Stopped by San Fernando Coffee Company today and ordered The Angeleno; a vanilla cold brew topped with horchata cold foam. It sounded amazing, but I found it a bit too sweet for my taste. If you've got a serious sweet tooth, it might hit the spot, but for me, it was a little overpowering. That said, the service was friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. I'm not sure if I'd return....at least not for that drink. Might be worth checking out other menu options if you're in the area and curious!

This place is pretty good! My first experience at this coffee shop and it was a good one! I ordered the Banana Matcha, which turned out to be pretty creamy and delicious! Almost like a Banana Smoothie/ Matcha latte hybrid! The service was quick and the workers all had a great vibe early in the morning! I will for sure be coming back to try their other options too!

I grabbed an iced coffee to taste the coffee is a more pure form. It's solid is taste. I snapped some photos of the fall menu because it's interesting and different than the other main stream places. Excited to try them during the season. Service is fast, no wait, and the coffee is great!

Proof I was there...horchata latte inside!

OMG! Today I tried the Mexican mocha latte. I asked for it extra hot (and extra spicy!). I guess the cayenne is in their flavoring but it didn't disappoint. I feel like a lottery winner for two reasons! 1) there was no line yet and 2) my second visit has been as successful as the first! Guys ya gotta go! It's not all about Starbucks anymore. Support small business!

Emily and Willem were very friendly and accommodating!! It was our first time and we had a couple questions and modifications and they were happy to help us!! I love how many different options the menu offers. I was so excited about the "dirty cherry" I love dr. Pepper!! The foam is what was cherry flavored it was sweet but went really well in the drink!! The drip was also fantastic!!

Got the matcha with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and it's the absolute best balance of sweet and earthy matcha flavor!!

Wow! Great Coffee here with a Mexican twist! I saw this place just opened and wanted to support their new store! I walked in and was surprised with their drink menu! It all sounded delicious! I decided to try their "Abuelita Latte" which consist of Espresso, Mexican Mocha, Horchata & Cold Foam! My two favorite things Coffee & Horchata! This place is right next to the Sandwich Spot so go check them out soon! You won't be disappointed! Great service! The place isn't too big, but their Coffee is the star!

This place just opened up this past Tuesday and I was really interested in trying it! They have a pretty good menu with lots of variety and the service was pretty good. I asked for a recommendation and I was told the Angelina was good, so that's what I tried. It tasted pretty good, and the horchata foam went well with their vanilla cold brew. Coffee flavor wasn't as strong as I'd like it to be, maybe it's because it's a little watered down from the ice in the drink. I'd probably order it with no ice next time so it would taste a little stronger. Definitely would come back to try their other drinks. The place is pretty small, but with plenty of parking since they share it with a lot of other businesses. They have some pastries and lots of choices for food. Great coffee addition to Simi Valley :)

Got the banana bread latte and it tasted water down. The price wasn't worth it in my opinion maybe I got a bad drink idk but would rather go to the other shops in simi but the people working were super nice

I've been coming here for a while now and been ordering the same drink almost every time I'm here. This drink always looks creamy and tastes really good. This time the drink looks and tastes like it's watered down and has coffee grounds in it. Every sip leaving grounds in my mouth. Very disappointing

Bacon egg and cheese croissant. 10 out of 10

Came here Monday morning around 9:15. We were the only customers there. My daughter had the s'mores latte, iced. We decided to try the egg and cheese croissant. You get a choice of bacon or ham. We opted for bacon. The coffee was ready quickly, maybe 3 minutes for the coffee and 5 minutes for the sandwich. While we waited someone did come in and picked up an order, we did hear the ding of a tablet order and as we left another customer came in. Thankfully for a new business, they do have customers. My daughter liked her coffee and the sandwich was really good. First thing is the sandwich is big. They cut the croissant in half, stuffed it with tons of bacon egg and cheese. They pressed it on the flat top so the outside of the croissant was toasted, the cheese was melted and the egg was cooked properly. The maybe garlic aioli was really good. We will definitely comeback and try more options.

The ambiance was nice too - it seems like a cozy enough place for people to hang out and I even saw someone working on their laptop for awhile. The latte was strong and not too sweet. The blueberry syrup they used didn't mix well with the drink and I had clumps of it in the bottom, no matter how hard I stirred it. This meant that some sips had no blueberry flavor and others too much. My brother got the Hibiscus Desert Rose Iced Tea. It was good but not necessarily anything special. Also, the cream/milk they added to it kept separating. The biggest thing for me was the price. It was around $25 for both of our drinks which is very expensive. If the drinks were incredible then I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it, but I don't think they are worth the price.

For my drink, I got the Iced Chocolate Blend, and the little girl in me was screaming with excitement it was so rich and delicious, almost like a lightly thick chocolate malt. It definitely did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is super cute, with both indoor and outdoor seating available and awesome music playing throughout the café, which creates such a fun and lively atmosphere. Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. Anyways, the workers at this location are typically nice, the service is okay most of the time, and I appreciate how it quiets down at night and is a good place to chill in the later hours. I will also mention that I tried their iced tea in the hopes that it would be better than the watery coffee, but the iced tea was so strong that it was barely drinkable. I guess I just haven't found "the" drink that's worth coming back here for when there are so many other options for coffee nowadays.
