After having driven up from Montecito yesterday, my husband and I needed someplace to get something quick for a late lunch. We went to the coffee shop a couple doors down looking for sandwiches, but they had already sold out and that's another story. I saw this perfectly pressed bowl sign, I decided that an açai bowl sounded good and clean. I ordered the nutty monkey I think? It was bananas and almonds on an açaí base with peanut butter on top and I added honey. I did not need the honey though everything was sweet enough without it. My husband built his own bowl. It looked amazing. The portions are larger than what I'm used to in San Diego so it was an effort to finish the whole thing, but I didn't want to be wasteful! Ha! The staff was super friendly and very fast. The place was immaculate, and when I was sitting there, I noticed that they had won the best smoothie award for the Monterey area. Parking can be an issue I believe there are 25 minutes spots right out front but around the corner there are hour and a half spots along the street. There's a lot of restaurants up and down this block so a lot of people are looking for parking at the same time. read more

This place is very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and works fast. Even if you go during a rush, you will be helped and served quickly. Their juices are unique and refreshing. I had one of the juices for energy and I actually felt energized after drinking it. The açaí bowls are also really fresh and tasty. It's a perfect healthy snack or breakfast to start the day. read more

One word -- AMAZING. First I was hooked on their fresh juices, then moved to yummy smoothies and now I've upgraded to their incredible delicious açaí bowls. Honestly they're the best I've ever had. All the staff is friendly and on top of it. Recently had Enrique help me with my (complicated) order and he killed it!!! Personable, efficient and consistant. I come here about 2x a week. Stopped by for breakfast on a visit to Monterey recently. I ordered an açaí bowl with almond butter & protein blended in, and then was able to choose up to 3 toppings. I thought the açaí was really delicious and refreshing, and my friend also enjoyed her pitaya bowl she ordered! I do think the quantity of toppings was a bit skimpy though, especially compared to açaí spots in LA that are extremely generous with the amount of toppings they add. Let me tell you, me and my dad have been coming to this place for years and it never disappoints. I am all about being on a good health tip, and perfectly pressed provides everything I look for Lots of varieties of fresh juices and smoothies. Also to mention the delicious açaí bowls. Every time I come here it's a great experience ‍ The food is always fresh and on point. I get greeted when I walk in and the employees make an effort to be friendly and helpful, which is much appreciated. In particular, Enrique and Jordan do their THANG when making my acai bowls. I really enjoyed this refreshing start to the day. I've never had a pitaya bowl so it was cool to try. I had one with almond butter blended into it with granola, banana, & strawberries with additional pea protein added. This tasted really good I was surprised. I haven't had the opportunity to try them out yet. I will however warn if you order through DoorDash who ever is taking the order will change your order from delivery to pick up with out warning. I don't believe that's very good customer service. Especially since you believe you're having it delivered and then you end up checking it's been switched over to pick up. So far from this experience I will definitely not be trying them out. read more

Have been here multiple times and their açaí bowls are . We get the peanut butter one and I honestly can't get enough. We've had a few of their smoothies as well, and love them too. Their juices are all well made and always fresh. Service is hit or miss but never terrible. There are some staff that don't seem happy to help while others are very friendly. Never anything that would turn me off from coming back though . read more

What the hell is not understandable about wanting your carefully decorated baked goods to not get smear in the box?! Why was that so hard to understand? I have a photo of the cupcakes-- the only undamaged one in front. I'm reluctant to make any more purchases because they made it an unpleasant experience for no good reason

As anyone who has tried to lose weight knows, it is very expensive to join these types of programs. While I didn't mind spending the money, going in with my eyes wide opened, the program seriously lacks any type of structure. Cornerstone advertises no shots, or gimmicks, yet the drops are a gimmick, so I don't think they can say there are no gimmicks. Then, the next "gimmick" is that they put you on this table that allegedly works the fat loose - it just seemed like a lot of smoke and mirrors. Also , I met with Trina ONE TIME on the initial buy in and then you deal with Julia. While Julia is very nice, no one ever explained what her qualifications are. You go in each week to see Julia. Julia weighs you, measures you, and takes your photo. Then she puts you on the gimmick table and that's it. That's it except for the push to buy more products from them. I joined in May. Went on vacation a few weeks later and when I came back I waited for them to call me to get back on the Julia schedule. Of course, that call never came. I feel like Cornerstone Wellness exploits people in their desperation to lose weight and , like lots of things in this world, it's all about the hard sell and the money.

You'll see the sideways milk jug sign and a ground poster showing what the sell here. Inside, it feels a little dated with the tan-brown floor tiles and tiled wall behind the cashier. The menu is on four boards on the left, which is a little awkwardly position in my opinion. It would make more sense if it were behind the cashier or in a smaller version above it. There were some nice décor here. Shelves on the right showcase merchandise with greenery and refrigerated goos were near the cashier. The main problem here is the heat. It was August when I cam here and the place felt like an oven. Not the best vibe for a smoothie shop. Service is another weak spot. Pace is a little slow and we had to wait around for 10 minutes for one drink. I got the Vitamin Sea and it tasted like the most healthiest smoothie I've ever had. If you like your drinks on the sweeter side, I would as for some sugar or additives. The drinks are solid and are packed with nutrients that are good for your stomach. read more

Perfectly Pressed is SUCH a great addition to downtown Monterey. The juices are delicious (my favorite is the Beta Bomb!) and the owners Alex and Kate have done an amazing job with the space. Plus, their commitment to give back to the community they grew up in by bringing a modern, family-owned and people-first business to the Peninsula is so wonderful.
