So so soo happy Ice Bar opened in Simi. The milk tea here is much better than anywhere else in simi. My favorite go to is the jasmine milk tea and oolong milk tea. The Vietnamese matcha milk tea is also good and really strong-- as it should be! They do promos pretty often which makes this place even better! One downside is the food is okay. The popcorn chicken doesn't have much flavor and wished it was like other milk tea spots where they add Thai basil and seasoning. Staff are nice and efficient. Lots of seating space too and they have games! Other than that, you can catch me here twice a week.

The service was fast and staff were great! The place has a lot of seating inside and decor was very nice. We ordered a classic milk tea with boba and a watermelon slushy. The watermelon slushy was a little disappointing. It was too sweet with a candy like flavor, not resembling watermelon at all. The classic milk tea was really bland, like they forgot to sweeten it. The boba was good though, soft and chewy. Maybe will give it another try, but order something different.

Went to this boba place to try it out. The place is clean and the walls are instagramable. I ordered taro with boba for an additional 65 cents. I asked them to cut the sugar to 50 percent because I am pre diabetic. I got my drink fast and the bobas were freshly made. My drink was not too sweet, just like I wanted. I would definitely come back

I've been to the Northridge branch and so I knew I could trust the Simi Valley branch. Good menu, clean and bright interior. I got the winter melon tea with sea salt foam. So delicious! And they have a little ice cream case in the front. I would come here again.

Quick and efficient, with plenty of boba options. Good seating if you wanted to enjoy your boba with friends. No outside seating available. We chose the strawberry tea with pearls, black milk tea with pearls, caramel milk tea with pearls and taro milk tea with pearls. The strawberry was very sweet. Service was super friendly! Glad to have a place like this in Simi.

a great spot to chill with plenty of space and fast service. I appreciate their organic milk options, which add a nice touch. The boba was decent, nothing amazing, but still enjoyable

I have been waiting for this establishment to open for a while...and I finally just had the opportunity to try it out! The Ice Bar is a typical grab and go tea shop with all the normal options! Nothing really unique about this shop, except it's in Simi Valley and we have little options for tea places! I ordered the winter melon and it was good but nothing great! A bit sweet, so make sure you tell them how sweet you like your drink! Drinks are a bit pricey: my drink cost over 6.50, but that the price for a Bobba drink these days. The shop has plenty of seating. Not exactly the warmest environments to chill in with your drink! The walls are nicely painted with murals though! Worth a visit if you have a taste for Bobba!

I previously gave this place a 4/5 rating during my first visit. During my second visit, it was clear to me that these items are very overpriced. I can easily get the same items at nearby stores for almost half the price and with better quality. Like the okonomi fries - I could just buy the fries from McDonald's and put some okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese mayo (all can be bought from Vallarta or valley produce or even VONS) for 1/3 of the price and still be better or as good. I think charging $6 for it is a crime when the sauce only covers the top portion of the fries. I was also upset that my sea salt green tea was pretty much 75% ice and I paid $6 for that too. Again, the place tastes GOOD, but I think it's not worth the money though it's in a prime spot for convenience and timing if you want something late at night.

Cajun popcorn and fries. Honey mango passionfruit with Boba.
    Chidimma I.

So cutting to the chase, I tried the honey mango passion fruit drink w boba and it was SO SO GOOD. I didn't know what to expect and they recommend it and yeah it's a new favorite. I also tried their Cajun popcorn chicken and it's so delicious. The place is a vibe and they play good music so it's definitely a chill hangout spot. The employees are chill and very helpful in picking a recommendation. Really glad there's a good boba spot out in Simi, don't let this place go away y'all!!!

Black milk tea with honey boba and salted foam.
    Katherine H.

Great drinks made fast! Loved the black milk tea with honey boba and salted foam. The boba is big and perfectly squishy. Next time I might ask for it less sweet if possible. Strawberry banana smoothie was delicious as well. The inside is a bit lack luster, could use some more comfortable seating but I just grab and go anyways.

    Proof of them blocking me.

Let's start off with the fact that they blocked me on TikTok after expressing the fact that they messed up an order. Not only this, but several of their employees from their West Covina location harassed me online through offensive comments. I ordered a matcha latte with milk foam the other week. The milk foam was expired. The matcha wasn't even made well, as it was powdery, and it tasted like as if it was made with powdered creamer? Not sure how they make their matcha but it wasn't good. For the amount of matcha promo they do online, they seem to clearly not know how to make it. Their location has no AC, it's extremely hot in there, their seating is hard wood. Not comfortable at all. I do not enjoy coming in here, and it's sad because some of their workers are nice. Simi employees have been kind, but it seems that their other employees from other locations have been harassing me through social media direct messages and comments. They didn't make my drink right before either. I've ordered fresh teas before and the syrup was never added fully which wasn't okay. Oh! Their prices are really bad too. They sell their drinks for over $9 each, and for that much I'd expect quality. At this point I would rather go to BobaTime across the street, or even drive down to Northridge for Bounce Boba, BonBon, or even ReCoffee for matcha. It's insane how bad they are, and their employees do not seem happy either. I feel bad for them as well as they have even mentioned how bad their boss Jason treats them. Not cool.

    Candi B.

The guy in the front was super nice and patient with us for ordering as it was our 1st time. I got a Thai tea with honey Boba and my son got a strawberry smoothie with honey Boba. Both drinks were great and they came in a cute bucket. Such a great deal and I feel like you get so much for around 7 bucks a drink. I've been to the other Boba place and feel like The ice bar is better and is now our to go place.

The food came out pretty quickly and the person taking my order was pretty patient with me taking my time to look at their menu. The ambiance was nice too - it seems like a cozy enough place for people to hang out and I even saw someone working on their laptop for awhile. I will say the foods looked good but seemed a little pricey for the service size, so I avoided ordering anything else this time. Might check them out in the future.

Anywho, I came on a Saturday around noon time and it wasn't packed but there were some people inside sitting down. Obviously there's a lot of greenery and feels like a small oasis. If you want to come in to read a book or do work then this would be such an ideal spot especially if you want to feel like you're outside. I decided to get the iced horchata latte with cardamom. Initially I was going to get that with soy milk but came out a little over $10!! lol wow I wasn't going to pay that much for a coffee. Alternative milk is $1 more and to add a spice is $.75 so I decided to stay w the cardamom since I love cardamom and don't come across that spice at coffee shops much but I don't know if their selection of spices is to charge more. I found the shop to be overpriced for an average tasting latte. It wasn't bad but it was also nothing crazily amazing and I've had better and it does not cost $10. The parking is easy since it's at the Simi Town Center which sadly not a lot is opened there and it's pretty dead so you'll find enough parking.
