I am a big fan of flavored coffee and they have some great blends. I like the cinnamon hazelnut and just purchased a bag of Jamaican Me Crazy. You can get the coffee both ground and whole bean, your preference. If you find them at a market, they also bring some hot and cold drinks. I got a cold brew coffee/cold chai tea latte blend today, and it was delicious! It was one of those drinks that went down really easily and was a lovely blend of cold coffee and cinnamon spices. There were lots of flavors and blends available, and they had some syrups and milks as well.

The website is slightly puzzling, but you can figure it out. I have confidence in your ability. The coffee is roasted pretty expertly, imho. We can taste the difference between different origins, something I can't say about everyone's beans. Their prices are average, a good value considering that shipping is free on orders over $55 or so: three one-pound bags meets this criterion. And shipping is reasonably fast. We live too far for bicycle delivery, so ours comes by USPS in a few days. Only thing that bums me out is the decorated fancy fiberboard box that contains a stay-fresh bag of the coffee. Seems non-green and wasteful of their profits. Yeah, it looks great. But seems like they could just put a sticker with their logo on the plastic bag, at least for mailed orders. Or at least for mine. Whatever. Try this.

Much of the original woodwork and stained glass windows have been maintained. It's great for a rainy or snowy day. But the cafe interior does not boast much natural light. This location does have an outdoor patio (allows pets) but there is absolutely no shade so it's either no natural light inside or maximum natural light outside!

I've been to a Boston Stoker before, but the one near where I live closed down a few years ago and I haven't even heard the name in a hot second. That being said, I made my way there and was pleased to notice that Boston Stoker took over another previously closed down coffee shop. It looks fairly the same but it's been updated a bit. There's free parking right outside and free wifi. Inside you'll find two lounge areas as well as some tables. This spot is definitely one I would come to and work out of. They have a rather basic coffee menu (I didn't see a seasonal menu anywhere) and a small case of pastries. The pricing was good, maybe even a little cheaper than the other more bougie options in town. I got an iced flavored latte with oat milk and it was strong... but that's exactly what I needed. Now that I know it's here, I'm sure I'll be back, especially when I'm in the area. There's a few other local coffee shops nearby but this one is a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle on Grandview Ave.

Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor at tables, where you will usually see people taking, studying, or working. If you're not looking for a big corporate coffee experience, Stauf's (while still a smaller local "chain" with multiple locations) is the place to go in the 212.

Luckily, I got a table in the back, but plan to arrive early if you really need a spot. I tried one of their Valentines Day specialty drinks, that had cranberry and pear flavorings. It was different...but good. The fact that it was iced gave it a refreshing vibe. The playlist was nice, not too loud or distracting. My friend also tried the cookie brownie and said it was extra chocolatey :)

I get the Ohio Maple Latte or the Honey Vanilla Latte warm or iced with almond milk. They don't make them sweet. You can still taste their wonderful coffee!
