Best coffee in the area. Great atmosphere and repurposing of the old bank building. A multitude of coffee/tea and food options on offer. Get yourself to the Vault!

Such a cute establishment, and in the heart of Galena. The barista's were so kind and made me the perfect drink that I described, a honey vanilla latte. They had a ton of fun seasonal latte options that I definitely will be coming back to try!! Nice patio our side and lots of room to work and hang out inside as well. They had some pastry items and even some gluten free that I will be coming back for.

What a gorgeous and cool little coffee spot in a historic bank building! Sit on the patio overlooking the River or in the cozy living room downstairs. Or, go up the spiral staircase to the bright and cheery cafe area. Lots of coffee, tea and pastry options to start your morning off right. I love this place!

I tried one of their new seasonal coffee drinks, the banana crème pie latte. It was delicious and the egg sandwiches were soft. I can't wait to go back! It was a cute little area.

This coffee shop lives up to the great reviews. I will dream about their iced lattes. Located on a pretty town square in Galena right next door to Galena Diner and Son of Thurman. They have off street parking and a little outdoor patio. The downstairs seating is also open again. Staff is very friendly and the coffee is sooo good. They also have monthly seasonal special drinks. This month it is blueberry cobbler latte or s'mores latte. This is a short drive from Alum Creek and Polaris. Loved it!

This place is great! If you haven't been I'd highly suggest a visit. The shop is in the old Galena bank and they still have the vault door, which is really cool. The staff are super nice and the food and drinks are delicious. I got a 16 oz. iced mocha, a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin and a lemon muffin. Best way to start a Saturday - will definitely be back soon!

I know, I know this is really out of the way for basically everyone. I only stumbled across this little village square by taking the wrong turn and driving way too long before I realized it. But this coffee shop is so charming and absolutely worth visiting. It's next to a diner and the new son of thurman's, and there's the mudflats boardwalk to check out. You can actually sit inside the vault, or check out the retail goods they sometimes have set up in there. There's also cozy seating a fireplace in the basement. I try to go once a week to enjoy a scone and coffee, or some other local treat the sell. And there's a decent amount of retail, coffee and tea, mugs and shirts, and they sell some books by a local author that take place in Galena. I'm halfway through his first book and it's most definitely worth buying if you visit. But most importantly, their drinks are really good and they have an almost overwhelming variety of flavors to choose from.

Coffee Vault (CV) is a good ol reliable not far off the "beaten" path, they also sell a Columbus Metro favorite (not mine)-- One Line Coffee, by the lb. Coffee Vault is cute, quaint, accessible. If you come to Galena for Son of Thurman it's a great refuel pit stop!

Definitely stop in at The Coffee Vault if you're near. They have a great regular coffee menu selection and monthly or seasonal special creations. They also have sandwiches, bagels, & baked goods. They're close to some great walking or biking trails, so a perfect spot to treat yourself!

Coffee was not bad. Unfortunately they charged us for low ice in our cold brew. Also, the creamer is not self serve.

The restaurant is part of a golf course complex, and the Eggmann takes up maybe 3/5 of the building. It has a large dining room decorated in a very country style/crafty way. The views ofnthe golf course were nice, lots of windows it's very scenic. The tables were comfortable and the servers were nice. Just dont be in a hurry here as they (staff) move at their own pace. Lol. A bit slow to get our meal. It seems that their specialty is waffles. They looked really good. Actually, nearly 2/3 of the menu seems to involve a creative use of waffles. Not being in a waffle mood we both ordered the bacon avocado egg Benny. My husband paired it with a salad and I chose potato cubes. The salad was large for a side and my husband gave it thumbs up. The potato wedges were some of the best I have had and had enough for two people, to be honest. However the egg benny just didnt come together, imo. Here's my beef with it: is described as crispy bacon, ripe avocado, sautéed spinach, sunny side up eggs, house made hollandaise sauce on top of a toasted croissant. That all was correct. It seemed like it would work but it just didnt. My spinach and bacon were in the potatoes and not laying on the sandwich. The hollandaise sauce wasnt on top of my eggs like most Benedict. It was way under the eggs and laid in very sparse. Honestly, I could not even taste it. At first I thought the croissant was missing but then realized. Oh no, it was there -but just really cut super thin and of course, now soggy from being so thin and having the hollandaise right on top of it with a hot egg on top. Kind of mushy. Just didnt work.. For 14.75 a sandwich this was an utter disappointment as it just didnt come together. Tip: Skip it, Get the waffles. Dont think we will come back since we aren't waffle people. If we were- thats what we would stick to here.

I added sautéed bananas, which was absolutely delicious! I didn't add any syrup as it was perfect as it was. I opted for bacon which was delightfully crisp! Being known for their gravy, how could I not? The gravy had small pieces of sausage crumbled in it, creamy and milk based took me back to grandmas kitchen. Inside is rather small, so go early. Sierra, our server came over to greet us and took our orders. We started with a bloody Mary, a irish Mary, deviled eggs,,, drinks were crazy expensive but also crazy good. The deviled eggs is an excellent recipe. They were delicious and well presented. My son got the chorizo hash. It looked amazing. He confirmed it was. Both my husband and Ingot the frittata. At first I thought it looked over cooked but slicing it to it I realized it was perfect. Great flavor. Would order again. As far as value.... pricing was a bit odd. Some things we would of purchased were crazy expensive. Like a mimosa was 45. Thats insanity, imo. Another example: smoked salmon BLT was $21. The $14 salad entree, to out shrimp on it "added" $15 making it $29. I felt that was over inflated, as well. Regardless, we enjoyed what we ordered. Bunch for three with 2 drinks and a soda came to $91. So there are some decent menu items that are priced nicely. Not bad.
