I stopped by this Starbucks inside Vons yesterday morning to try and get a bagel. This Starbucks location is near my work so that's why I came to this one. I came in the early morning so I found parking just fine. When I walked inside Vons, the Starbucks stand is right at the entrance and exit. There was no one in like so I went and place my order. I didn't see any bagels on their food display, so I asked the barista and she said they don't carry bagels here. So I just asked for a Mango Dragonfruit with light ice and water instead of lemonade. The barista made my drink quick and put light ice like I asked. The drink was very watered down so it didn't have a strong mango Dragonfruit flavor to it. I think the barista didn't put a lot of the powder and mango Dragonfruit. The price also went up at all Starbucks location. read more

You walk in and there are young people everywhere. Clearly this is their hang out. There was a very long line at the register but no one was taking orders. The girl with the black shirt was standing around talking about mom work stuff. so I spoke up to her and said "Is anyone taking orders?" So then she came over and started taking orders. The floors were very dirty. The workers all were working hard though. They were all friendly. Just the one slacking incident in the beginning. I must say that they made the best drink I have ever had which was a expresso frap with caramel drizzle. It was perfect and the Best drink ever! read more

This is for the Starbucks at the Simi mall. I went yesterday after they reopened. It was a long wait but I was acknowledged when driving up to make my order. It appeared to me that the staff was disorganized but I got my drink and went on my way. This morning, I went back and drove right up to the order kiosk (there was no one in line). I waited and waited and finally asked throught the micophone if the drive thru was open. The woman finally came on and said "I'll be with you in a moment". So I waited and placed my order and drove right up to the window (again there was no one in the drive thru). I waited and waited without this woman (same one from yesterday--the one with the scrip tatoo on her left forearm) even acknowleging that I was there and no drinks had been made (or were being made) nor the food. Today, it was obvious to me that this Starbucks must have restaffed with new employees (the drive thru woman was assisting a young man inside the store with an issue) as they did not seem organized and confident like the previous staff. I finally had to drive away and get to work. My time is valuable too. If the store wants to restaff, it should also ensure there are experienced individuals to assist newly hire employees--which is fair to those newly hired employees. If you need coffee/drinks/food on your way to work, I would skip this location (until they're trained) and go to the location on First street (or better yet go to Makenna Coffee--they're the best). If you have time to spare or are on Summer vacation this is the location for you. read more

Unless you order a tall size medicine ball, it doesn't taste the same. Not enough lemonade or honey. This has happened every time I have ordered the grande or venti size. read more

Speaking for the drive thru only because I haven't been inside much.... First of all, Starbucks should all have a drive thru. Coffee and being in a rush go hand in hand. This place is super speedy even when the line is long. Through no fault of their own, the line ventures into the middle of the parking lot aisle so cars have to leave a bit of a gap for through traffic. Doesn't impact the experience though! Even when the oven is inconveniently broken here, it's still fast and my order is always correct. The staff are friendly too. Couldn't ask for anything more. read more

Came into the store (walk-in) for a very Simple order of grande dark roast and a blueberry muffin! 15 minutes later, I still have not gotten my drink order! Many walk-in and mobile orders came and gone within that 15 minutes! Drive thru was inundated! And that is why I walked in! No one in line ahead of me. Plenty came in by walk-in and they came and went! So I approached the cashier and asked for my money back! He complied after I voiced my displeasure! Plenty of workers and they were all busy! Smiling and providing everyone's order except mine! This was not an isolated incident! I have been here one other time! Same SCE and same conclusion! They do not have a priority in when you came in. Little, convenient Starbucks inside of Ralphs. Everybody working there was nice. There was this one girl who was being trained, but it still was a good experience. This Starbucks is for if it is a cold day, or are just feeling like getting Starbucks while going shopping, this is the place for you. read more

I have to unfortunately agree with the other reviews of poor inattentive service. My friend wanted coffee so we walked up to the counter. I kid you not we stood there for over 5 minutes with 4-5 employees completely ignoring us. There were three of us in line and we were completely ignored. To make things worse one of them appeared to be one of authority as she was ordering the rest around. 4 of them were huddled together talking about their schedules and personal lives. When one of them decided to help us she nonchalantly washed utensils and her hands for another several minutes then approached the counter. She did not even greet my friend and worse yet. The holiday blend my friend wanted wasn't even in stock despite the giant signs promoting the product. My friend works at an competitor and said that she'd be fired on the spot if she ever ignored a customer that way. Owner/Manager please address this. read more
