Yes this location usually takes FOR EVER! Usually I wait...it is what it is. This time we were the first in line. I asked for an iced London Fog. It took the barista a bit to get to us but no biggie. When she comes she asked if I wanted a different drink that she had already made instead...because it would take her 5 minutes to brew the tea. But this one was ready to go... Nope, if I would've wanted something else I would've ordered it. She seemed bothered that I wanted what I paid for. Of course when I got the drink it wasn't made right but whatever I just left. I am a longtime Starbucks custom and have visited multiple sites across the US over the years , I stopped in to this site this AM to get a hot brew and use the site connectivity. Expecting the best I had become accustom to, I unfortunately experienced more of the worst in a possible shop visit. Coming in to the shop, no warmth in any kind of a greeting, I had to wait for a barista to help me (was first in line at the counter). I typically am a simple order guy, tall coffee with cream .. simple right ? 9 out of 10 times the barista says let me get that poured up for you .. and seconds later I have a hot cupper. Not so here .. It took nearly 5 minutes to get my simple order I got a cool cup :( No "thank you", no attempt to get to know me at all (very cold setting) I was Just another face asking for business and interrupting a busy drive up Customers who ordered had to wait .. too long Saw a mobile order customer come in and get "no order" which in watching took on a trend, saw multiple orders done incorrectly and the waiting queue continued :( What comes to my mind as I watch the workers here "the old video of Who is on 1st?" Watching the crew they seem to be disinterested in customers on the whole (there were a couple of team members who were there because they truly wanted to be), on a 1-10 have to sadly offer up a 3 here .. needs attention and leadership with a passion and vision. Was just there at 7:20 am and I find a sign in the drive thru window saying they've "adjusted" their time's to 1 pm - 10 pm. Ridiculous. They should block the drive thru because their signs are lit up like you can order, so you sit there waiting for someone to talk to you. Arrived and placed order by 3:56 pm and my ONE grande drink was not ready until 4:18. Had one barrista ask me what my name was after seeing me stand there for 14 minutes and it wasn't ready for another 8 minutes after that, she let me know my drink was in the queue they just had other orders ahead of me. There was two other people that ordered after me and even they got their drink(s) before me. I was just about ready to ask for a refund because they took 20 mins out of my commute to work when they told me they were working on my drink and it would be ready with in the next minutes. It's honestly ridiculous that I had to wait even 15 minutes for one drink to be made I understand they might have online orders and what not but the fact that others placed an order in person after me and received them before me is crazy. Obviously their system needs work or new employees at this point cause there was 6 people back there. I really enjoy this Starbucks. They always get my drink right. They always get friendly service. And it's a very convenient location for me personally too. It's right next to all my shopping locations if I need a quick delicious drink. I'll come through this location because I can get my drink before I start shopping and have something to walk around with and enjoy. Because honestly, who wouldn't want something delicious to drink while shopping. Yes l will have to admit it's much longer to go through the drive through. So if you are in a time crunch probably not suggested. I'd always order through the app at that point. I like how they have both options. You can go inside and order or through DT. If you want order on the app walk inside and get the drink quick. I've personally tried a bunch of coffee shops and I always just come back to Starbucks. There's nothing that beats it. I am not Starbucks-prone, preferring my coffee from either Espresso Art on University or Coffee Times on Speedway. But I cannot always get to the midtown area, so this is where I end up sometimes. I have had terrible experiences with Starbucks in the past. The coffee. Not the employees or the ambiance. But the folks at this particular location know how to make an iced latte! And the place is comfortable. And likely because of its close proximity to Pima Community College and being that it is one of very few cafes on this side of town (right off the interstate, too) it is often busy. But it has a decent amount of seating, even a few lounge chair/sofas. Also, nice floor to ceiling-windows that are south-facing make for a nice amount of natural light. Otherwise, it's your standard Starbucks. They do sell little sandwiches and salads here. The croissants are pretty good -- large and buttery, as they should be. The music is usually at a mellow volume and is Starbucks-typical: Jazz and neosoul lots of times. And free wi-fi! That's always a strong draw. read more

Another customer service fail today...I came thru on a Sunday morning around 11am to treat my auntie to a coffee and breakfast sandwhich as she was arriving from a long, overnight drive from Mexico. We walked into the establishment because the drive thru line was super long as usual. We walked up to the counter to order and weren't acknowledged for 3-5 minutes. Once we placed our order and stepped aside to wait, I observed a young man walk in with his young son. They stepped up to order and was immediately acknowledged by a barista that previously ignored me. They make you wait as they check, at every other Starbucks it takes a minute, here it takes a few. Besides that, most of the time the order is correct and the workers are alright. Eh merry xmas first off.. it sucks this is the only Starbucks in this area. We come to this one when we are in town visiting family. Every time they seem to mess up our order. It's really not that hard I have huge issues with stores that can't do and make something so damn simple. So we did a mobile order ... and our drinks were wrong but they were right on our order on the phone(I took a picture of our order). My iced coffee had no classic no vanilla just cream and coffee when tho the little sticker had the right order.. along with my husbands drink he had a cinnamon dolce no whip and literally it was all milk.. I get this store is busy and the only one but still follow simple instructions . it's not that difficult to make a drink when it tells you how they want it made. Sucks because we will still have to continue coming to the Starbucks every time we come to town. I just hope their staff gets better and knows how to read and listen when it comes to making a drink. read more

Fast friendly service. I got my protein box, iced tea and was out the door quickly which is exactly what I wanted. The only issue I had was with the amount of ice in the drink. By the time it was made there was just a little bit in the top. That's not how an iced tea is supposed to be. Plus, I was driving back to Phoenix which means the ice was going to melt quickly in the car. I asked the barista to pour out some of the drink and add more ice which he did. I understand customer service however I'm standing there at the drink station waiting for somebody to look at me and notice I'm trying to tell somebody something and nobody pays me any mind. Didn't get the name of the guy who helped me but he had an attitude right from the start. Their location was out of every drink I asked for. No Nitro cold brew with cream or even without cream. I even asked for this Valentines Day type of drink I saw on Facebook that had like strawberry and chocolate taste and before I could even explain he said "we didn't do anything for Valentine's Day here so not sure where you got that from" (as he slapped the register screen with his hand as if he was annoyed with my request). When my drink was made iced instead of hot, the barista said go ahead and drink the iced one while I re-make your drink correctly, and when I tried the iced version, I loved it and told him that there was no need to remake the drink. Menu wise you know what you're going to get but with me, I order the same thing- hot peppermint mocha and a plain bagel, toasted WITH BUTTER. 80% of my orders are mobile orders and they still get the butter wrong and give me cream cheese. Some mornings, it is okay because I'm going back home but most morning I'm on the go and to have to return to their site for BUTTER is an inconvenience. I've ordered from other Starbucks throughout town and they never have an issue, not sure if this one is just understaffed and so busy they're unable to follow WRITTEN instructions. When asked at drive threw was told was left on because it helps with revenue. First, I will start out saying that what I'm writing here reflects my views of most Starbucks locations that I visit however, in all fairness to the establishment I won't say they're all like this. Consistently inconsistent due to time of day, location, and barista I feel. I come here quite often as it's not outside my normal circle of travel. I decided to go with two stars on the rating because I'm not really happy with my drinks here. I feel like the only time my order is correct, is at night when it's slow. I've noticed that the barista's will intentionally make my order wrong if I've ordered something they don't agree with or they feel they are pressed for time. My drink usually isn't filled to the top either. So not only is my drink wrong but it's less than what I've paid for as well. On many occasions I've had to argue to get my drink remade. Strange considering "The barista promise" advertised on their cups. All in all the people are mostly friendly but their service and attention to detail lacks. I don't mind waiting for good quality service and a correct order but I get really frustrated with the opposite and an excuse attached. Sadly, I've come to expect my order to be wrong at this location. As we all know, it's easy to see our orders being made from the drive thru in any standard size vehicle or while standing inside, my accusations of my drink being incorrect don't come from me guessing. Let's not forget my taste buds know too. I don't want this to be all bad so I will end with this- the location has great customer and is extremely clean. About three days ago they did give me two free drinks because I forgot my wallet and the Starbucks app wasn't working properly for me to pay using my phone. Thank you for that. read more

Going inside to get your drink takes at least 15-20 minutes and the drive-thru is literally a 30-40 minute ordeal. It's ridiculous. Not once has an employee apologized for the long wait. It's the closest location to work so I constantly find myself there and constantly find myself regretting that decision. They have the slowest and most aloof baristas. It takes an average of 20 minutes to get through the drive thru with about 2 vehicles ahead. 11 times of of 10 they would have run out of an item and you'd be lucky to find that out before you get to the window. Now you're responsible for the poor people in line while you frantically scramble to decide on your items replacement. Avoid this place if you can. read more
