He didn't seemed rushed and was genuinely interested in sharing with me about Boston Stoker, like their history and what they have been doing in the specialty coffee world. Sure, the selection isn't as massive as Costco, and the store footprint feels tighter, but that's part of the charm. It's like wholesale shopping without needing a forklift or a second mortgage. Verdict: Still a Costco guy at heart, but BJ's earned my respect -- and maybe a spot on my errand rotation.
