Just wanted to explain my experience at this locations I had today. I have never had a issue really with any Starbucks in AZ or CA because I've ordered a lot in both states. Today 11-16-22 I ordered in the morning around 530am and my order was taken on my app. The app said 545am pick up and I picked the in-store pickup to not wait in line if long. So I get to the location and no line or anyone in the store. So I decide to drive up to window and to pick up order, no line or people inside at all. I see 3 girls at the window, 2 facing me and 1 has her back to me. I know they see me but none help me. I wait a bit then they decide to help me. I say, I placed a order but I picked in store but I saw no line and decided to use the drive up. The girl responded, I saw you drive by but you didn't order or stop. I say, ya I know I preordered on my phone and I saw no line so I just used drive up instead of inside pick up. The girl takes a breath and explains, you didn't stop and order or stop to say your on way so I didn't know your coming to window. I say, I know like you said I drove by but I already ordered. She again tells me the same thing that I didn't stop and order anything so we had no clue your coming or ordered anything. I said, ya I ordered online and my order is right there and I came to window instead cause I don't see anyone in store or line. She repeats to me again the same thing and then just says, next time stop and place a order so I know your coming to window. I say, ok but I did order and I'm missing my banana nut bread in my order by the way. She says, someone took it. I ask, so is there any left. She responded yes but someone took yours so let me make you one. I tell her, just give it to me cold and in the bag cause I have to leave. She does but says once more, next time stop and order or say something. I say ok, sorry and I'll order in line I guess ‍ then I leave. I normally get this really nice girl I've always had a great experience with and a great smile . Make my day a lil better before or during work days This time it was pretty weird and I went to work pretty bummed out I still recommend but maybe have a better attitude at the window. I'm honored to say that for my 200th check in at this location, I had my favorite, final coffee prior to giving up coffee for lent 2021. I ordered a grande, hot flat white. It had the perfect amount of milk frothy goodness and it hit the spot on a cold evening. Yes, sometimes the baristas get overwhelmed and mess up an order but they are only human. We make mistakes and learn from them. If you respectfully ask your barista to remake your drink, they will happily do so. One reason why I keep coming back. This place is always so packed with cars going to the drive-through. Since the Starbucks it's only drive-through right now. So that wait can be a little bit longer just because they are not doing anything inside. So if you plan to go to the Starbucks here just make sure you give yourself enough time. They always seem to get my order right which is super nice. The barista's are super friendly. And I know they are trying their best with how busy they probably get. I hope one day they can up inside again, it would make the wait less for me since I only order through the app for the most part. And it makes it pointless to do that if you have to wait in line with everybody else. But it is what it is. read more

Really nice place, minus the dismissive attitude by some employees. Thought I was being courteous, informing "Dessy?" That the men's bathroom needed paper towels, the trash cans we're at max capacity and coffee was spilled on floors. In one ear, out the other. Every person going through the drive through received their orders while at least 15 people in the store started complaining about the wait. One person said they gave been waiting over 20 min. When I asked if they received my order and how much longer, the barista Tara said we are busy you don't have to be a dick about it. I literally just asked, not even rudely. So then I spoke up. This place has terrible customer service. If it's not one thing it's another. I came in recently with a group of people and patiently waiting for someone to come to the register because I find it rude to just walk up and expect someone to take my order but I should have just done that considering ALL the employees had us waiting to take our order. NONE of the workers greeted any of us and ALL of them just stared, literally. Not kidding. I swear I made eye contact with the manager and there was even a man at the register and I had to get right in front of the register for this man to notice and even then he said nothing. I was elated when I first learned we were getting a Starbucks close to home. I was even happier when I discovered the Mobile ordering app and could affectively shave 20 minutes out of my morning. However, my recent experiences have been horrible. Between incorrect mobile orders, less than full cups, being lied to by employees in regards to preparation of my order and now lukewarm drinks... I just can't take it anymore. I've tried to call and speak to a manager but every time that I make an attempt, I'm forwarded to a voicemail box that has not yet been set up. I order from this location 6 days a weeks. Last week, I had to make a second stop and a different location because the drink I received was completely incorrect. I later stopped in that afternoon and received a refund. I love the mobile app and wish that I could continue to use it at this location but the quality of service and product is not representative of my past experiences with Starbucks. Horrible customer service from a barista today. This is not my usual store. I get a venti double shot on ice, every store makes it the same except for this one apparently. When I told the barista it wasn't what I like she snatched it from my hand walking away saying "I will remake it for you"- thankful for that of course. As I was attempting to explain how it usually is showing her the picture on the mobile app; she responds with attitude "I'll try to make it like the picture" there is nothing fancy looking about my drink. I get they are busy but if I'm trying to explain to you what I want you can stop and listen. Requested to speak with manager- got a shift lead who said was listening to the interaction basically saying it was my fault because that's how they make that drink. I'm actually writing this review because the barista I encountered here tonight was very friendly but unfortunately that has not always been the case. There are a lot of people out there who refuse to go to Starbucks for so many reasons nowadays, but alas, here I am at Starbucks. When I have time to go to local coffee shops I will, but when I don't have time, this is the closest thing on my way to work that has a drive-thru. I was so excited to finally see a full Starbucks store on the south end of town. Unfortunately a few of the first times I went here I was greeted by many rude baristas and it was usually in the morning or afternoon. Rude meaning, never smiling, never greeting you (upon entrance or departure), and on a couple of occasions I've even heard them speaking poorly about their customers (myself included) and criticized what people order. If a barista from this store is looking at this review, really? How awful of a person are you if you are literally speaking badly about a customer as they're standing at the bar right in front of you? I'm sorry if the baristas here get bored of making the classics over and over again, but sometimes they are the first people a customer sees when their day starts, so the least they could do is show good customer service. The reason I bumped the stars up on this review is because recently others have started working here and the atmosphere has changed. The baristas that work here now are friendly and helpful. This location in particular has WiFi, outdoor seating, and a nice indoor area full of open space. Side note though, every time I have sat inside I've been greeted by a dirty table no matter what time of the day it is.
