Decided to spot by and grab me a grande White Hot Mocha with Caramel Drizzle. Unfortunately, it did not hit the spot. In fact, I had this drink made twice and both times the drink was blaaa. Let me be specific ha ha ha. The drink was more on the bitter milky side. I hardly tasted the white mocha, which gives the drink its flavor and sweetness. I always add the caramel to give it some more pizzaz. The drink tasted like milk and espresso. I was sad... One barista made it and it looked like the manager or the shift leader made it the 2nd time both were't great. Also, please make sure you all wash your hands when dealing with trash! The guy (manager or shift leader) was in the middle of taking out/touching trash and decided to grab my cup to make my drink without washing his hands (of course I said something)! I'm so surprised by the 3-star rating on this Starbucks. I just discovered it and will definitely be back when I'm in the area. The number one reason I say that is because it's rather big and perfect for getting work done. Not only do they have a large room full of comfy couches and lounge seating, but there's a second room with the perfect setup for studying or dialing into your work. There's plenty of parking, the staff were friendly and quick with my drink order, the bathrooms were clean, and there were plenty of outlets for juicing up devices. I had both my phone and laptop plugged in. My only complaint was that it was a cold day and I was freezing inside. I moved three times to try and escape air vents blowing at me. Not a good experience at all with Alex. He handled my complaint and now I know why reviews at this location are poor. Starbucks, you have partnered with Doordash so saying you have no responsibility is Ludacris. Doordash picked up the right order and delivered it on time. That is their end of the deal. Yours is to make the order correctly, which it was not. If responsibility was taken, all could be made right, but instead there was just blame on Doordash. I was immediately greeted with a smile when I walked up to the counter. The great service continued throughout my stay. My pink drink was delicious and the service was quick getting it. This Starbucks is huge. having two large rooms with lots of workspace. Tables with regular chairs plus a whole living room type area with leather couches and oversize chairs. The restrooms were clean. There is plenty of parking on both sides of the building. The area has a lot of shopping and food choices nearby. A drive thru is available. read more

I started my last full day in Columbus by finding a Starbucks. I did a search and found this one. This cafe wasn't difficult to find. It has plenty of parking and a drive-thru. I decided to try the latter out. There was quite the lineup on a Sunday morning. I saw folks nicely dressed in dress suits getting their coffee fix before church. I got to the speaker area and ordered my usual, which is a grande iced black tea. Again, I got black tea latte as confirmation from the woman on the other end. I can only guess that locals are obsessed with lattes that everything that you order tends to get a latte spin. I repeated my order and all seemed to be okay. The sun came out while I was waiting to get to the window. It was a sign of hope that my order would come out fine. It did. It wasn't a latte. I got a friendly, energetic barista. She scanned my card on my phone app, gave me my drink, and I left. The cafe looks large from the outside. My drink was perfectly made. I'm not sure why I've never left a review for this location even though I frequent it. It's a huge space inside, which I was surprised by looking at it from the outside. It doesn't seem to get that busy in there, unless I just so happen to come during off times. I've done drive thru a few times here as well, and they are usually pretty nice at the window. I did have one lady who barely made eye contact with me. She must've been flustered. Still, it wasn't good customer service. Regardless, I give them five stars because the franchise overall does a great job with creating a variety of drinks. read more

I enjoy coming to Starbucks before work on a slow day because its quick, you go in grab your drink and head out, I don't have crazy expectations for the coffee because its franchised and virtually the same whether you come to this one or down the street to the next. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO STARBUCKS ON W HENDERSON RD. at one point in my life i was going out grab coffee every single morning and afternoon for about two years. 85% of the time it would be at Starbucks. theres nothing better than walking in and getting a warm welcome from the staff when your already a little grumpy due to not having that warm cup of joe. the icing is when you remember your usual order and start making it before you walk up in line haha i was very disappointed at starbs on Henderson. They have about 6-8 people on staff so there shouldnt be a wait to be greeted and to place your order. Here everyone is just looking at each other and laughing and giggling while i waited first in line to place my order for about 3-4 minutes. i understand there is a high volume of people coming and placing orders but you CANNOT prioritize the drive thru if you offer indoor ordering. there are many other stores offering drive thru only and that is not why i came here. My drinks were prepared in a timely manner after receiving a few dirty looks from the large light haired manager.... when i sat in there to enjoy my coffee with a friend in a completely empty dining area is where most of the issues arose. every two seconds there was a person yelling across the store to make sure you have a mask on unless your actively drinking. so i left it on below my lips to take another sip shortly after the first. before i got there i was yelled at again to put my mask up... at this point i decided to walk out... with there not being another person within 25 feet i found it a little ridiculous i cant half a laugh with my girlfriend. thats when we were ild about their "protocols". they're very strict about them and most other stores do not even tell you to keep it up "unless actively drinking" . if they're so strict about not spreading germs then maybe they should clean the bathrooms more frequently. they looked as if they had not been mopped and or cleaned in ages. and the rust on the soap dispenser is EXTREMELY appetizing... you guys have 8 ppl running around half-a$$ing their jobs im sure someone could go and give things a wipe down. this place is just gross and not worth your time. my rant is now over. time for the next coffee shop lol read more

Wow, this is a nice looking Starbucks! This is evident as you approach the exterior which has a classy exterior with brick and wood accents and wooden blinds visible in the windows. There's a drive thru as well and a small parking lot. Inside this Starbucks has a classy, upscale feel with dark wooden chairs and tables and even some leather (or leather like) chairs and couches giving part of it the look of a study or an upscale lounge or club. There is a large section of Starbucks products (tumblers, etc) and newspapers too. If you have a mobile order there's a small tray where these will be placed so it's easy to grab it and go. WiFi is free and available; staff seemed ok though nothing above and beyond. Overall this Starbucks has a classy design inside and out with plenty of space inside to lounge or work. read more

The ones that are designed to work freestanding rather that at a desk are a step back in comfort from the overstuffed leather ones they replaced, and the ones that replaced the straight-backed chairs to be used at the tables are an overly-tight fit for those of us who are the majority of Americans (i.e., obese). read more

It's hard to believe this place was once a Taco Bell. The renovated interior and exterior completely disguise that. The inside is beautiful--dark wood floors, low-sititng leather chairs with side tables, a very long table at the entrance, and smaller four-tops scattered in the main dining area. The previous location was just down the road but didn't have a drive-thru and both the restaurant and parking lot were pretty small. The staff seem pretty friendly at this location, but I think my heart lies with the staff at the Bethel Rd. location. I was here very early on a Sunday morning (~7 AM) and there were a few people reading or hard at work. I think if you can work at off-peak hours, you're fine, but I could see why it would be difficult to focus during the rush hour--I think the space might be highly reverberative. Food and beverages are consistent to what I've experienced at other locations. The store is accessible from Henderson Rd. heading westbound, but getting in and out by car is kind of tight and wind-y. I think there are probably a handful more parking spots than the old location, but on a day when it's full, it's a challenge to navigate getting in and out of a spot. read more

For drinks this Starbucks isn't any different, which is a good thing, If I must dinged them on drinks that means that someone isn't doing something right; a multi-billion national force should have formula down to an easy list. Therefor I will not review a Starbucks unless they super homerun my expectations or they whiff at them. This one whiffs. The reason? Believe it or not, acoustics. This place echo's every noise from the counter. Living in the Northwest side, I was excited when this place popped-up in the old Taco Bell off Henderson and Reed. I like to walk for exercise, and to stop by a place to read. Unfortunately, cafes in this section of town are slim pickings. You had either the Bethel Road 'Buck or the old one on Henderson off Derker, both were small, pickup-and-go kind of places. I was happy that a bigger café had finally moved into the neighborhood. But then the catch. It is hard to read, or enjoy much of anything because of the noise level. I do not know why, but the building echoes every drive through order, every ching from the cash register, ever shoosh of the steamer, and every gulp of the milk container. Even worse, the employees, who I think are teenagers fresh off their school day, energized and blood bubbling with hormones are crazy; you hear ever giggle, every loud peacocking, every goofy joke, every lousy imitation, every insipid movie meme, every awkward juvenile flirt, and even their squeaky sneakers rubbing on the floor as they have their teenage hormonal goof-spasms, all as if they were yelling right in my ear, as I was trying to read Sacred Hunger, a solemn book about the slave trade. This Starbucks is brand new, they just moved from the much smaller location on Dierker Rd. It is very spacious with a large conference table and many smaller seating areas. They also have a drive-thru now! The coffees are all excellent as usual for Starbucks. Most of the employees are very friendly and helpful. read more

The customer service at this Starbucks location is utterly amazing. I visit several times a week to pick up a drink on my way to work. Not only do several of the baristas remember my name, but they even remember my drink. One day I ordered in a tired haze and forgot to specify soy milk instead of regular, and one of the baristas actually caught my mistake! Thank you so much, that was very considerate. You saved me from getting really sick that day. The drinks are always made in a timely fashion, even when they seem super busy. They have never once messed up my order in over four months of visits, and coffee/milk is never burned or scalded. read more

This Starbucks seems to have sprung up in the blink of an eye. I pass by the location every week when I go grocery shopping, and it feels like one week it was a shell with a "Starbucks Coming Soon" sign, and the next week there it was! As far as Starbucks go, it's large and has a great patio area. It's laid out differently from any other Starbucks I've visited, with a big area that looks like a party room on one side of the store. Could be good for meetings if your group gets there early enough to push the tables together (there's one in there right now). There are plenty of tables as well as armchairs and a retail section right down the center that splits up the space and makes it feel cozier than the size would otherwise allow. It's unclear why they built one here when the next-nearest is a third of a mile away, unless it's because this one could accommodate a drive-through and the other one could not. Not complaining, though, as this one is far more comfortable; the one at 2051 is pretty cramped. I head to Starbucks when I need some reliability (and on the weekend when all the great locally owned coffeehouses are packed to the gills while serving brunch), but there are few interesting enough to make a purposeful destination. Typical Starbucks branch. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making this my favorite branch to come to for work. Good selection of thermoses and mugs for gifts. Ample parking. Baristas are friendly but the drive-through is very slow. However, they have a good "free-coffee-if-it's-too-delayed" policy, so I've gotten a couple of free drinks when the drive-through lines were taking forever. The drinks they make at this branch are decent. Lighting could be improved, as well as adequate heating in the winter. read more

Horrible service first thing in the morning!!! Visited this Starbucks at 5:30am this morning. First off doors were still locked at 5:32am. The young lady clearly mad eye contact with us waiting at the primary door. She decided to walk around store and unlock all the other doors before letting us in. Then when she open the door she said "Sorry" in a very sarcastic and nasty way. I turned and looked at my co-worker who heard the same tone that I did. We didn't respond to her, looking back her "Sorry" was a very discriminating remark, Since we are 2 professional African-American women. She clearly had an attitude and was bothered by us. We ordered 2 venti White chocolate mocha's one with extra espresso. And we also ordered a sausage egg and cheddar McMuffin and a Turkey with pesto sandwich. We both went to the restroom and left another co-worker waiting to order. After we got our drink and all exited, our male co-worker informed us that they were talking shit about us. One had said it's to early for for this shit. And to be having customers with difficult orders. And they continued talking in the back where he couldn't hear. I was shocked seeing as though I purchase Starbucks every day of the week including weekends and now have become fond of the breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I spend about $20 -$25 a day. As well as I introduced Starbucks to my co-workers who are now hooked. What type of people do you have working at the Henderson Road store. Very unprofessional, rude, unfriendly and I inviting. My go-to Starbucks in the Westerville area. Staff is always very friendly and service is quick. The inside offers a nice space with ample seating to read, surf the web, work etc. They have added items to their menu over the past few years that include sandwiches and breakfast items. My Starbucks callings are low. So am I jaded? I'll try out some objective reasoning for my points. (1) Engineering: who ever created the parking lot as I walk-in to Starbucks was a mad man. I'm sure it was work with what you got but it's tiny and really difficult; bleeds into the drive-through zone. (2) Cold inside: Not very warm on the inside and in the a.m. the place is a bit of a zoo with the drive-thru business coming in from Henderson Road. (3) Just getting in from Henderson or Reed - arrgh! - or getting out. Traffic, traffic, traffic! Starbucks is pretty cookie cutter. Tall, Grande, Venti drives me EFFIN' nuts... so shee-shee. The staff here is always friendly, and I love how even when you're waiting at the window for your items, they engage in small talk with you (really a great sign of communication actually!) so you're not sitting in silence staring at each other. Of course they're always busy, Henderson Road itself is packed at 10am on a Tuesday until 9pm on a Thursday. I swear it's the busiest road in Columbus. That aside, people want their coffee and this place has it. They have messed up my order twice but out of a good 30 times I went this past summer, it's not an outrageous fraction. Left out the caramel in my caramel macchiato and gave me an egg bite instead of a bacon Gouda sandwich. Whatever, I'm not one to pull back around and complain. I like the size of this one way better than the tiny one over on bethel and the staff here is much friendlier in my opinion! If you can avoid the early morning rush then you'll be golden. read more

While the menu isn't any different from a standard Starbucks, this former Taco Bell has been transformed into a fantastic and comfortable space that allows you to get a coffee, relax on a couch, and let the world fade into the background for a while. You wouldn't be able to tell at first glance, but this place used to be a Taco Bell. They did a remarkable job redecorating the place. They had several seating sections, instead of one large seating area. In the back area they even have a large table enough to seat 12 people if you are looking for a place to have a group meeting. My only complaint is there's a slight draft from the windows. read more
