    Strawberry Smoothie with Boba

The Renton location don't have any food, just drinks only. The service is good. The Boba shop are inside Renton Uwajinaya grocery store.

    New 2022 menu!

Bubble tea is still bae and Oasis seems to have updated their menu recently to include more drink and topping options! They also replaced their old handwritten/printed patchwork menu and it is very clear and easy to read now. Quality continues to stay consistently high and the only downside is that they seem to be shortstaffed, so lines and wait times can get gnarly. But they are hiring! Considering how overwhelming keeping orders flowing quickly and accurately can be, the staff are very well trained and do a great job accommodating the situation. Just be patient with them or order ahead online and do pick up - you can skip the line!

Conveniently located in uwajimaya, but typically there is one person working the stand by themselves so during busy / rush times, wait times can be a little longer than usual. Make sure you read the signs bc hot drinks are seasonal and some days they do not have avocado drinks (if that's your thing). Typically if I'm tired from grocery shopping this is my go to spot if I'm feeling some boba. They do have coffee jelly as a topping which is kinda cool bc not all boba tea places have this. Toppings are additional $0.50. Today I got HK milk tea which is the royal milk tea plus coffee, but some days I just get the Royal milk tea which is bomb - depends on how I'm feeling. Door dash also picks up at this oasis which is kinda cool. They have options like sea salt as well. I have yet to try it! The guy who was working today was seriously grinding, I felt bad. Line was growing and he had no help. Make sure you tip these hard working peeps!

Jasmine Milk Tea with grass jelly

Another average bubble tea shop that left me unsatisfied. There were a lot of options on the menu, but hard to tell the difference with each one. For example, there was "Snow" that the cashier said was blended with ice, but isn't "Slushy" also blended with ice? So what's the difference. I ended up getting the Jasmine Milk Tea ($4.50) with grass jelly (.75) with 50% sweetness, but everything just tasted pretty plain. At other shops I've been to, even 25% sweetness is the perfect sweetness for me and tastes exactly how I like it, but this one was just really bland. I could slightly taste the jasmine tea flavor, but other than that, it was so plain. They were pretty short-staffed as there was only one person working, so I had to wait a while for him to finish making all the other orders before getting to me. I'm still on a search for more bubble tea shops around the Seattle area and I'm glad I at least tried it, but I probably won't be coming back here.

    Royal Milk Tea

Has the quality gone downhill since last year or so? I've gone back after a while and when I got my usual, immediately the color of the drink looked watery and pale compared to the opaqueness it had. The drink overall was pretty bland and I'm quite disappointed

    Thai Tea Milk Tea

The food looks good, but I didn't purchase any food items. I only bought Milk Tea. The service was good. The ambiance is a Milk Tea inside Uwajimaya grocery store.

    "Thai Oreo snow"

Let me start with I loveee oasis... though I didn't like my order today :( I ordered a Thai Oreo snow and got this monstrosity handed to me. She made extra and just handed me both cups. It's usually supposed to be a bright orange and not this brown drink I was handed. I tried it thinking the girl working had just messed up and blended everything together but it was over sweet and just not good at all... over all really disappointed because I love oasis... too embarrassed to ask for a remake cause she had a lot of customers. But yeah super disappointed and not happy

This is in Uwajimaya. It is a small kiosk, the taro tea with oak milk and egg pudding was good. Service was a bit slow, but it is a small kiosk.

    Loving the new cup design!

The past two times I've been here during COVID, I've noticed the service and quality of bubble tea have greatly improved! The staff are so friendly and the boba tastes so good!!!!! Definitely needed during this unprecedented time! I'll always come back when I need bubble tea!

This was a delicious stop on our errands to Uwajimaya! They are doing a great job of maintaining social distancing, and they have a wide variety of flavors. I would come here again.

Got the honeydew snow, had no flavor. It's usually good, so I was very disappointed about this. The mango snow was way too sweet.

The employees that work there are fine however, the owner seems to NOT appreciate customers as he was rather rude and uninviting.

My first time around, I got the lilikoi pog with li hing mui and vanilla ice cream. AMAZING. It was sweet but not too sweet, a little tangy, good portion for 1-2 people, and balanced by the mochi and fresh strawberries. I loved it so much I got it again my second time around just without the vanilla ice cream. If you're getting Mike's for the first time, 100% get this and li hing mui is a must. My cousin got the calamansi mango sago which was also pretty good but not our favorite. The calamansi came thru much stronger than the mango which I liked but know isn't for everyone. The sago and coconut flakes gave it a pleasant earthiness/nuttiness. I probably wouldn't get it again, but I'm still glad we tried it. Service: (5/5) Everything here is made to order so just know that there will be a wait. Event after a supperrrr long line, the team was still really friendly and accommodating. Literally nothing but praise and love for this business.

When I was walking around the Saturday market in South Lake Union, I was looking for a quick and…read moreeasy dessert. I thought I was going to get like a small cup of ice cream or a churro or something. That's when I noticed this pretty large line outside this popup called Mike's Shaved Ice - which I thought was odd because none of the other dessert places nearby had any line at all. Was this place really that good that people were willing to wait 20-30 minutes when they could get something else for another place for free? Turns out, yes, it is This might take the cake as the best dessert I've had in Seattle My goodness, this was good I think I've had shaved ice before at some point, and I recently had a snow cone, which is somewhat similar, but nothing could have prepared me for how incredibly good this tasted. I got 3 flavors - pineapple, blue vanilla, and orange dream, and each bite had so much sweet, juicy, just-absolutely-perfect flavor that it was bursting in my mouth. When I took my first bite, I was in awe at how amazing that was. The ice was shaved so thin you couldn't even really feel the individual crystals at all. After taking a bite, it lasts a few second and melts away into your tongue, leaving nothing but that amazing syrup poured on top of the ice. It was truly a magical experience Picture this - you're scooping away, encountering zero resistance at all, and each bite can be one of 3 diverse but incredible flavors. Also, this thing is pretty damn big as well I've gotten this far without even talking about the vanilla ice cream inside. It seemed to normally be a topping, but I got mine inside because reasons? I'm not complaining at all though, because after you get to the ice cream, a lot of the shaved ice is melted, so you're kind of just eating the ice cream with the flavored syrup, which is also a fantastic experience. If I ever get the chance, I would like to try it with the ice cream on top, however This is slightly expensive for ice cream, but well within reason when you see how much you get.

If you're craving some bingsoo, make the trek to Bellevue if possible. This store is shared with Xi'an Noodles with a shared restroom and wifi available. Located in the Belgate plaza, there is plenty of parking. Mixed Berry Bingsoo - my favorite bingsoo because the berries are packed with flavor, sweet, and enhance the dessert. With a mix of sweetness, tartness, and acidity, the bingsoo has balance and the contrast actually helps each flavor shine. The berry juices even add flavor to the bingsoo below (and there are berries at the bottom). The only mediocre aspect is the whipped cream on top which is just whatever. Taro Bingsoo - the menu has alternated between ube ice cream and taro ice cream but I think it's always been taro ice cream because it's not overly sweet. Red bean is also sweet but after devouring the toppings (including the ice cream), the bingsoo itself doesn't offer much. It's sweet shaved milk with condensed milk but the taro flavor isn't as potent.

The mango is sweet, ripe, and fresh, not frozen, and the flavor is even throughout the whole dessert. Some shave ice or bingsu places get bland as you go down and it starts tasting like plain ice, but Snowy Village does a great job keeping the sweetness consistent. It was very busy after the dinner rush, and seating was limited. People were waiting for tables, and there were only two staff members working, so they were rushing around a lot. This was my first time at this location of Snowy Village, and it's been years since I've visited any of the others because IMO the quality has dropped off since the U District days. 1) We walked in and the smell was rancid. Smelled like bad milk, bad/sharp cheese, mixed with hot dairy and chemical cleaning products. So unpleasant we had to cover our noses with our shirts the entire time, and my sister even had to step outside to breathe. 2) There was only one employee working and drowning in orders when we came in at 9pm. Understandably close to closing time. Self-ordering kiosk was doing half the work. The employee didn't greet anyone walking in and only spoke to call out the names of the orders. 3) We finally got our order. Strawberry and Taro bingsoos with extra condensed milk, and a taiyaki trio. The taiyaki dough had unfortunately gone bad. We all tasted small pieces because we couldn't believe it, and it was true. It smelled okay, but the aftertaste was strongly bitter/sour and chemically. 4) I flagged down the employee to let them know that the dough had gone bad. He just said "ok do you want a refund?" I kindly said that would be appreciated, and he said "ok" grabbed the box, and went back to work. I was confused and had no idea if I was supposed to do anything next. Im used to refunds being processed on the spot and having to sometimes provide my card again. I waited a few minutes and flagged him down again to ask him if I needed to do anything, and without moving from the kitchen, he said no he'll find my order and I'll get the refund. 5) We poured the extra condensed milk all over our bingsoo, but then realized that there was hardened condensed milk at the bottom of the little cup that it came in. This only happens when the condensed milk is left out. When tasting it by itself, we realized the condensed milk was spoiled too :( I know working in understaffed environments is hard. Most likely, he was leaving things out because orders were back to back and he didn't have time. So I leave this review in hopes that management schedules more people, and improves their processes for food handling safety. Also, I'm disappointed to see so many business taking the humanity out of customer service. Self serve kiosks are replacing workers who can answer questions, provide recommendations, and represent the company in a warm way. Companies should invest in humanity again. As of now I don't see any refund for the taiyaki. I am hoping the whole order is refunded due to the condensed milk too. Order #24 on Wednesday 5/20 approximately 9PM.
