I am all for an independent coffee shop, but sadly I did not enjoy the atmosphere, staff interaction or coffee here. It was dead silent inside, to the point of being uncomfortable. The dude who took my order and made my drink was non-verbal. The coffee itself tasted really bitter and like the oat milk part of the oat latte was missing. Always glad to try a new place, but I would not return.

Today was my first time visiting Grandview Grind. The cafe is situated in a strip mall with plenty of parking in the morning. The interior has a few tables, along with books to read and merchandise to buy. I arrived right at 7 AM when it opened. The barista was friendly and took my order after I looked over the menu. I went with the white coconut mocha. The drink includes coconut milk, which is not a personal favorite. The next time I go, I will choose a different drink. The coffee had good flavor and it was pretty strong with an extra shot of espresso. Overall I am glad I found this place on Yelp. It opens early on weekends and they have large latte options. I will visit again in the future.

Today I returned to GV Grind - I bounce around some to different places and the first stop was closed up dark although they should have been open two hours earlier. Fortunately this local shop is ready to go! Clean and tidy inside and they have some great art hanging (which I presume is for sale). I have a friend who is a great bluegrass musician and he & his friends play here from time to time. That's what I love about independent coffee houses. They have a real sense of community and a unique feel that is different from anywhere else - and unique is a good good thing in my book! Plenty of parking available in the lot early in the AM, but watch out, it does really fill up later in the day!

Super adorbs little study space tucked into a commercial strip mall area. The cinnamon latte was a great way to start the morning. The muffins were pretty solid as well. What truly makes this place a fantastic study place is the number of outlets and larger tables, and the fact that everyone brings their laptop and we all have a fun, socially distanced cafe camping adventure while getting our productive work done. The parking is a little difficult (as many reviewers have previously mentioned). There's a lot in the back behind the cafe itself with limited spots, but the rest of the commercial lot has a time limit on the parking.

I love working in this space on weekdays! The staff is AMAZING and I love that they use local vendors! Pros: - local coffee - helpful staff - tables in proximity to outlets - great area in grandview- near restaurants and other shops! Cons: - can be a loud space to work in on weekends - baked goods are decent, but don't count on getting food here Overall would definitely recommend for weekday work!

I'm not a major coffee person, but I thoroughly enjoyed my caramel-flavored cappuccino. It's hard to find a good one! It was comforting and flavorful, with just enough foam. Grandview Grind had a lot of winter-flavored options; my BF ordered the eggnog latte and really liked it. On the down side, I don't love the decor and there's limited seating, but so it goes. None the less, if you're in Grandview this cafe is certainly worth checking out!

Pleasant staff, nice vibe. Flat white wasn't incredibly memorable, just a nice place. Perhaps not for the connoisseur

Cinna honey latte for the win! Service is always quick and despite the parking lot looking small, I never have an issue finding parking.

My sister and I had just finished up lunch and wanted a sweet treat and some caffeine to keep our afternoon going. The space itself looks great. For the longest time this corner was home to a vacant building and they put a lot of work into it. The side where you order is fairly small but on the other side of the wall is a good sized lounge area. Perfect for getting work done, catching up with friends, etc. I ordered the super trendy strawberry matcha and a pistachio raspberry macaron. Both were worth coming back for. The strawberry matcha had a delicious strawberry jam with a cold foam on top. I could tell the matcha wasn't the lowest grade option you could get because it tasted very smooth. The macaron was absolutely gorgeous and much bigger than the average. Both sides of the macaron were big and the amount of filling inside was amazing. Very flavorful but not over-bearing. It was also extremely photogenic. My sister enjoyed her goodies, too. She went with a hot chocolate and a cinnamon macaron and said she was a fan. They are Latinx-owned and women-owned, which I love to see. I will definitely be back to try more things and fingers crossed this spot sticks around for a while!

I've heard nothing but great things about this cafe, so my expectations were high - I'm happy to…read morereport that this place is worth the hype! We were gifted tickets for the German Village picnic Giftory experience which gave us two macarons of our choosing and two vanilla shortbread cookies for free. We chose the raspberry chambord and pistachio macarons while also ordering two pistachio cloud matchas. All of the desserts were excellent. The raspberry macaron was very fruit forward while the pistachio was more subdued, but still had a spot on flavor. Even with sugar coating the shortbread cookies, the touch of vanilla made them taste light. I could easily see myself eating far too many of those. The star of the show was the matcha. 10/10! I've never had a pistachio flavored drink, so I was a little hesitant, but wow, I'm glad I ordered it! The matcha base wasn't overly sweet nor was the pistachio foam overly salty. Perfect mix of sweet and savory. Even thought the line was out the door, it moved at a decent pace and our drinks didn't take too long to receive. I'd like to try the strawberry matcha next time, but I'm not sure if I can pass up the pistachio Highly recommend!

I think the issue is with the chocolate they use for the mocha but it had such an odd flavor that I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The croissant was fine and not memorable and I won't say too much on the macaron because I think I just realized I'm not really a macaron person so I can't fairly judge them there. The cafe is itty bitty and there is absolutely no seating inside so it's more of a grab and go situation. There are a few seats outside so hopefully you can snag a seat when the weather is nicer. Overall, I think there are a lot of other good coffee shops in Columbus that I don't see myself going out of my way to come back.
