The smoothies were just simple and did not extra Tajin even after I paid for them. As well as false advertising on wall stating 75 cents for extra shots of Tajin while they actually charged me 99 cents and the employee just said that it must be old, so basically stating that they do not keep up with offers and price changes. Love this location! I always order on the app and pick up to go. My fav order include the peanut butter mood or the peanut butter and banana protein. Both are delicious and I use them as a meal replacement when I'm not in the mood to eat. I also like doing a ginger shot and wheat grass shot every once in a while. Every time I get my drink here, one of the girls behind the counter just says my name at normal speaking volume while there are blenders running 3 feet away to properly drown out her voice. I remember a few years ago when people used to take pride in their work, they would remember who ordered drinks and yell your name out. Now they just put a drink on the table and walk away. The "employee of the month" employee had time to help me but decided to wait for a order to come trough her scanner. The other employee who was avoiding me at all costs kept his back towards me to avoid helping me out. The two young men working in this Jamba Juice greeted me as I walked in. I was having a difficult time choosing a flavor, so one of them said "Take your time."wWith a great big smile. The other one approached me with a tray full of miniature cups and said "Would you like to enjoy a free sample while you are deciding?" I give them five stars for customer service. The samples were of the Aloha pineapple flavor which immediately convinced me that was exactly what I wanted. I chose one of the free boosts (some cost extra). With temps soaring over 80 degrees and with a steady line out the door, these guys turned out smoothies, juices and energy bowls with amazing dexterity. The young lady taking orders maintained a professional and pleasant demeanor while the juice team steadfastly churned out smoothie after smoothie. Not only were there high temps but today was the last day for the BOGO smoothie/juice deal so customers were coming in armed with their codes and coupons. I know many here like this location...and I dont write reviews to complain about servce, mistakes, etc...UNLESS...its recurring. In my last 5 visits, I've had very long waits...and not due to being very busy...except today...but today illustrated the issue is due to poor management and poor training. Again...this is not a reflection on the product, or about 1 particular mistake...or the employees...they all are rather friendly and seem to be trying their best. When I walked in today, there were 9 people ahead of me...they each had already ordered their beverages. They had 2 employees only...a young man, the shift lead...the other, a very friendly young woman, possibly still novice team member. So she takes my order...no issue...and then takes the orders of the next three people who followed in behind me. I step back to wait...and no about 6 or7 minutes go by when I realize no drinks are being made... The young man is trying to organize and clean blender pitchers and restock some items. He finally begins making orders but keeps getting side tracked. He finally gets the young woman to start helping, but apparently she isn't trained to do many things yet. She starts making a few orders she is trained for...but as soon as another customer walks in, she stops to take their order. I've now been here 10 or 12 minutes before a beverage comes out...for someone who'd been there well before me. The young woman kept taking orders and didn't bother getting orders out...while the young man stayed buried barely able to process orders. The problem aside from the young lady not being trained, is that she didn't realize that the time spent taking new drink orders simply added wait time to existing orders and prolonging customer wait times. I mean the new customers were going to be in for a wait too...but why should those of us already waiting have the new orders wait added to our time? These type of issues show a lack of training, which clearly speaks to a lack of leadership or effort by a manager or owner. Which is why I'm bringing this up in hopes of them fixing this problem. The waffle is toasted perfectly, its nice and crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Have you had a McGriddle from McDonalds? You know those buns with maple syrup sweetness twisted in there? That's the best example I have to describe the magical sweetness that bursts when you bite, its crazy! Jamba Juice was doing this new promotion for the impossible sandwich where you get a dollar off your smoothie when you buy one, they tasted great so I went back the next day. I didn't get a dollar off my smoothie, which I didn't notice until later I thought I would get the dollar off since they still had the signs up promoting it. Then I came back a week later, the signs were still up. I told one of the employees. He just told me basically there was nothing they could do. I was just tiring to warn them that what they are doing is false advertising and they could get in trouble. It's not hard to take down a few signs and I had made them aware of them twice. I will try not to come to this location. I tried to get smoothies thick in consistency in 2 occasions. Both attempts were failures. The employees say "It's hard to make a smoothie THICK without any ice." The manager that tried to make my smoothie verbalized his complaints in front of me. *which was very unprofessional in my opinion---but that's what yelp's for* Also, I heard a customer saying "they put too much ice & it taste nasty". I must say that my acai smoothie tasted a little watered down (it may have been the acai mixture, they've added too much water to "stretch" their product.) & very thin in consistency even when I requested it to be thick. I give 1 star just because it's jamba juice & I'm getting my nutrients... But it's not the way I requested it. Sand City Jamba isn't worth your cash. I was hoofing way out of my bounds when I took a wrong turn and ended up here in the well lit, citrus smelling, gad flap. Brother was I ever in for a dizzy spell. First I lay the old glassy orbs on the big print and slid them back and forth in the old noggin, but the jack nuts behind the counter kept asking me if I was ready to order. Each time I had to wind up the old skull eggs and take a crack at it again. After a lengthy spell of word chomping I realized the menu was a repeat of the same ingredients - strawberries, bananas, apple juice, etc... It's like Mexican food - all the same ingredients thrown together in different order. BAM slap a new name on it and strawberry passion can be Banana delight. Anyhoot. I ordered a concoction called the Berry Ballz or something in the Power size. Power size - don't you mean Large? What the heck fire happened to good old small, medium, and large. For the love of goober peas, why does everyone have to reinvent the English language? Give me good old Large, or even a Grande in way of uniting with those neighbors south of the border. But Power size? What would happen if I waltz into a Starbucks and asked for a Power sized coffee? We may come to blows over the subject. I like to avoid fistycuffs when ever possible. So I toddle on over to the jack nuts sporting a headless hat, a squirt in my eye grin, and a "power sized Berry a knife in my back please". Then I notice his hand blades, the old nose diggers.
