This 7-11 is located walking distance from Petco Park home of the San Diego Padres. I like going to 7-11 for their ready to eat pizza and hot dogs plus their drinks.

Okay, this 7-Eleven is smartly located across the street from Petco Park. Not only is it surrounded by condominiums and downtown apartments, but across the street from the ball park. Can you imagine how much money they rake in during base ball season? Other than being a smart location, it is also a very nice 7-Eleven. The place is very well stocked, coffee is nice and hot, and the place is very clean. I was surprise to see that they sold pizza by the slice as well. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/D2lpo1wzeyPEDDOCEtpwZQ?select=GI1-9f1G7AMK1ryTeKIH-g). Good Spot & Good Service!

It's weird... they don't sell beer that I can see, but it's a really nice and CLEAN 7-Eleven. I can't say I've been to a shinier one in my entire life. The layout is a little funky though. You pretty much need to walk to the middle of the store just to nab a pack of chicle. Strange complaint? Maybe... but who does that? Everywhere else, it's within an arm's reach of the cash register so you can rock some fresh ass breath while buying your go-go taquitos. Short review, yeah... but I guess I've revealed everything that was on my mind after leaving this place. Bad gum placement... and cleaner than most. There ya go! This review sucks.

Can't remember the last time I had a slurpee, but it was a hot day strolling around Comic Con and it was an enticing, affordable treat versus the options along the event. Good location, fast browsing and quick checkout.

In the east village by Petco park you will find 7 Elevens flagship store. It has an amazon dispensary and fine finishes. Sells rotating hotdogs and lotto tickets too.

    What a deal!

You ring the doorbell, wait patiently, and once you're inside, you realize this isn't your typical coffee shop. It's a place to slow down, enjoy the music, and savor your drink. Monique and Danica were both amazing. They're warm, welcoming, and you can really see the passion behind what they do. Danica is also the DJ, and her eclectic playlist made the whole experience even better. One of my favorite parts was just sitting there watching our drinks being made. You can see the care and craft that goes into every cup...even the Kuramoto ice is beautiful. The Matcha Americano completely changed my perception of matcha. The Kyoto cold brew pour-over was fascinating to watch and incredibly smooth. We loved it so much that we came back the very next day. This time I had the Midori, and my brother-in-law loved the Highball, especially the yuzu. No laptops. Trust the DJ. Drinks are meant to be enjoyed fresh, so take your time. If you're looking for a quick coffee run, this isn't it. But if you appreciate great coffee, good music, and people who are passionate about their craft, Long Play Hi-Fi is absolutely worth the visit.

The menu featured various matcha tea drinks which seems to be all the rage right now. The same seating arrangement of the bar countertop and tables across from it was available if you wanted to hang out and chill. A sign behind the bar described the ceremonial grade matcha that was used with the region of origin and the flavors imparted to the powder. Five different matcha drinks were offered along with hot and cold coffees and lattes. The top three matcha choices were priced at $8 each. I chose the Ordinary Pleasure which was the first one. Pandan sticky rice milk and mango puree were added to the matcha and topped with a salted coconut foam. I wasn't a fan of the foam, but the matcha flavor was intense and contrasted by the fruity puree on the bottom of the cup. The baristas were very focused with measuring the exact amounts for each ingredient in the drinks they were preparing. The matcha quality seemed to be very good based on what I tasted so maybe it's why the price was $1 higher than what I have tried elsewhere.

The drink exhibited every core to the classic Thai dessert and there was really little room for improvement other than the ratio of rice to coconut blend could be evened out. However, sipping the cocosmoothie with bits of rice made up my mind as I can confidently say this is #1. If you're looking for something different and tired of the conventional smoothie or milk tea, come experience this. Give some patience as orders are made fresh from this small hole in the wall. I plan on returning from LA as soon as possible.

The barista mentioned that it is on the sweeter side. When this was mentioned I felt like it would be a good pairing because the Thai coffees that I am used to having are typically on the strong side. I also heard from another customer that the Thai coffee had a slight mocha taste to it which I thought was interesting. I'm indifferent to powdered taro milk teas, although this one in particular, I did not enjoy. It was thick and sludgy, with an undertone of medicine reminding me of pepto bismol. The color was lovely, but not the taste. I wouldn't order this particular drink again. The drink I chose was medium size and it was only $5.38 (or 5.83, I can't remember & I don't think I got a receipt) ish which I can appreciate! The top portion of the drink was the Thai coffee and I really did like the flavor. Next time I'll get a different drink for sure! My friend tried the Green Thai Tea for the first time and really enjoyed the flavor of it. It had a floral jasmine + vanilla taste, a little bit on the sweet side-- but refreshing and delicious. The prices are pretty good (coffee and milk teas) and they also have smoothies (which can be on the more expensive side $9-12). Water cup is free upon request. They also have only a handful of seatings, but it's a nice area to walk around. They have umbrellas as well, but they do need a heavier stand for windy days as I've witnessed it fall into a car several times. Other than that, I recommend checking out It's Cafe Thai in Barrio Logan!
