I decided to give them another go and I'm glad I did. My second visit was much better and the staff seemed happy to serve customers. Seating is a bit limited indoors but they have a closed off outdoor seating area that I believe is heated. There are a decent amount of outlets and extension cords around so it's a good place to study. They also have a few board games at the front you can borrow to play with your friends. I was so happy to find this place right by Destination Donut, since they had a matcha latte. I asked if they had maple syrup for sweetener and they did. Problem was the maple syrup was the high fructose corn syrup type, not real maple syrup. I poured it out and went somewhere else. Log Cabin, or any other maple syrup made with high fructose corn syrup is NOT maple syrup. read more

This place is pretty sweet. Three things that make for a good coffee shop: good coffee, good seating, and reliable wifi. Check, check, and check. They also have a variety of bagels and pastries for food. I got a cold brew coffee (my go-to) and it was pretty good. The menu is straight to the point and prices are reasonable. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, which you don't see often at a coffee shop. It was a cool morning and we sat outside under one of the awnings. Lastly, the parking is really simple. There's a small lot right next to the building, or there is free (I think 2 hours) street parking. read more

Clearly a neighborhood favorite, this was super popular the Sunday morning we went. My seasonal latte, a cardamom vanilla bean oat milk iced latte was good. I've been to Global Gallery before. The service was prompt and I enjoyed speaking with the baristas. This weekend when I came in, the management was reprimanding staff in the front of house and holding up the line. I left without ordering because the energy was not good. I went while at the farmers market. Very nice spot. I went with my girlfriend. She had a vanilla iced latte which she really enjoyed. I had a macchiato which I rarely have but decided to give it a try. I did not enjoy it unfortunately. I thought maybe it just wasn't my taste but I had my girlfriend try it and said that's not how it's supposed to taste. I also had an everything bagel with cream cheese which was very good. read more

Global gallery is a long-standing staple in Clintonville, so I've stopped in a few times over the years. They have a large covered patio, plus lots of tasty local goodies and even some cool handmade craft items for sale. The inside is small with a walk-up counter. You can usually find fun seasonal options available and I enjoy that the service is usually pretty fast. I don't get up to Clintonville that often but it is usually a good go-to when I do. I noticed recently that they have a cocktail menu also, I'm guessing those are tasty. It might make a fun brunch sunday funday with friends this fall. read more

Coming from someone who works at a coffee shop and is knowledgeable about good coffee, Global Gallery never misses. Whenever I go I keep it simple with an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it tastes the same every time. Their chai is also a homemade concentrate that's also delicious. As for food, their asiago bagel is my go to. Tastes so fresh and has the perfect amount of asiago. Their bean burrito is also very good. Simple and tasty. Accidentally arrived to my dance rehearsal an hour early in Clintonville on a beautiful October afternoon, and thank goodness that made the best of my extra time by wandering into this beautiful, eccentric cafe and coffee shop. Employees were sweet- they have a ton of options, but even if it's not on the menu they will make you whatever you want! Global Gallery is a great local, fair trade coffee shop. They have outdoor seating, a great environment, and friendly staff. When I lived in Columbus, I would frequent here often enough for the staff to know my order. They sell local baked goods and have plenty of parking. This was a lovely spot for a socially distanced date. 1. I felt very safe. Masks are required when placing your order and they prefer no more than one patron at a time. 2. The indoor dining is closed. 3. The outdoor seating is nicely spaced. The picnic tables can accommodate large parties. 4. The tables have a sign to bring in to the cafe when you leave so they know they need to sanitize the table. (And they really do it!) 5. There's hand sanitizer available by the cafe entrance. We got bottled water and a cold tea. Service was wonderful and timely. Because it was a weekday afternoon there wasn't much foot traffic. read more

Just love coming to this place, and grabbing a cup of coffee outside on their patio (which has some heat lamps during the fall!). The view of N High is nothing to write home about, but the service is friendly, there's plenty of seating outside, the coffee is good and every now and then you get awesome purple sunsets if you're still around in the late afternoon outside (see photo). read more

I had no idea this is a cafe until a visit 2 years ago to the Cvlle Farmer's Market. I always assumed it was a global gift shop or something of that nature. I did not actually visit until a recent Saturday because Baker's Dozen Catering had a pop-up breakfast there (that was truly delicious). They have a nice large patio with a variety of seating, perfect for pleasant weather. In addition to the coffee and tea offerings, there are some delicious looking baked goods from several local bakeries, like Melissa's Incredible Edibles, Pattycake Bakery, and Food for Good Thought - we enjoyed some great chocolate chip cookies from Pattycake. There's a second small space inside that includes a gallery wall featuring local art. During our recent visit, there were some interesting Dia de Los Muertos skeleton inspired art, which was neat to see. This coffee shop was extremely adorable and had great choices! I stopped in here while attending the Clintonville farmers market and it was just what I needed. They had all of your typical iced and hot coffee drinks while also offering a few specials and cocktails. My boyfriend ordered a banana mocha ($5) and I ordered a grapefruit basil lime aid with whiskey($7). I tried his banana mocha and it was absolutely delicious. It was a creamy chocolate flavor with a hint of banana, seriously the right amount of all flavors involved. My cocktail was so refreshing and I loved that they used simple time mixers for their cocktails! They have indoor seating and patio seating. Indoor seating was very limited but the patio was very spacious with large picnic tables. I think this place would be perfect to come and relax, read a good book and drink some coffee! read more
