Golden Milk Latte is not on the menu...

The guy was not happy working there... The coffee was fine but the menu is boring. Where is this Golden Milk Latte that I was told to try??

Was waiting on my plane to board at the N20 gate. I decided to get a coffee from this spot. It shares a spot with Beechers which is known for cheese. The attendant welcomed me and took my order. They have a few food items and some pastries. I ordered a 16oz. caramel ($1 add on) latte 8.26. It was ready right away. It was hot and foamy. The coffee was actually really good.

    Iced hazelnut oatmilk latte

I got an iced hazelnut oatmilk latte and it was sooooooo good. The hazelnut syrup was really delicious, the espresso was perfect, not bitter. I kind of want to buy another one just cus I got the 12oz and I have a six hour flight but yeah this place is really good. I usually don't like lattes because they're either too sweet, the syrup is gross or the espresso is really bitter but this place is perfect and my latte was perfect. 10/10 I haven't had a good iced latte in a long time. Also the service was good too, they were really quick! I might get another one actually I might get an iced chai.

Shout out to barista, Tai, who was extremely kind, compassionate and had a zest for life. Tai informed me that Caffe Vita fills water bottles up for free WITH ice which was a game changer for me traveling with warm water. There is a section here that carries food and a separate area where the coffee drinks are made. Unfortunately, as of 1/23/24, this entire shop is being reconstructed and I'm unaware of where this shop will move to in the future state. However, when I went, I enjoyed my latte and egg dish. In terms of ambiance, it's really the people and cleanliness of the shop that make it great. In an airport, it's hard to score high in this area.

After getting out of Sea-Tac security, I looked up places to get coffee. Caffe Vita showed up with 4.5 stars on my list, and I made a beeline to Concourse C because whenever I see a highly-rated spot, I'm always like, "How good could this possibly be?" The answer is AMAZING. It lives up to the hype, no matter how much my early morning crankiness wanted to disagree. The coffeeshop is part of Beecher's Handmade Cheese. I ordered a caramel latte with oat milk and a blueberry cornbread muffin. They're impossibly fast... faster than anywhere else I've ever gotten coffee. I thought that would affect quality, but this latte gave me the jolt of energy I needed. And the muffin was fantastic. If you're ever at Sea-Tac, make Caffe Vita a priority!

I make no secret of the fact that I would rather go without coffee than drink burnt Starbucks. Sorry mermaidaholics, it's just not for me. Caffe Vita, on the otherhand, makes a tasty caffeinated beverage that I am willing to pay for while waiting for my next flight at SeaTac. If it weren't for my deliberate search of this coffee nook I would have breezed right by it. It's tucked to the side of a large Beecher's in C-2 and there's also a big pillar that blocks some of it from the concourse view. At first glance, I actually thought it was part of Beecher's. Maybe this was why the line was reasonable... Each time I've stopped in, my oat milk latte was on point. The same barista helped me both times and was very friendly, including checking the ingredients to confirm the chocolate used in their mochas is vegan. I'll definitely be back.

Super high-quality, non-Starbucks coffee option inside terminal C. All terminals are connected past security, so it's easily accessible no matter what gate you are assigned. I had the white chocolate mocha with oat milk and it was perfectly flavored without being overly sweet.

Needed a pick me up for the flight home so I grabbed a lemon-raspberry scone and a hot mocha. The coffee was the right temp and tasted great. Not chalky in the bottom like some mochas can be. The scone was on point as well. This is a quaint coffee shop next to Beechers in the C terminal. Great choice if you are looking from something a little different from the mainstream coffee house brew.

The vibe of this place and the people that make it happen every morning are world class. Life situations kept me from making my way to the shop for a year or so, but when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a "it's been a while!" The coffee is reasonably priced and imo - best in the area. It's consistent and while I'm a sucker for the 12oz cold brew - I've gone off script a few times and have always been pleased. I've got family that comes into town fairly often, and almost every morning they ask to go because they think about it when they're at home in Chicago. There's plenty of seating, tho it's sometimes so bumping (because it's a great spot!) it can be hit or miss if you can stick around and enjoy the vibe. But generally I've had good luck over the years setting up at a table and chatting with friends & fam before a hike, enjoying the morning with my pup doing some socialization training or throwing a few emails around to my corporate overlords. I've seen ads for their evening events and have been wanting to make it to one, but I always seem to see the poster days or weeks after the event! Poetry nights in a space like boon boona seem like an unbeatable vibe, hope to notice & get to one soon. *Parking is also not hard to find at all. There's a free garage down the street at the transit center that is never full, and tons of street parking*

They had a sign up the first day that advertised a rose honey latte special, and I love all of that, so I ordered it large and iced. It was amazing. I like my lattes with flavor, but I also want to be able to take the coffee and get a balance. If my coffee doesn't taste like coffee, it's too sweet. I could taste all the elements here and it's clear they use good, high-quality ingredients. They even topped it with rose petals! One day I strayed and ordered one of their specialty mochas, which I am generally hesitant to order because they're often way too sweet. I saw they use Holy Kakow syrup and know that's pretty good stuff. The mocha was really good, but also over $9 for a large before tip. That's my main complaint about this is that it's expensive. That being said, it's Vashon Island and most everything is super expensive. My large, iced latte is under $8 before tip and that feels more justifiable. This is overall a really cool place to check out with some cool history. The tea selection is absolutely amazing, though I'm too much of a coffee person to try it.

I was feeling a bit worn from my travels so I decided on a Golden Mylk instead of opting for coffee. The Golden Mylk was a perfect blend of spices and creaminess. Very cozy, warm, and the perfect drink for a cloudy day. I also tried the Vashon Fog which was delicious. Not too sweet, and you could taste the tea over the milk, it didn't taste watered down. BEAN BOX: WHERE LIMA BEAN DREAMS BECOME REALITY (DESPITE BEING A COFFEE SHOP)…read more Listen, while others might come here expecting just coffee beans, let me tell you about their REVOLUTIONARY approach to lima bean curation. Their selection of these flat, buttery legumes is so extensive it makes other coffee shops look like they're not even trying in the lima bean department (which, to be fair, they're not, because they're coffee shops). Their premium Giant White Lima collection (displayed with the reverence usually reserved for rare coffee beans) is housed in custom-made glass jars that make other beans question their life choices. Each lima bean is positioned to catch the morning light like tiny, kidney-shaped supermodels. You haven't lived until you've seen their Christmas Lima Bean display (completely overshadowing their holiday coffee blends). The variegated patterns on these heirloom limas tell a story that makes their single-origin Ethiopian beans seem downright chatty at parties. The rare Fordhook Lima section (inexplicably placed next to their pour-over station) features beans so perfectly formed that customers often mistake them for small sculptures. I once saw someone try to order a lima bean latte. The barista's confusion was palpable, but their lima bean organization remained impeccable. Their rotating seasonal lima bean exhibit (which takes up prime real estate that could be used for, oh, I don't know, COFFEE) includes varieties like the Baby Lima, Henderson Bush, and the elusive King of the Garden Lima. Each one is labeled with tasting notes, as if someone's going to conduct a lima bean cupping session. Five stars for their commitment to showcasing these underappreciated legumes in a space clearly designed for coffee retail. I've started a weekly lima bean appreciation club where we gather to admire their collection while confused coffee customers try to order lattes around us. P.S. I heard someone suggest they should focus more on coffee beans, and the lima bean display case audibly gasped. P.P.S. Their limited edition Jackson Wonder Lima beans are stored in a climate-controlled case that probably cost more than most cars. The security system seems excessive, but who am I to question lima bean protection protocols? Note: This review was written while contemplating the bold choice of dedicating so much space to lima beans in a coffee shop on 1st Avenue South. The courage. The vision. The complete disregard for traditional coffee shop inventory expectations. Special Addendum: To the customer who asked why there were lima beans in the coffee grinder - you clearly don't understand the ARTISTRY of cross-legume innovation. Final Thought: Sure, they might technically be a "coffee shop," but their lima bean game is stronger than a triple shot espresso. It's like they misread "coffee house" as "legume palace" and just ran with it. Remember: Coffee beans may come and go, but lima beans are forever. Or at least until someone finally explains to them what kind of beans coffee shops typically sell. P.P.P.S. Their new "Lima Bean of the Month" subscription service is revolutionary, even if it's causing significant confusion among their coffee subscribers.
