i repeatedly asked for marshmallow syrup in my latte and yet when i read the sticker on my cup it said "liquid cane" syrup. on top of that, i had asked for soy in the other drink i ordered and when my mom tasted it she knew there was something wrong. after reading the sticker, she found that they put coconut milk. she asked if she could get it remade with soy (because that's what it was supposed to be made with) and the girl on bar looked at her and said "it says coconut milk" with an attitude that was very unnecessary. every time i come to this location i'm given attitude and my drinks are never made right. i've tried over and over to give this one a second chance but at this point i'm better off just driving the 5 minutes to the south main store to get my drinks made correctly and with high quality read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Salinas, California

This happened yesterday. I went there on my break, the manger recommended a new drink to me and I loved it. However it took more than 20 minutes for them to make it. I had to ask, the barista who rock my drink apologize and was completely sweet and kind. Thanks girl, although the manger & the cashier talked about me, as though I wasn't standing right there.... now I feel uncomfortable going back. I get it your busy it takes time, but not 20 minutes or more then to talk about me, that's just plain rude.... & here I am feeling awful because the barista who made my drink was awesome.... I won't be going back read more

Never stop at the Starbucks. The traffic is ridiculous getting on and off the freeway and now they no longer have a bathroom for customers... oh and it took us 15 minutes waiting to get our coffees. Never. read more

Went in to have a to meeting and ordered. Asked to use the bathroom and they said it now is not open to the public and is for employees only. We decided to leave and have our meeting elsewhere as they already had the money for drinks. They also forgot about the breakfast sandwich. So we waited extra time to leave to a restaurant to order food have the meeting and use a restroom that was there for paying customers. As for staff they were not the greatest and forgot things when there were 3 customers. Not going back to just get coffee. I get that people especially the homeless that live around there have abused the bathrooms but for a paying person who clearly is set up to work and they call them selves a place to come and hang it is not worth it there. read more

Worst Starbucks I ever visited. The have NO Bathroom which is the first time I ever experienced such a deficiency at a Starbucks. The server was of no assistance when I asked where I could find such facilities as I passed through Salinas on the way to Paso Robles. Surprised that Salinas allows such shoddy revive. read more

Stopped here on our way home. It wasn't busy and there were 2 baristas. We ordered 3 drinks. Hot chai latte, which was room temperature, hot white chocolate mocha with 5 pumps, was charged for 5 but tasted like it had 3 pumps, and a sweetened iced coffee, which wasn't sweetened at all. Won't stop there again. read more

Running late to work and stop for my coffee...only to have not 1 but 2 drinks and a breakfast sandwich made before mine. Both ladies ordered after me. When I asked if someone was making my drink I was kind of shrugged while told ya "I'm making it now." When I express my concern with the fact that 2 drinks were made ahead of mine I was told "well I'm making yours now". When I asked for a manager I was told with a smirk "she is not in". I asked when she would be in, I wanted to share my experience with her I was told with more of a smirk "I don't know later I guess she was supposed to be in at 7." I asked what her name was (the girl making drinks) she told me very care free Annalise. Well thanks Annalise for horrible customer service and smirking at my frustration...I wont be visiting your Starbucks anymore and will tell everyone I know to not do the same! It makes me wonder does this Starbucks always treat people this way or just when their manager doesn't come to work. Not a starbucks up to par at all! Everyone was not as cheerful as usual which is fine it is 7:45 am (even though I thought it was part of what they pride themselves on). I see why their yelp reviews are so low! read more

Came in here to get an exchange on a grim cup of decaf I bought from the Morgan Hill Starbucks. Second try was much better,

Excellent customer service! This is my crew...I am a regular and they always greet me by name and remember my order. Great attitudes, friendly, and doing a great job early in the morning. read more

Customer service here is always great! Ernie did an excellent job after I had a cup if coffee that I didn't like.

Worst customer service, very unfriendly, don't make eye contact. The place was empty, I ordered a plain decaf coffee and it took over 15 minutes to get, and that's only because I asked about it. After inquiring they acted like it was my fault, no apologies or anything. Every time I attempt to give this place another chance it's always an epic fail read more

Horrible service. 3 staff working. 1 making drinks 1 individual leaning on a broom staring at customers and a 3rd individual taking orders once there was more than 1 customer in line. 20 orders in front of us. Will drive further down the road before stopping here again. If you are looking for a quick cup of coffee don't stop here. read more

If you want quick cup of coffee do not stop here. Still waiting and it has been 20 minuets. This is ridiculously bad.

used to hang out at this place with some friends before going out for a drive.place is kinda small, service is a hit/miss,but at least its close to the freeway ;) read more

Service was horrible. The lady who took our order needs to find a new job as she has no people skills. Then to top it all off, our drinks were were made wrong. Will not return to this location. read more

I am not a frequent Starbucks customer but I had a gift card so I figured why not. I go in for a cup of tea and while I am ordering, the cashier turns away and begins chatting with the barista behind her. Okay, I repeat my order and take it with a grain of salt only...a small (short?) cup of tea is nearly $5? I ask and she rolls her eyes and asks, " What, you want a refund?" I'm sorry, that is exceptionally unprofessional. I take the tea since it's already prepared (mind you it's just unsweetened green tea) and pay it without a word. Do not come here. In discussing this encounter with my niece who was a barista in college, I have visited other Starbucks and found the service to be much better! read more

Dirty. Rude manager. Regular employees are great, just don't keep things clean.

I love coming to this Starbucks. However I did get sick with the banana walnut bread.

Super slow!! Okay so I've been here three times and is always really slow plus my iced caramel macchiato always taste like shit when I get it from this location. I gave this place three tries but I just can't anymore. The first time I thought service was slow bc it was really early in the morning and I thought my iced caramel macchiato was not good bc it was probably someone new. Second time I go in and again it was slow but this time it was noon. My iced caramel macchiato tasted once again horrible and I was upset I didn't taste it inside until I got to work or else I would of had them remake it. Third time here today and I ordered my iced caramel macchiato which took forever to get. Once I got on the freeway I notice it didn't taste good. I had even asked for extra caramel but that didn't even do the trick. I was so upset with myself for trying to like this location for my convenience that is close by for when I need some coffee before work. I'm even a gold member n I've been for years but this Starbucks is not good plus is slow. read more

Stopped in here on our way back to southern California from San Francisco. I ordered 4 drinks for my family. The place was empty when I got there. There were 3 people working. A very nice lady, Alyssa, took my order. She did a great job and was what I expect from starbucks. Another girl started on my order making one drink at a time while the third barista (who happened to be heavily tattooed with beautiful art), stood and just chatted gossiping while the very slow girl made our drinks. As I stood there watching two girls do nothing to help get our order done, I noticed that the place was absolutely disgusting. The counters and back of the sink looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Not like a mess that was deferred due to a rush. Like long term blatant lazy neglect. I frequent starbucks a lot, and have never seen anything like this. I am a huge fan of the brand, it's history, and the company culture. I know the CEO would have been highly embarrassed if he were standing there with me. read more

Stopped here while traveling thru.... Normal breakfast sandwiches and drinks Quick service as we got there and it wasn't crowded. Only one bathroom so had to wait a while to use it. read more

Small, clean and basic Starbucks not too far from 101 freeway. Polite staff and quick service - perfectly acceptable for a road trip pit stop. Lost one star because the barista who made the coffee didn't know the difference between a flat white and a cappuccino. read more

Very dirty bathroom, eating area not clean, floor dirty, trash overflowing. One star for good service.

I am saddened that I have to give this Starbucks locations only 2 Stars. Typically they have friendly staff, good service, and decently prepared coffee. Upon a recent purchase, I was charged a higher price than listed on the menus. I asked about this price, I was brushed off without receiving a good answer for the difference in price. I understand coffee at "premium," locations costs more, but to brush off a regular customer seems like a poor choice. This once regular customer now finds his "premium" coffee elsewhere, like Philz. read more

I really like this location, and some of the people who have worked here longer are really great. The seating is roomy, although it gets busy on the weekends, it's typical. There are lots of usual customers and in/out baristas that work here. I guess recently because of the new opening stores, there has been an influx of new faces. I came in on my usual Saturday, and I wait till the rush and swarm of customers die down before I order because I can wait. When I came up to the register I was not greeted by this new person, not prompted to order or anything. So I just ordered, no name asked, and when I paid the older lady just said try again. Her mannerisms came off as "I don't want to be here" and somewhat mentally discouraged and flustered. I was a bit guarded towards her because I would never expect that from the people who work here. I just walked away and waited. But I felt because it was so busy 5 minutes before I went up, she kind of took it out of me cause I didn't let her catch break? On the weekends it's busy, so just get use to? I later found out that she was not a new employee but the person in charge. I miss the old manager there now. Lead by example, and because it's customer service sometimes even when it does get busy, the smile and greeting should always be there, because an employee can't take it out on the next customer. They didn't do anything to cause your own frustration. read more

we just got coffee at this location and found it odd how light our drinks felt but didn't think too much about it until we opened our cups and saw that they weren't even 3/4 of the way full. i basically payed for a grande and got a tall. read more
