MY FAVORITE STARBUCKS in SD! OMG, this Starbucks has the best staff on the planet. I've never encountered friendlier staff than at this location. During SDCC they had the shop running smoothly and efficiently. They had half of the team working on mobile orders and the others serving walk-in customers. Everyone had a smile and they played a part in making my Comic Con magical. I love that the staff had nerdy stuff on and that they treated each guest respectfully. I love an inclusive coffee scene. I dropped by several times during SDCC and they remembered my name! Thousands of people walked through the coffee shop and they took the time to appreciate their customers and give us dignity. My coffee (cold brew & espressos) was delicious, and my food was just as tasty. It's a bustling Starbucks location, even when SDCC isn't in town I always see a few folks because this is right by the Gaslamp. Please thank these talented baristas, they're phenomenal!

Starbucks is a coffeehouse chain and roastery serving coffees, teas, blended beverages, and pastries. AMBIANCE Modern space with no seating SERVICE Avoid the comic con crowd and place a mobile order ahead of time, or order at the register and be prepared to wait. DRINK ?/5 Shaken Espresso 5/5 water: triple filtered

I stopped by Starbucks at the San Diego Convention Center for a Caramel Macchiato. The staff was friendly and I had a great experience here.

I never thought Starbucks can mess up a simple Venti with light ice . I go there all the time after running over 6 miles at 6 am . The guy with glasses poured a whole cup of ice which filled up my venti . Now hi is that light ice ? When I told him I want light ice he was like this is light ice . So when I said this is to cold he was like I'll give you another with no ice instead of fixing it . So now I'm walking 6miles back with 3 cups of water . Every time I order they usually give a 1/4 so it's not sooo cold . This guy was completely rude. I seriously don't know what's his deal . Very unwelcoming. I would give 0 stars if I could .

This Starbucks is in the Gaslamp district of San Diego. There is indoor and outside seating available. The staff here are very friendly. It is only a few feet away from the Convention Center. We had mocha Frappuccinos. With cookie crumbs!! So delicious and refreshing. This is my favorite drink to order here. There is pleasant background music. Some of the songs are familiar to me, the others are new. I don't know if I'll be back this way again, but I'm so glad I came today..

This location was super walkable, it was quite busy in the late afternoon, but pretty fast service. The employee that helped me was really nice. I ordered a cinnamon caramel cream, cold brew. It's one of their new drinks and they asked if I wanted nitro or regular cold brew and I didn't know the difference and I figured out that I like regular cold brew better because it has ice and the nitro one does not. I was very grateful to the employee that helped explain this. The drink was made very well and we were able to sit there and get a window seat and enjoy the drink. I will be back to this location!

They make good coffee and they're friendly. HOWEVER, because of the location of this Starbucks they absolutely get slammed when events are happening at the convention center. Which is always. Plan to mobile order - always. And if you mobile order during conference season, expect it to take 20-30 minutes before you can get it - even if your order is just a simple drip.

We stopped by at around 8:20am today and there were only a few people in line. Service was welcoming and kind! They had an assortment of baked goods + empanadas as well as a great matcha/coffee menu. There's lots of seating for anyone who wants to hangout with friends or study. So awesome to see that they serve Nami (aashleyk's matcha brand). I ordered a chicken empanada, pan de elote, & an iced matcha cloud (less sweet & oat milk). Everything was absolutely DELISH. I'm pretty picky about my matcha, especially when it's in an Einspanner form. I loved the contrast between the sweet/salty cloud and the matcha itself! This place has their ratios down perfectly. Can't wait to come back (probably tomorrow)! 11/10.

The staff were awesome and super friendly. I got the Mia-mor Latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese, and both hit the spot. One major bonus: they only charge $0.50 extra for oat milk! Most other coffee shops charge $1.00 or more now, so that was a really nice surprise. They also gave me a stamp card for future visits, which I'll definitely be using. Will absolutely be back!

I love the habanero bagel, it's one of my favorites, but just be warned it is very hot. Definitely don't eat it without something cold to drink. They also have a breakfast sandwich called the San Diego which is a favorite of several people I know. You chose the bagel you want it with and they add fried eggs, bacon, cheese and aioli. I highly reccomend it. I've not had a lot of their deinis, but i did order the cinna-bee which has honey, cinnamon, espresso and milk. I thought it was good and would order it again. Definitely check them out and try some of their bagels, or perhaps one of their sandwiches.
