We started our online order at 12:30 took our lunch at one drove to go there still had to wait another 20 minutes for our food They were slightly busy like any normal day. They still put tomato and onion on our sandwich, disregarding the fact that we didn't want any and also burnt the bagel super disappointing. I have been coming here since I was a little girl, this place is not only a tiny bit sentimental but a huge amount of tasty! I have had bagels all over the country, and these by far are the best bagels I have ever had in my entire life. They are dense and thick and soft! It's hard to get that combo with a sprinkle of crunch when you bite into it. And don't get me started on their breakfast sandwiches and burritos! I noticed that he was managing other employees and ensuring they prepared the orders correctly. I love to see that. I ordered a supreme breakfast burrito with two meats, ham and chorizo, and cheese, with papas and a Caesar salad with chicken. The salad was a good-sized portion--literally enough to feed three people. I had two bowls of it and saved the rest for the next day, finishing it all! It cost $15, but the presentation could have been better with fresh lettuce. The croutons tasted a bit soggy, but overall, I really enjoyed the salad, and the chicken tasted like blackened chicken. My family also got bigger sandwiches, and they said it was good--a decent-sized portion. The only issue was that the fountain machine was out of many drinks, but I get it. It gets busy, and everyone's trying to make sure orders are being handled efficiently. The atmosphere is mid. Everyone is just trying to eat some good food, that's the vibe I get. Today was my last straw at the bagel corner. After coming here multiple times, different times of the day, I always tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt with their customer service and today did it. There is an assistant supervisor who has blue hair & is full of tattoos that just always has something sarcastic to say and provides horrible customer service. She speaks to all customers like children, she takes orders in a fast unwelcoming way & she speaks to her staff in such an embarrassing/humiliating way that I also experience second hand embarrassment. There is absolutely no need to act like a drill sergeant to your staff after messing up an order. (Has happened more than 2 times I have been there) This place has good food, but wow, I think the supervisor expectations need to be revised because I have NO idea how she got there.
