I stood at the order pickup space for about five minutes before an attentive colleague asked (other colleagues simply gave glances and head nods) what I was waiting for and moved me to the other end of the counter to place my order. This is the worst location for quick service. I was 3rd car in line and it took almost 10 minutes for me to get a regular coffee at 6am in the drive thru. When I pulled up to the window the 3 workers were standing and talking to each other. When it takes more than a few minutes at Caribou (in MN) they give you the coffee free. This Starbucks closed for a while for renovation, but it's TERRIBLE. The people are great. Drinks are great. Design is horrible. 1) you have to circle all the way around the store to get into the drive thru. There's no divider lines between the drive thru and exit, so cars constantly get stuck (they can't get out due to the drive-thru). 2) the ADA parking spots are trapped by the drive-thru. This is unacceptable. 3) there should be a stop sign where the drive-thru ends. This is a disaster waiting to happen. Overall, very disappointing. It's a nightmare for parking, navigating, and I feel bad for anyone with handicap, since they can't get to the spots. Starbucks - do better! read more

I was very happy to hear that offer the Trenti size, which I is the largest size you can order. This dragon drink is my favorite and I always pick up something for my son. I don't often frequent Starbucks because they don't offer free wi-fi. However, you can access two hours of wi-fi with an active Starbucks gift card, which my aunt and uncle so kindly sent me (since they live in an area without Caribou Coffee). This is a free standing unit in the Kroger / Big Lots shopping center, and is a little awkward to access from Polaris parkway. It is quite large and has a good dozen small and large tables, a sofa, and two armchairs. Most of the tables have access to outlets except for a few in the center. There is plenty of natural and overhead light. There is also a drive-thru for those in a hurry. I had a vanilla bean frappicino, which was probably too cold of a choice for such a wet windy day. Still, it was a quiet, pleasant place to spend a few hours studying. I just wish they had unencumbered free wi-fi. read more

I worked at Starbucks, and then at a Barnes and Noble cafe for several years. And in having that background, I have an incredibly high standard for how my Starbucks interactions will go. I'm adding two stars for fairly consistent quality and speedy service. Even when they're busy, I get a good a product in the time I'd expect a busy Starbucks to handle my order. Overall: zero stars for service. I can't even wrap my mind around how condescendingly the partners here not only talk to me, but other customers. -I've been passive-aggressively intentionally given the wrong milk and when I asked for my drink remade I was given decaf. -Another time I pointed out that I had ordered earl grey and was given English breakfast. The drink was aggressive tossed into the sink and there was a lot of eye rolling and slamming things about. -I've been talked to like I was too stupid to function because they insisted I was ordering something that didn't exist. A cafe espresso frappuccino was a seasonal beverage they don't have the ingredients for anymore. An espresso frappuccino is a regular coffee frappuccino made with shots of espresso instead of the regular coffee base. It's a menu item, it is a part of training. But even if I were mistaken about the name and official status of the beverage; what do you stand to gain to argue with a customer over it? Just make it. That's literally what you're trained to do. -I was told it's "against Starbucks policy" (spoiler alert: it's not) to split a grande beverage into two tall cups. The drink was for two small kids who couldn't have finished an entire tall but didn't want to share a cup. They gave me a second cup and told me to split it myself. At this point I'd rather deal with parking at polaris mall, walk inside just to get a drink from one of the Starbucks inside than go back to this store. Thankfully, I live closer to a Starbucks with a delightful staff that always makes me feel welcome and makes and effort to be personable. read more

I remained overlooked and unacknowledged. I continued to remain silent because I didn't notice anyone making my drink.. so I figured the app was incorrect. I continued to wait and after about 10 minutes, someone asked if I had a mobile order. I politely said yes and gave my name. She then looked at this cup that had been sitting on the back counter the entire time and handed it to me. Look, you could say that I should have spoken up, however, that felt rude to me. I stop at this Starbucks' drive-through frequently on my way to work, and I've always had good experiences. Even when the morning rush comes on and the drive-through line stretches out of the parking lot, the person taking the orders and the person who serves me are always very polite, professional, and personable. Once I drove up in a rainstorm, and when I got to the window the lady handed me a clean, dry towel to wipe off the inside of my car door, which had gotten wet while I was placing my order.
