I've been on a coffee / tea rotation for a while now where I like to alternate my intake but through and through I'm a latte girl! When I came across an iced Matcha latte article on Buzzfeed that called out Peet's for having the best tasting iced Matcha (for a chain), I had to try it for myself. I don't mind the Starbucks matcha but apparently it's a point of contention amongst the matcha elites! Stopped at the Peet's in Thousand Oaks ok a Friday morning and discovered I had driven by this place so many times but never had the pleasure of actually ordering so I'm a first timer! It wasn't super busy but there were several people waiting on their already placed orders. The barista was friendly and helpful and took my order no problem. Waited maybe 5 minutes (if that) before my name was called. It looked beautiful - the balance of green on top and white on bottom. Gorgeous presentation. I noticed another customer gathering her items to go and asked if she too had the matcha but she told me hers was the Iced Blushing Rose Matcha Latte. She swears by it as her go to. Mental note for my next Peet's drop in! It was wonderfully delicious. Subtly sweet but definitely matcha. I was sold. Peet's has a new fan for sure!

Placed an order via the mobile app and drink was ready in no time! It's located in a plaza with lots of shops, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find parking.

As franchise coffee place Peet's will be always best quality coffee. I like inside of Peet's giving us old coffee place vibes. They had new seasonal flavor for tasting, it was unique but combination was good. We had nice morning coffee thank you Peet's ** sugar choice Check photo

    What an amazing almond croissant!

While I love Peet's Coffee (Iced Latte's... yum) because it is both STRONG and SMOOTH, today I experienced a different side of the Pete I love! The staff at this Peet's is both super helpful and super knowledgeable about the products... Eli and Alise both deserve kudo's! Starving, today, I decided to try the food here! It was amazing for a coffee shop! The almond croissant is by far the biggest, most almond and best tasting almond croissant. I have tasted at any coffee shop anywhere in the world... And that is no exaggeration. The egg white frittata with tomatoes and feta cheese is amazingly tasty too! Like every other Peet's the store is attractive, clean, and a great place to sit and enjoy a cuppa coffee! Combine this with the great price they give on K-Cup pods in store... And stopping at a Pete's coffee shop is a must! Be sure to see all of the photos... I think you will find the comments below the photos helpful too!

Why is a coffee shop completely out of hot coffee midday? Asked how long the wait would be, answer, "it will take a while." Geez!

Was disappointed by the milky cappuccino and the mocha tasted like a hot chocolate. The proportion of espresso to milk is way off.

Where I think Longevity is lacking though is in their food pricing which I don't feel it's justified, I totally get paying a premium for their coffee. I ordered some avocado toast and a side order of sourdough toast; they have the avocado toast priced just under $15 for only one piece of toast where almost anywhere else in the area is priced at $10. The one piece of sourdough toast with butter was a whopping $8+. It won't stop me going there I just won't order those food items again. It's real easy to get to , located in Westlake off Hampshire blvd off the 101 freeway., absolutely worth a visit. Would have been 5 stars if food wasn't so pricey.

This isn't the trendy, brightly lit coffee shop that's designed for Instagram. Instead, it's a cozy little café where every drink feels like it was made with heart. As a family-owned bakery and coffee shop, they offer a delicious selection of freshly baked pastries, bagels, and cinnamon rolls that make it hard to choose just one. I ordered the vanilla latte with oat milk, and it did not disappoint. Their house-made vanilla syrup gave the latte a rich, creamy flavor that was absolutely delicious. While I was there, Mayra had just pulled a fresh batch of matcha cinnamon rolls out of the oven, and I'm so glad I gave one a try--it was warm, soft, and incredible. Located directly across the street from Basta and Honey Cup, La Cereza is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. I was hoping to add this place to my rotation of local breakfast hangout spots that I patronize. In the dining room, they were streaming some pulsating hyperpop music laden with heavy explicit lyrics. Totally inappropriate. Not the type of vibe I'm looking for at 7:30 in the morning. Ordered the sausage breakfast burrito. The burrito was heavy on the breakfast potatoes, it took up more than half of the burrito. Unfortunately, the potatoes were all undercooked which made them CRUNCHY and unbearably BLAND. The amount of thin breakfast sausage slices inside was small relative to the entirety of the burrito. The scrambled eggs with cheese inside were very good! It came with a small cup of salsa which was excellent, unfortunately the cup was only half filled. It was not nearly enough as the burrito was so bland because of the large amount of undercooked potatoes. I could have easily used two or three cups of salsa to give it taste. I'll be willing to give them a second chance in a few weeks, I'm curious to see if my experience will be better as I am hoping that today was just an aberration.
