Happy to say they're one of my favorite coffee spots in town! A lot of times espresso is too light at other cafes. They've got interesting flavors, some of which are rotating, and really nice staff. They don't rush you and they're friendly. Had to try the carrot cake latte. Really pretty looking! Not as sweet as it looked which I was happy about. You could still taste the espresso! It's inside the Land Grant extension. Super easy to find since they have signage outside. Tons of seating. Love to see that they had a decent amount of people here! It's been awhile since I've written a Yelp review, but having visited a Callin' Your Bluff a couple of times in the last two months, the place is absolutely worth writing about. I know they started out as a pop-up, but their semi-permanent location behind Land Grant is great, and I hope it becomes permanent. As you can imagine from the name of the coffee shop, there's a slightly quirky, slightly kitschy cowboy vibe going on here, which is rather endearing. TVs show various western shows and movies, and country and Americana music streams through the speakers. I can't recall what my wife and I ordered on our first visit, but I know it had sesame and was simply delicious. It reminded me of a drink I had at Parable a couple of times (a sesame miso latte), which is a good thing. On our most recent trip a week and a half before Christmas, they had a series of Christmas-themed drinks on the menu. My wife got a mint latte, and I got a "mo'lasso," which was molasses, ginger, clove, and cinnamon...literally all of my favorite spices. While I like my drinks a little on the sweet side and eventually added a Splenda, the flavors were amazing. The quality of craftsmanship that goes into each drink is evident -- this is high-level stuff, and worth returning to for the taste experience alone. On this most recent visit, there was a line out the door at 9:30 on a Saturday which says a lot about the word-of-mouth this place has received. Unlike most coffee shops, I really didn't mind a 20-30 minute wait to order and get our drinks. No pics this time, alas, but hopefully my words adequately express just how worthwhile this new coffee shop is. It's a great addition to the revitalized Franklinton downtown area. read more

Ok we heard about this place from a friend and the menu looked incredible, so obviously we had to try it. I would have ordered the entire menu if I had that kind of caffeine tolerance, but instead we settled for this flat white with cloud foam and their Mother's Day special. Both were incredible as expected. They're located just behind Land Grant near the pickleball courts and honestly have such a cute interior space that would be perfect for cafe camping as well. Super excited to have yet another cute coffee pop up in the Columbus area!! read more

So happy they have a space for the winter at Land Grants extension! Parking was easy on the street and there were only a couple people in line ahead of me. I tried the Lucky Strike, iced with espresso instead of matcha. It had a great orange flavor and reminded of the Christmas chocolate oranges! My husband tried a hot Mo lasso and also really enjoyed the spiced syrup. I highly recommend following them on instagram to see their specials and other pop up locations! read more

I really enjoyed the "Dust Devil" latte I had which was essentially a churro latte. The pop up I went to was in the Columbus Children's Theater parking lot which was a bit difficult to navigate from a parking standpoint. I do believe that the latte was about $8.00 so pretty steep pricing. I think I'd go back! read more

I've been following this coffee cart for months and finally got to try them out at a market on Saturday. The cart setup is adorable. The little midwestern vibes are on point. There was a pretty long line, but it moved quickly! Well worth the wait because my coffee was delicious. I ordered an iced salted vanilla latte. I have never tried matcha, but I was super close to trying it here because it looked SO GOOD. I will definitely continue tracking them down and maybe try matcha in the future! read more

I am so excited about this coffee cart! I discovered them on Instagram, and they started out super close to where I live! I was able to see them at a pop up a few weeks ago, and it seemed like everyone was there for the coffee! The line was well worth the wait. I got the Pony Boy latte because I am obsessed with all things ube. I was worried about the flavor only being in the foam, because I prefer a sweeter coffee. Fortunately, I really enjoyed my drink without all the sweetness! The espresso is very mellow and mild, which is perfect for a girl like me. I need to come back and try their Cowboy Latte, and their seasonal drinks. read more

The menu is interesting and different which I appreciate but $9, almost $10, for a very small iced latte is too much for me, especially with having to pay $2 for parking. read more

The wait was about 40 minutes. Had to go with a sweet cream instead of the maple because they were out, but get there as early as you can. Not too sweet which I like! read more

If you haven't tried Callin' Your Bluff Coffee this is your PSA to do so. I headed over to the craft festival this weekend to catch them over at Dye Mad Yarns. I got their cowboy latte. This drink consists of espresso, milk, maple syrup, and smoked sea salt. I wasn't interested in the pony boy this time around which is espresso (or matcha), milk, agave, and ube cloud. Luckily, I had the wonderful idea to add ube cloud to my cowboy latte, and that was the right choice. Shoutout to the owners, Kylie and Molly, who are so sweet and personable! Excited for what they have in store for fall/winter! One more thing, my friend absolutely loved her matcha and said it wasn't overly sweet. I also absolutely love how they reuse empty oat milk cartons as cup holders -- talk about sustainability! read more
