I've been visiting this Starbucks location quite often and genuinely enjoy their service. It's crazy busy but they still come through with well made drinks. Wanted to write a better updated review but I'm honestly disappointed. They're mobile order pickup has improved which is great. It's quicker to get your order that way from this location. The drinks seem to have gotten worse... the last few times I've ordered I feel scammed. You order a venti and they don't fill it to the top even with the crap load of ice they give you. When you pay $6+ for a drink you expect to ATLEAST get the full amount of what you paid for. It looks like someone decided to drink out of my cup. Even worse, trying to talk to someone about it is a struggle unless you want to fall back in-line since no one wants to look up at the customers waiting by the mobile order area. Disappointed. The nice clean and quiet little Starbucks in the mall. These small coffee shops don't have drive-thrus and are nice quiet place to take a break from all the traffic noise. Disappointed in the treatment of customers and employees at this location. Went to this location and ordered a breakfast sandwich without the cheese, due to a dairy sensitivity. The man working behind the counter gave the sandwich to the young woman working to hand to me (social distancing measures), and when I opened it, it had the cheese on it. The young woman very nicely went to grab me another one. But, once she got back to the counter, the man proceeded to mock my order and verbally berate the young woman for not being clear enough with the order, in full earshot of me and my friend. TLDR, went in for a sandwich, ended up getting made fun of and hearing a girl get chewed out for something that wasn't her fault. read more

Beware... ordered a grande drip with creamer, and since they don't have it available for customer to add, it made it convenient for the cashier to charge me for heavy cream. All the Starbucks keep half and half for customers to add, but this location does not offer it. You have to request creamer, and that's when they upcharge you. read more

One word: Sloooooooooooooow. I used to work at this location and man, we could crank out some drinks. It was expected that you needed to haul ass on the weekends. Now, they've got a whole brand new team and I swear to god I could've painted the entire store, watched the paint dry, and could've gone home and they still wouldn't have my ONE drink done. I used mobile order to order myself a donut. 10 minutes later, I got there and for five minutes my donut was sitting next to the mobile pick up counter. I was trying to get the barista's attention for five minutes but they seemed to ignore me. When I asked for my donut she just handed it over the glass and said bye. read more

Thanks to the team at this store for being so friendly. The line was easy to determine from the entrance by their retail. They seem to run out of their lunch offerings, but I was impressed with how full the pastry case was. I love how updated this location seemed and I was so happy with how quick the service was. Typical Starbucks, very busy and only 1 barista. It was Sunday evening and I expected to have to wait for my coffee. The wait was a little long, but I still got my coffee in a good amount of time. (This story takes place late last year) This was literally the worst Starbucks I had ever been to. I am a gold member (this was before they got rid of the gold membership) at Starbucks, and I saw that they had a BOGO offer for gold members on the app. I wasn't sure if every location was participating in the offer, so I had asked the cashier about it when it was my turn in line. This is how the conversation went down: Barista: Hi. Me: Hi there! I was wondering if you guys were participating in this offer? -shows her the offer on my phone- Barista: What do you want? - asked in a rude tone, and has a straight mean face on- Me: Oh. Can I get a Venti Serious Strawberry Frappuccino? Her: -starts punching in the order, and doesn't ask about my second drink- Me: -Awkwardly- And for the second drink.. Can I get the same thing, but with non fat milk and no whipped cream? Her: -proceeds to tell me the order total- As I start to scan my phone to pay with my Starbucks card, she blocks the scanner and says "WAIT! Are you even a member? (suggesting that the promotion is for members only)" I responded with "Yes", and she proceeds to let me scan my phone. I knew that I didn't have enough on my Starbucks card to cover the whole balance, and I didn't want to reload the card. As I'm getting my card out of my wallet to pay the balance due, she snarkily says "YOU STILL OWE ME 52 CENTS!" Ok, calm down. It's not that serious. She was in a sour puss mood with me right from the start, yet she was friendly with everybody else ahead of me. I had never been to this location before, so I truly don't know what her problem with me was. My only assumption was that maybe the BOGO promotion annoyed her. I know that Starbucks can get hectic with BOGO and happy hour promotions, but I'm not the one who came up with the marketing. I proceeded to pay the remaining balance with my credit card, and I promptly waited for a receipt. She responds with "You can pick up your drink over there -pointing to the pick up counter-" She had asked the guy in front of me if he wanted a receipt, so I thought that maybe she was going to ask me too. Guess not. The drink was extremely watered down, and I was irritated with the experience overall. I understand that she could have been having a bad day, but to single me out was unacceptable. I called corporate to inform them about the incident. They apologized for her behavior, and said that they'll notify the general manager about the incident. Maybe I was being extra for calling corporate, but she needs to know that it's not okay to treat someone like that. I've since went back to the location last month (July 2019) because my sister wanted the new Tie-Dye Frappuccino, and the employees were friendlier. For that, I'll give them a 2 stars. read more

I really do like this Starbucks. It is convenient and the baristas are amazing. What I don't like is how long the line is. I understand that this isn't really the worker's fault but I wish that they will make this store either bigger or make another location (I am aware of the bigger SBUX by JCP) in the mall. And I also wish that they can tell customers NO when all they want is water. Last week, I had ordered a frappuccino, and as I was waiting, this lady that was 2 customers behind me got mad because all she wanted was water, but I got my frappuccino first. Wait, you are not paying for water, yet you deserved to get your order before the paying customers??? I've also seen groups of 5 to 6 young girls, they all stand in line, and they all ordered a venti water, nothing else. Thanks for holding up the line for people that works and pay for their drinks. Whenever I go to Starbucks, I will remember a location when I have a good experience. Because there are so many of them and even now that a lot of them are down-sizing - it's a sign that something is waning off. But when an employee steps behind their green apron and is able to serve customers without being pretentious, it's a nice experience. And no less, she was able to stand by and think I was stupid in her head and not out loud while I decoded grande, venti and tall and figured out my two drink orders. They got me sick! I would give them zero stars if I could. I got a grande iced coffee, with classic sweetener and half & half. About an hour 1/2 after drinking the coffee, I got violently ill while driving. I pulled over, and threw up four times. The only thing I had in my stomach was the coffee drink! We came through Tuesday between 7pm and 7 30pm and the ladies working the shift were impatient with us and refused to stir our drink when asked. She grabbed a big spoon and quickly gave up, scoffing at us while telling us that's all she can do. I'm not sure if they were just excited to help the policemen behind us in line or if they just assumed we were trash since we clearly didnt go to Starbucks every day. As far as Starbucks goes, this is your average fair. Nothing too interesting about this one. It's in the mall, so there is no seating in the store. All the seating is just outside of the store, but it's not necessarily designated for Starbucks customers. Other differences between this Starbucks and your typical neighborhood one are that it's very crowded with the line wrapping over itself when it gets busy, less staff which equates to longer wait times when they're swamped, and no restroom. Another negative about this location is that it's in the older part of the mall with the skylights. This might seem like a nice thing, but that part of the mall is much warmer than the rest of the mall and in the summer that is not a good thing. On the positive side though, they still have free WiFi like other Starbucks locations so if you ever need a data connection while in the mall, there you go. read more

Went to ask for one, a young looked at me like I was crazy and said "no we don't have any". I asked him what happens if one of the workers got a cut and was bleeding. This is as bad as you can get from Starbucks. If I can rate zero, trust me i will. First, it takes forever to get my drink. The girl who made my smoothie doesn't know what she was doing. I stood there and watch her. She didn't put enough ingredients to blend and it comes out only 60% filled on the cup, then she just put extra ice to blend it again. It turns out sucks. Could be better. This is a so-so location to not so great. The location is horrendously busy. Staff seems to change about every six months or so. Most employees are friendly. Some make better drinks than others. I've stopped buying their reusable plastic thermal mugs/cups. Due to the fact you only get about 6 months out of them before they contaminate your drink with plastic. I'm just not a fan of this location. read more

So, today I firstly went to the Starbucks at the Southcenter parkway and got a peach green tea lemonade. (I finished it while shopping around) When I got to the mall, I decided to get a refill because well, it's free. So, when I got there, my cousin asked for a refill too and from my guessing, the cashier was new. (I could tell she was new because I haven't seen her before.) When my cousin got to the cashier and asked for a refill, the cashier that she could only do a refill on iced coffee. (side note: she had a caramel macchiato which was mostly milk, she could barely taste the coffee) I was really confused after that because I thought Starbucks could refill any drink. When it was my turn to get my refill, she was like okay and made me take off the lid and straw which was okay. She then did something on the computer and made me scan my card. (but in the end I didn't have to pay anything because I was a gold member) I was then finished. When I got my drink, I took a sip and was confused because the taste was weird. I then looked at the place where they write the name of the drink and found out that the cashier crossed out the lemonade part WITHOUT telling me! I was pretty disappointed in this because I usually go to this Starbucks. This also kinda tells me that whoever the manager is didn't take time to pick out a good employee.
