I've been wanting to try out moonbird for the longest time and finally got the chance! They are situated in a parking lot so there is plenty of space to park. The trailer itself was so cute! I came on a Thursday afternoon at 1:40 ish and there wasn't a line and the drinks came out pretty quickly too. We got the moonbird and the seasonal key lime pie matcha with oat milk which were both amazing! The key lime whip had a pleasant tanginess that complimented the rest of the drink well. The moonbird was a solid matcha latte with fresh mint on top that they grow themselves. After trying our drinks, I knew we had to go right back for more! I also got the other seasonal drink (the cure) but got it with matcha instead of cold brew. The cream top had a light and fruity taste (fresh peach, cardamom, vanilla bean) which was nice. I also got another moonbird matcha so I could bring it for my friend to try. Candice was so sweet! Love the creativity and the care that was put into making these awesome drinks! Moonbird is known for their sweet baristas and housemade syrups. You can expect some super unique specials here. The first couple times my husband and I came here, it was super busy and we weren't the happiest with our drinks (we tried some unique options). Yesterday, we opted for items from their core menu, the Mystic Rhythm and the White Witch. The Mystic Rhythm is a delicious salted brown sugar latte, and it had the perfect sweetness and balance. My husband got the White Witch and he really enjoyed his drink. Somehow, there were no customers when we arrived yesterday and our drinks came out super fast! I feel like that's unheard of for Moonbird. I love their quaint trailer and the decor, it is truly adorable. We will definitely be back. read more

Had them on my list to try. I came a bit past 9:30am on a Friday and it wasn't that busy. Only 2 others waiting for coffee but they did have a decent amount of customers coming and going. I tried the mystic rhythm latte. It has a few different seasonings in it. Maybe nutmeg and cinnamon? Espresso is kinda light. You do need a straw to mix the syrup at the bottom. They do make the drinks fast. I didn't wait long. It's located in a quiet area on a side street off the main road. Right behind an apartment building. Seems some folks came out of the apt just to get some coffee. Pretty convenient! And you can park in the spots right by the building. It's decent. I'd probably come back to try the matcha. The service was good. They told me if my drink was too sweet that they would remake it! Nice! It wasn't that sweet actually. Not bad. read more

Cutest little trailer coffee spot down a quiet side street in Grandview/Fifth x NW! Mr R had picked us up coffees from Moonbird beforw, but just the other day, we took a long walk over and treated ourselves to some iced lattes. Loved every single thing about this spot! It's adorable, the woman working was so kind, and the menu is both tasty and creative. Mr got a plain iced latte and I tried the white witch latte (mandarin, rose, and vanilla I believe). It is a good sized coffee drink for a fair price (not the cheapest, but very good quality). I love the plastic cups they use, also! Can't wait to try more items in the menu, including food which will start again in the autumn. read more

I walked here on a cold morning to get coffee the first morning as a resident of Columbus. I expected a brick and mortar shop and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the cutest turquoise camper. Both employees were super sweet and explained their coffees. I ordered one of their new winter coffee drinks, Nightfall, and it was delicious! This is a quaint camper with seating just outside of it. One a warm day I could see it being a great place to hang out. So glad it's less than a 10 minute walk from me! read more

I had the moonbird matcha which was light and delicious. My husband had the cortado which was strong and hit the spot. There is outdoor seating and the coffee shop isn't far from other places. I was in the area of OSU hospital yesterday and I was looking for a local coffee place to avoid the big chains. Supporting LOCAL is important to me, especially if they have a good product. If I had a death row meal for breakfast this would be it. Not only does their cofee taste so real and raw, their two food items being the avacado toast and waffle on a stick are perfect and to die for.
