It was so delicious that I had to come back the very next day to order it again. The French toast, sausage, bacon, and egg bagel sandwich was recommended as a favorite by the barista. This was an amazing cuppa coffee (Americano). I went back to try a shot of espresso, just to see what the difference was with cream and just straight espresso by itself. The espresso shot was really good. From an ambience perspective, it's very industrial, contemporary. It is in the lobby of the interurban hotel, and there is a fair amount of traffic that comes and goes through the coffee shop. So, if you're in the area of the Southcenter / Tukwila/ airport, and want a quality coffee shop, that's relatively easy to get in and out of, with a good amount of parking, stop by this place. Today however, I was desperate for some good coffee while on my way home. The kiosk itself is really cute, and I really enjoyed the dog theme and decor. All the drinks are named after types of dogs as well. As an animal rescuer myself, I felt right at home. I personally drove in, but I did see that this kiosk was adapted to also take up walk-up customers which is great. I was greeted as soon as I pulled up, and I could tell the barista was genuinely happy to be there. I always greet baristas with a smile on my face, but sometimes you can tell the employees don't want to be there, and try to rush you through your order. But this was not the case. The small talk was pleasant, never forced, and not invasive either. She was super helpful and pleasant, and with the customer service I received at this location alone would make me want to return. The drink itself was really yummy - I drink a lot of coffee and frequent a lot of coffee shops, and my one pet peeve is when the menu says it's flavored a certain way but it's not obvious when you taste it. And here I tasted the red velvet! Yet somehow it was not overly sweet. I think what would have made this a five-star location for me would have been if they had a rotating seasonal menu with several options to choose from. Normally, I go to Bigfoot Java specifically because I know every month I'll have three different seasonal drinks. (But their customer service is never consistent) I also ordered three cinnamon rolls which the barista kindly offered to warm for me and my kiddos. They were so delicious, and perfectly doughy. Anyway, I came to an empty but very chill interior with several tables and window seating, along with some semi-quiet VPop playing near the front counter to the right-hand side of the entrance. There's a small flower display along with the cafe logo a little to the back which is perfect to take photo ops with your drink and food like I did. The menu is above the front counter and - as their logo says - they specialize in banh mi and coffee, though they have some matcha and soup options among others. Staff at the front were very quick at making my coffee as I was the only one inside. I got their 16oz egg coffee, which is one of their best sellers according to the asterisk on their menu next to the name of the drink. Very strong phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee along with condensed milk and an egg foam that gave a sweet, creamy taste to the already bitter coffee at the bottom. Drinking the egg foam first, it's a nice, thick custard-like format that the coffee does not overtake, which is good since other places I've had don't have that kind of balance. My next trip back here will have to be for another one of their coffee drinks and their banh mi sandwiches as well. I can already hear my friend telling me to get one right now as I'm writing this up!
