I actually love going to 7-Eleven, and maybe even More so now because this lockdown has me wistful for the days where I could travel. Why would 7/11 make me feel less wishful for travel?!? Good question! It reminds me so much of Thailand and how in Bangkok you can't stand in front of one 7/11 and not see where another one is! They love them some 7/11! Me too! I am a huge fan of 7-11. They are everywhere and convenient (or at least that is their motto). I'm always a regular patron at any 7-11 in my neighbourhood because I'm addicted to Spitz sunflower seeds. This is probably one of the first location that I don't like and have driven across town to others over walking to this one. The management are not helpful and are often kind of rude. Tonight I walked up to the door at three minutes until 10 pm and the same man (manager/owner/whatever) was unlocking the door to let someone out and waved me away. The next closest location is on a sketchy street in Little Italy that I won't walk to at night and all other shops roll up their entryways earlier than 10 pm (even before the pandemic). This is why Amazon and Uber Eats keeps making all the money. read more

The one on C street is literally a dump where transients will leave their stuff all over the outside and even the inside of the store. I took a pass on that one. They can't or won't make their own minds on hours of operations. When I first walked by was 24 hours, then it closes at 10.00 pm then suddenly back to 24 hours. Then I am told oh store manager wants all of us out by 10.00 pm so now we need to close at 9.00 pm. Then yesterday June 25, 2024 back to 24 hours I was told. Then I go by today oh that was a prank we still close at 9.00 pm. They have lost my business. I wish they would just closed down for good so am/pm could be put there in that spot. read more

I stopped by this 7-Eleven, after browsing a bit at the Little Italy Farmer's Market. I came to make an ice coffee from their Brazilian Roast, a California Super Lotto ticket, and a small bag of regular Cheetos. After using their no fee ATM that coop with my credit union, I quickly and easy found my Cheetos and then proceeded to fill my 22 oz 7-Eleven that was given to me as a gift previously at work. The coffee island was in pretty good order, except for a few pieces of trash lying around and the containers all had coffee in them, I checked. The Brazilian roast was great and certainly provided that kick I needed for the remainder of the day. The older lady at the counter was in good spirits and provided very good service. I am sure glad 7-Eleven's have not disappeared from the urban scene. read more

Ken the cashier is Awesome! He was alone in the store working a very long line by himself. He handles it like a true professional! Ken had to fix the coffee maker, get the pizza out, get the taqitos out of the oven back to the register help about make 12-15 people in line all by hisself and still maintaining his cool and calm composure with a smile on his face. Then finally an Asian male came out and helped Ken but by then Ken had already work the line down. Ken I hope your employers appreciate you! I live nearby but haven't stopped in for awhile. The coffee bar was always great, but the last two times the decaf carafe was empty. When I asked about it I was told they no longer carry decaf. Also, you can no longer refill your own mugs and the Brazilian dark was bitter and pretty awful. This is one of my go to stops in Little Italy. Usually I will take the trolley or park near 7-11 ish area when I visit Little Italy. And if I need a bottle of water or something, this is my spot. It is also a meeting spot for me and my friends when we decide to hit Little Italy. The store is small and the location is easy to find. Offering up the typical grab n go snacks and drinks. After work, this place has been a blessing in my life and all I can really say is that I actually get EXCITED to come here. You walk in and the employees are very nice. They always have a smile on their face and I have a great time conversing with them. They will talk with you and each person here is unique. A great part of why I love this 7/11 (which is pretty weird to hear for a 7/11), is that it has TABLES. I will often times order the inexpensive 2 hot dogs for less than 3 dollars, fill it up with FREE condiments including cheese and chili sauce, and just enjoy it on the tables by the windows. This addition just seems to fit. Service here is just great, they always work hard to keep the place clean, they are on top of their stuff and that's a fact. The customers are generally nice it's the people who beg for money outside that make this place a 4-star. I have no problem giving to charity, but seeing the same people every day begging for money in front creates a negative vibe and since there isn't anything really enforcing them to leave, it sometimes gets awkward when you leave or enter. It can be a hassle with parking though, since downtown is a busy place. It's a good thing this 7/11 is in a more residential area so it's not quite so difficult. The harder place to park would have to be the 7/11 near grape street because of the busy intersection and the freeway right there. The place is very organized and typical of a 7/11 EXCEPT that their stock is always maintained and not left empty like the 7/11 down by Sweetwater road. As all places, this place is open all night so they really are your best friend when you're looking for the midnight snack or mid day drink. Coffee and Hot Cocoa is always being brewed here so if you need a quick picker upper count on this place for your morning wake up. While you're paying say hello to the cashiers before they say hi to you and just start your day off with a great conversation. Bravo 7/11, you got it down right. read more

If you have been to one, you have been to them all. However I like this location it is conveniently located at the south end of Little Italy real close to work. Its great for me because sometimes I dont have time to make coffee before work. This location is always clean and they greet you everytime you walk in. Love that! The only negative like many areas of downtown you may run into someone outside the front door begging for money, change or asking for food straight out of your hand. I have learned to politly say sorry and keep it movin. No need to get into when they get rude. read more

I just completed moving today that took about 3 hours but felt more like 4.3 hours, and after a few super power naps I woke up thirsty and hungry. Being that it was 9pm the mean streets of Little Italy were dark and just about everything was closed. But not everything. From a convenience factor this place rocks. My cousin lives right across the street from it... easy peasy to get whatever it was that I needed... HOT DOG anybody? ;) What makes it a bit shinier of a penny to me is that it's open late--24 hours maybe? I'm not sure, but we finished partying way past midnight and as we were walking down the streets of Little Italy, this joint was pulsing with life. With its convenient location in my current playground, this 7-Eleven provides all the necessities needed on a short jaunt away from home: coffee, beef jerky, cigarettes, tampons, travel toothbrush, and V-8, most with a price mark up. It's your typical 7-Eleven, but with annoying doors that open inward, which make for an awkward display early in the morning, especially if you aren't up for reading the giant signs that say PUSH. If you don't have trouble opening doors, proceed like any other 7-Eleven. If you are retarded, stay away. read more

This is kind of a weird review. I come here quite often, as it's right near where I live. I come in for coffee, donuts, pizza, etc.-in other words, no big deal stuff. I buy my stuff, and I get a receipt. Okay, the first couple times. Then I tell them I don't want a receipt. I still get a receipt. Now I'm telling the same guys I don't want a receipt, and what happens? I get a receipt from the same people I tell over and over I don't want one. I have never been to a 7 11 where I ever got one. I grew up right by one in South Gate, so me and 7 11 go back. It really gets on my nerves and I wish they would learn to listen to their frequent customers. They're like programmed robots. And now because of this, I make a point to go to other 7 11's. There is one good thing about this location: a lot of the sexy foreign exchange students come here.
