I searched their website and it showed in stock. At the time, I drove down and they found it for me right away. Today I was walking by and stopped in. I was greeted immediately. I wandered around the upper part of the store. They have a really nice selection and variety of various alcohols, not just wine. I imagine if I lived closer I would stop by regularly. I definitely stop in when I'm in the area.

I couldn't find any place selling wine and this one came up as a wine bank. It didn't have great reviews, so I wasn't expecting much. But it was the only one available so I decided to give it a go. I didn't see much of a selection at - first local wines on the main floor, but when I got two bottles of local wine, the owner told me that they had a basement full of wine from around the world. I went down there and oh boy they have the largest selection of wine from around the world that I have seen in a long, long time. The place has a wide range of wines from $15.99 onto under $100 from what I saw, there is a little cave that had a more curated selection. I did not go in because I didn't want to spend more than $20. But I was actually very surprised by the nice selection of wines that they had from Napa, Sonoma, Chile, Argentina. Italy, France and Germany. I got some Argentinian and some Spanish wine varietals, and they were pretty good. The prices were decent for being in the middle of the gaslamp district and they were friendly. They were very friendly and helpful. There was another gentleman down in the basement and I told him that I was from the Napa Valley region, so I didn't want anything from the Napa Valley and I asked him about the San Diego County Wine. He said not to even bother with those so I stuck with what I Know and usually go for and I was pleasantly surprised and give it a five star. if you're in the area and you need some wine, they have some great wines. The prices are reasonable and happy employees willing to help you if you have any questions. The ambience is quiet nothing to write home about, but I loved how the basement feels like a wine cellar or wine library. I t is very very well put together. Definitely recommend.

Another Little Italy gem (and yes, my wallet cried a little, but with a happy heart)…read more Little Italy Market & Spirits is basically the neighborhood's pricier but worth the convenience spot! Thus minus one star. When I need something ASAP and don't feel like driving and hitting a whole grocery store, this spot saves the day! I don't drink much these days, but the alcohol section is wild in a good way. Red, white, bubbly, champagne, tequila, whiskies, whatever you want they got! The grocery section is decent and shines for me. They have fresh produce, awesome bread selection, tons of pasta varieties, and pre-made salad and snacks. Great excuse not to cook and if you're on the go. As a vegan shopper, this market does not discriminate. They actually have a great selection of vegan-friendly items: accidental vegan snacks, dips, organic options, dairy-free milks, and plant-based goodies tucked throughout the store. I even spotted gluten-free and vegan treats (even chocolate lovers won't be disappointed). If you're plant-based, you won't feel left out here. A quick go-to: Fresh salad, pita chips with some hummus. Maybe a cookie if you want to be naughty. Can't go wrong. Fresh and delish. Staff is friendly, fast, and conversational. Checking out is pleasant which is major to me. It makes or breaks my experience and whether I'll be a repeat customer. All in all, I'm fortunate to have another local spot in the neighborhood. Convenient, well-stocked, vegan-friendly, and kind people. Can't complain too much but lower prices is always welcome. I can support that. Tough times out here.

The guy pouring was so nice and knowledgeable. We liked the wine so much we grabbed a bottle and decided to drink it there. Added bonus: since it was one of the featured wines, the corkage was free. Bottlecraft is a bottle shop, bar, and cheese shop all in one small, perfectly curated space. They have a lovely outdoor seating area and some indoor seating as well. There are TVs inside, so we were able to catch some exciting March Madness moments while we hung out. When we paid, the host was super friendly and brought us a little ice bucket to keep our chilled wine cold, along with two glasses, and let us choose any table we wanted. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, plus tons of bottles and cans to go. I also appreciate the large section of canned mocktails and NA beers -- love seeing that. They carry wine, beer, vermouth, and more. In the back, tucked away, is Venissimo Cheese, which is amazing. You can order cheese plates, sandwiches, and other goodies to enjoy with your drinks. Definitely check out their website for upcoming events and their current tap list. Such a fun, easy, local spot -- I'll be back.

They now have both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it a great spot to actually hang out instead of just grabbing something to go. You can order beer or wine from their draft list and enjoy it there, or grab a bottle off the shelf and have them open it for you. Of course, you can also stock up and take everything home. Their beer selection is always impressive, with a wide range of styles and hard to find bottles, and the wine selection holds its own too. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Bonus: Venissimo is inside the store, so you can order grilled cheeses and enjoy them with your drink. A solid beer and a perfectly melty grilled cheese is hard to beat. Great selection, relaxed vibe, and now an even better space to enjoy it all. Definitely worth a visit.

"We don't buy for particular price points, but we like to sell wines that we enjoy, no matter the price." I bought a mixed case, and I was hooked. Every few months I would stop by, and buy a mixed case. I learned to ask, How much of this is available? If I liked it, I would call and reserve a case. Today, I stopped by to pick up a mixed case for the holidays. I had a photo on my phone of some bottles I had bought during a previous visit, hoping to buy more. I asked someone, Are any of these still available? His response, "Yes, No, Yes, and Yes." And before I could ask where they were, he said " Look out behind you. We're loading new inventory. Can you please get out of the way? " So I got out of the way. There were 2 or 3 people delivering wine, and a few more stocking and organizing. But there were no other customers in the store. Nobody bothered to ask me, "Can I help you?" I've never felt so invisible in my entire life. I wandered through the aisles, found a few bottles, paid for them, and left.
