We got some cinnabons when we were in this mall a while ago. Its the usual cinnabon with usual options. I always love their small donuts and the small buns with frosting on it. The staff moves the line quickly as this locations gets busy. There is nice seating area near this cinnabon store, so you can sit and eat there. I'm embarrassed to say I may have had a few too many cinnabons while living in Salinas. That may explain why I needed to buy larger pants. In fact, it may have been an addiction. But none the less, this place makes for great desserts!!! My mini cinnamon rolls were delicious. Couldn't have been fresher or tastier. I was really pleased. The customer service was not over the top friendly, but it wasn't unfriendly either. Located in the Northridge Mall. I've been to a few Cinnabon places across the country so I'm just going to touch on taste alone. This has to be the best place to get a quality Cinnabon. I can't even begin to describe the taste, but it's delicious. Many places in the franchise have a habit of overcooking the roll to the point of extra crispy. The classic cinnamon rolls always taste fresh and light. It's consistent in how good it tastes as well. I've been impressed with that every time as this is my diet splurge. went here yesterday with my sin to pick up rolls for Sunday breakfast. girl behind the counter said she did not have a six pack or regular rolls, when I asked how long to wait she said 45 min. I looked over and they were pulling fresh rolls out if the oven and I asked can I gave 6 of those and she replied no, those are for mall customers! what the hell,was I then, she said to sell 6 it's a package and she could not do it, that the have to have rolls available if "customers" come up to get one. BTW, this is at the Northridge Mall in Salinas, CA. What is up with this particular Cinnabon and that girl Rosa? They brought out a new tray of 6 buns. I asked for a box of 4. There were already 8 buns out and while this girl was arguing with me 2 more trays of 6 buns came out the oven. I was told I would have to wait 45 mins to get a fresh batch of 4. What?!?!?! You got 20 buns and you can't give me 4 fresh ones? AND this doesn't make any sense. "I can't give you four fresh ones. You have to buy them separately". What?!?! Basically you want the more money. I went in today to purchase a box of 6 rolls and the employee said a 30 min wait. So we waited the 30 mins and went back and weren't ready, then they said 10 mins. The best cinnabon i have ever tried!! i live in santa maria and we dont have a cinnabon shop here, we have a small place where they sell cinnabun rolls but they do not compare to these. These cinnabuns are sooooo good! but you have to get it from the window the freshly made ones not the ones that come in boxes! the bread is so soft and delicious. I have been to this location several times in the past. Always friendly and courteous to me and others waiting In line. I wish we had several more locations around town but the im glad we at least have this one in the mall. The rolls are always delicious. I usually go In a few times a week and order a few dozen for my employees they are always grateful to me for showing up with the warm rolls for the morning coffee. WOW! very bad costumer service! I work in retail and I know at times it is hard but overall very disappointing is this bakery. I visited here to buy a 6 pack of cinnabon for my family and took over 25 minutes. I go to the front and I didn't see the box to just get and pay. The employee says "I can make you one just give me 10 minutes". So i think about it and I told her "okay I will wait", so I go sit in the front. After waiting 25 and keep in mind the whole time we are making eye contact off and on. Then after seeing everyone else getting helped, I'm changing my mind about purchasing here. I thought about La plaza bakery, but I had waited so long already I decided to wait longer. I stand up at this point and I'm waiting by the station and she said "can I help you?" Like I thought I was being helped the whole time. I tell her "I em still waiting for you to make me the box of cinnabons". She says "did you pay?" I tell her "I been waiting here over 25 minutes and you didn't to tell me I had to pay for you to make me a box of cinnabons". She said "you have to pay first, then I can make them". I'm fed up at this point and I tell her "how much longer". She says "I can make it right away". So I paid her. She was hesitant to give me the receipt because I think she knew I was going to do the survey. So instead of giving me one of the 2 fresh batches of cinnabons she had just put out in front while I was waiting. She gets one of the batches that has been there and was missing one to complete the 6 pack. She goes and gets one cinnabon from one of the fresh batches to put in the pack she was giving me to complete the 6. That just put me over the top. She puts them in a bag and gives them to me. Not even a "sorry about the wait" or "sorry about the misunderstanding". I say think you and leave. Never coming here again. Poor customer service.I went on a Monday night. There were not that many customers in line 3-4.Customer in front which happened to be a female was undecided on what to purchase. Finally she decided to purchase a 6 pack of cinnamon rolls from the hot display shelf. I asked the teller (Hector) that I wanted to purchase the same as the customer did 6 warm hot pack. He implied that he can not sell them to me otherwise I would have to charge me as an individual purchase. I replied to him that he just sold the same thing to the lady in front of me. Then he replied by telling me that if I wanted a warm 6 pack I need to order 1 hr in advanced. That was ridiculous and found it to be racism since he sold the same thing to the lady in front of me but didn't wanted to sell the same thing to me. I asked to speak to supervisor which was not there so I called the complaint number in front of the cashier's machine which happened to be a non working number. The supervisor then came (Ramon) I explained to him the situation and told me the same thing as Ramon. How rude and racism. Horrible customer service. Probably because the lady was flirting with Hector the cashier that's how he sold the buns.People with that mentality should not be working at the customer service field.Society does not want Donald Trump figures out in the public discrimination against other human beans.Those type of people should be fired at the stop, regardless if they are cashiers or wanna bees supervisors. read more
