Wow this Starbucks deals with a LOT of people. For me, it's the main stop if I don't want to (or can't wait to) stop in Salinas. The line for the bathroom is usually as long or longer than the drink line (I've even accidentally stood in the bathroom line for a while before finding out I was in the wrong place). The drinks I've had here have always been great, I just have to give 3 stars because of the atmosphere (which isn't the staff's fault). A lot of times, my quick caffeination breaks become 20 minute stops, which is less than ideal on a road trip. I'd probably say stick with the drive thru if you can-that usually gets prioritized. My daughter and I went in and ordered 3 drinks. After we got there and while we were waiting for our drinks there was a busy rush of people. They didn't make my daughters drink, but we got the 2 other drinks. After 20 minutes, they made her drink and it was a strawberry Frappuccino. I asked them to please blend it because she didn't like the strawberry syrup on the bottom. meanwhile everyone who walked in after me has gotten their drinks. I was patient. I understand they were busy. But Melissa, who was wearing Hannah's name tag told me I'm going to have to wait 5 or more minutes. I said I've been waiting here patiently before all of these people and she said too bad you're going to have to freakin wait. I can't believe how rudely I was treated. Especially after waiting there for so long for my drink they forgot to make. Not cool! Not cool at all! If you're going to work at Starbucks, Melissa, you should have good customer service skills. I have worked in customer service for 20 years and I would never speak to someone like you spoke to me. I understand that it got busy, but I was standing there very patiently for a very long time. Had to wait for 15 minutes there wasn't a long line at the drive thru. ( Diana) the one in charge of the drive thru got our order wrong then gave us attitude just started arguing that I had asked for 3 drinks when I just asked for 2..kept on saying that I was wrong that that's what I had asked for and didn't want to remove the 3 drink from my order and gave us a stank face really bad service don't recommend at all .. this person Diana is a horrible worker read more

The product was fine, but the customer service was abhorrent (several workers behind the counter chatting it up while a line of six was forming...none of which bothered looking up and simply acknowledging that people were waiting...one employee became hostile when I mentioned the very unsanitary looking bathroom and told me to "go to a gas station". ) I've never had such a bad experience with a Starbucks. read more

Typical starbucks, but with a drive through option. We went inside as the drive through line was too long. But once inside, it wasn' t much better. It took 10 minutes to get my mocha frap because the baristas were filling both drive through and in person orders. read more

We came through the drive through around 630 pm on Sunday December 18. The espresso was delicious and creamy, my drink was perfectly crafted. Definitely the best Starbucks experience I've had. Thanks to the guy with calm voice and glasses (?!) for the tasty beverages. read more

Getting drinks from here is either a hit or miss. ThIs location is busy at times (especially on sundays ) so I understand the wait time, but sometimes my drinks plain suck. Worst Starbucks that I have ever been too. Baristas had a "deer in the headlights" look when we ordered a blond pour over. When someone finally understood what we were talking about, they said they ran out, also out of the egg and bacon sandwich. Stopped here on a trip from Socal. What this place has going for it is a convenient location right off of the freeway. The service was extremely slow inside, probably due to the long line of cars in the drive through. Drink orders did not seem to be filled in the order they were taken, so there were some confused and irritated customers. On my stop, restrooms were filthy. As a person who drinks Starbucks frequently, I have come to know the company as very customer service oriented and reasonable. However, this Starbucks location has severely shifted my view on the Starbucks name. My mother and I ordered our usual Starbucks drinks greeted by a friendly drive thru worker. After leaving the Starbucks, my mother quickly realized that her drink was the completely different from the one she had ordered. Knowing that the Starbucks had just barely closed, I quickly ran back to correct the error they had made. I was able to catch a worker by the name of Danielle at the door. I was absolutely astonished at how unaccommodating she was. In short, she turned me away saying there was nothing she could do about the drink that they just got WRONG because they were closed. She offered no solutions to us. Essentially she and Starbucks took our $5. I can understand that they might not have been able to remake the drink but they could've at least offered a credit for my mom to use at another time. I kept trying to reason with her hoping she would make it right because it was their mistake but she just turned us away empty handed. Very disappointed in how Danielle and Starbucks handled this situation. A warning to anyone else looking to get a drink at this location. If they get it wrong, they won't make it right. read more

I come here because it is on my way to work and convenient. Drinks are good sometimes, but they are very inconsistent. If you can wait a little longer I suggest you stop at the Starbucks in king city if you are headed south or the one in Gonzales if you are headed north both also have a drive through. read more

They ran out of cups larger than the tall size. And to top that off they had a 20-30 minute wait at 3pm on a Friday. I literally walked out without my order in hand. The manager had no resolution to make the customers happy. There were many people frustrated like me. I've been to over 50 Starbucks nationwide and never had an experience like this. This location needs serious help and I hope someone in Starbucks management reads this and invests some time into training and helping this site. read more

Super slow service. As we waited for 1 drink, a simple Americano, I watched. There were 6 people all doing different things, but they stopped and socialized and moved slow. The gal working the espresso moved like a lazy snail. A snail is slow by nature, but a lazy snail is near impossible to see move. She was virtually sleep walking thru her job. Looking for a fast caffeinated beverage while driving the 101? DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Waited over an hour for order. People after us have come and gone. Last time spending our money at this location. It is ridiculous! Horrible experience. Have actually witnessed the place empty while waiting. Asked if we were forgotten and was barked at. "No! There is a 15 minute wait!" We had to wait over 30 minutes for our order because they lost it I think. After we didn't get our order for a half an hour, we went to the counter to ask for our drinks and Tyler (after ignoring us standing there for 5 minutes even though he talked to other customers politely) gave us attitude and gave the excuse that "well, it's happy hour... Your order is probably coming." He didn't believe we had been waiting for over a half an hour until I offered to show him the receipt. I give it 2 stars because the people in the back working on the drinks were efficient and it wasn't their fault that the order was lost and Tyler was sassy. Ordered a croissant, strawberry banana smoothie and a latte at this location. First they were unable to warm up my croissant as both machines were not working. Machines indicated "needs cleaning". Latte was okay but my smoothie was way off. The barista making my drink made it a berry smoothie. I said that I ordered the strawberry banana thinking she was going to remake it. So she tossed a banana and poured the berry smoothie that she already make and reblended it. I left being on a time schedules with my baby and I finally took a look at the drink. The smoothie was not even a smoothie but like a watery blended juice. Terrible. It tasted nothing like the smoothie at other Starbucks locations. Stoped by on Saturday 9/1 i ordered online 2 caramel fraps and 2 sausage egg breakfast sandwich. I got my 2 fraps 10 min later then i asked for my breakfast sandwiches they said they will be right up. 10 min later i asked again they gave me 2 empty bags and just told me they were out of sandwiches and walked away like I'm i supposed to take the bags. So manager came up and said to me if i wanted something else i said no i was upset because first i waited when the female lady said they will be right up. My fraps has melted and i wasted my time there. I just told him to refund me back he said he couldn't refund me unless i have my card on me. I was more upset because i told him i didn't have my card on me. He then said sorry i can't refund you back. I suggested if he can give me a gift card with the amount i paid for breakfast sandwiches. He then said he could only refund me partial payment. How unprofessional luckily i remembered i had my card in my car and went to get it. Very bad service no communication between them or why offer online pick up if you have to wait 20 min for half service. Oh by the way i didn't even know at first he was the manager until i asked to speak to one and he said I'm the manager. When i couldn't get my money back. He basically said sorry but you paid for something online that we don't have and i can't refund you without your card or give you a gift card with the amount.
