Wife loved the coffee and I had a great sandwich and chocolate milk. Much cheaper than the restaurant at the hotel and friendly service.

I saw a few posters for this in Terminal D and the Filipino flavors were what got me! The perfect…read morespot to grab a bite to eat before a flight, especially if you're in need of a coffee fix and the Starbucks line is insane. Unlike Starbucks, they actually have legit ube flavor (and other Filipino flavors like pandan and turon) for their drinks. I got an ube matcha (super delish, tho in the future I'd ask for less sweet) and a spam musubi (wrapped in plastic wrap, which makes it the perfect airport snack to eat without having to touch it with your hands). It's a little out of the way tucked near Gate 21, but I'd definitely take the short detour if you have the time for some yummy treats!

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #109…read more I was not expecting much out of Neighborhood Bubble Tea and Cafe - Boba in an airport in the US? No way it could be any good! But on a recent trip to Nashville, we decided to trudge all the way over from the A-gates to give this place a try. This shop is tucked away in the side arm of the D-gate area, making it much less crowded than the main walkway in the terminal. There are two ways to order - firstly via the kiosk (no line when we visited) and secondly in person (a line of 5 or 6 people). Black Milk Tea w/ Boba ($8) - I ordered via kiosk to save time and totally blanked on the fact that it doesn't allow ice or sugar level adjustments. Just as I went to pick up the drink about 5 minutes after my order, I thought about this fact and started worrying about the sugar levels. At 100% sweet, I typically find most other boba shops cloyingly sweet. This place, fortunately, uses cane sugar, so the sweetness is more mellow and not as grating. Even at full sweetness, while a little too much for my palette, isn't harsh or overwhelming. The drink comes with whole milk by default. Unlike other more premium shops that only add a splash of milk on top, this one seems to be more like 50/50 tea vs. milk. This adds a bunch of richness to the drink, but also increases the dairy flavor quite a bit, which combined with the sugar overpowers the tea a little. There's still some of the malty and somewhat fruity notes towards the end of the sip. They add a ton of ice. That's something I will definitely be asking for adjustment on in the future. The boba isn't bad at all. There are some issues with consistency in terms of size and due to that, texture. They are soaked in brown sugar syrup, giving a soft and velvety texture on the exterior. The smaller pearls are chewy throughout, while the larger pearls are a bit too firm and grainy towards the center. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 I was really surprised by the quality of the drink I received. Honestly, before visiting, I thought this would be more of a 2 star kind of place! They also serve some really intriguing Filipino snacks that I'd love to come back to try out.

I got the Sodo Breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, arugula, tomato and cayenne aioli (not overly spicy) with a side of cheddar grits like many reviews recommended! The grits of course were the star of the show! They came out pipping hot, very creamy with a little bit of chives on top! My husband loved them too and ended up eating half. The sandwich was also very good with the right amount of aioli and tons of fresh arugula. The bread was nice and soft and let's just say there was nothing left on my plate when I was done. I even convinced my husband to join me and order something. He was very skeptical that there was no meat, but thanks to the yelpers I knew exactly what to recommend that would meet his taste (and bonus...I really wanted to try lol). He got the fresh baked, made daily cinnamon roll! That baby came out hot, smelling amazing, and full of cream cheese icing!!! He devoured it and so did I! His vote for best item went to the grits but I tend to lean more toward the cinnamon roll! Service was surprisingly fast so if we had less time this wouldn't have been a terrible option to stop and still make our flight! The servers were also super sweet, one even offered to refill my water bottle since I was heading out. Honestly tempted to go back for lunch.... lol

This location has become my go-to for a drink with a lot of texture - love all the toppings. The…read moretea here just reminds me of the boba I used to get in middle and high school, so nostalgic. Nothing fancy, basic yet delicious. I can always count on A6 or A9 Milk Tea with Pearl, Coffee Jelly and/or QQ noodle. Treasure Taro Milk Tea with Pudding is a recent favorite - jasmine green milk tea works well with fresh taro paste (not too thick) and pudding. If I want something refreshing on a hot day, I'd go with Wintermelon Tie Guanyin or Osmanthus 4 Season. If not super crowded, drinks come pretty fast. It gets busy on the weekend, during which parking can be frustrating.

TP TEA @ SOUTHCENTER…read more Parking is available, but there honestly aren't that many spots probably around 5-6 dedicated spaces. The rest are shared with nearby businesses like AT&T, and it was surprisingly packed for a Thursday afternoon. Luckily, we found one spot all the way in the back under AT&T, but I do wish there was more parking available or a larger lot. Getting there from the freeway is pretty easy though, you basically just make a quick right turn straight into TP Tea, but it can be easy to miss if you're not paying attention. I've been to this boba shop before in San Diego, so when I saw a location in Washington, I knew I had to bring my dad. I ordered the lychee fruit tea, and he got the mango tea with light ice and added boba. One downside is that this location doesn't allow substitutions like the San Diego one does, I usually swap lychee jelly for boba at no extra cost, but here they charge extra. The service wasn't the best. When we walked in, the staff didn't seem very welcoming and mostly just looked at us. There was only one self-order kiosk, and a couple was taking a while on it (which is totally fine), but the employees didn't step in to help take orders either. It felt a bit inconvenient since we were just waiting to see if anyone would help us, but eventually they did take our order. The drinks themselves were pretty good. My dad's mango tea ended up being more icy than expected even though we asked for light ice, I think it's because it's a blended drink, so the consistency was thinner rather than thicker. My lychee tea was really good though, I'd definitely recommend it. Even at 50% sweetness, it leaned on the sweeter side, but still very enjoyable. The ambiance is nice, the space is big with plenty of seating, and there's a steady flow of people coming in and out. Overall, it's still a solid spot to check out. Just be prepared for limited parking and slightly inconsistent service.
