Saw this place while walking downtown Monterey and thought it was a Pressed Juicery. Upon walking in was greeted immediately and the notice the place was very clean. Young lady that helped us was very nice even though we came in 19 minutes before the place was closing. Got the green dream juice and the Brett Berky açaí bowl. Green juice came in a glass bottle and was very refreshing. The açaí bowl was delicious and had granola, strawberries & blueberries. After having driven up from Montecito yesterday, my husband and I needed someplace to get something quick for a late lunch. We went to the coffee shop a couple doors down looking for sandwiches, but they had already sold out and that's another story. I saw this perfectly pressed bowl sign, I decided that an açai bowl sounded good and clean. I ordered the nutty monkey I think? It was bananas and almonds on an açaí base with peanut butter on top and I added honey. I did not need the honey though everything was sweet enough without it. My husband built his own bowl. It looked amazing. The portions are larger than what I'm used to in San Diego so it was an effort to finish the whole thing, but I didn't want to be wasteful! Ha! The staff was super friendly and very fast. The place was immaculate, and when I was sitting there, I noticed that they had won the best smoothie award for the Monterey area. Parking can be an issue I believe there are 25 minutes spots right out front but around the corner there are hour and a half spots along the street. There's a lot of restaurants up and down this block so a lot of people are looking for parking at the same time. read more

Stopped by for breakfast on a visit to Monterey recently. I ordered an açaí bowl with almond butter & protein blended in, and then was able to choose up to 3 toppings. I thought the açaí was really delicious and refreshing, and my friend also enjoyed her pitaya bowl she ordered! I do think the quantity of toppings was a bit skimpy though, especially compared to açaí spots in LA that are extremely generous with the amount of toppings they add. I haven't had the opportunity to try them out yet. I will however warn if you order through DoorDash who ever is taking the order will change your order from delivery to pick up with out warning. I don't believe that's very good customer service. Especially since you believe you're having it delivered and then you end up checking it's been switched over to pick up. Have been here multiple times and their açaí bowls are . We get the peanut butter one and I honestly can't get enough. We've had a few of their smoothies as well, and love them too. Their juices are all well made and always fresh. Service is hit or miss but never terrible. There are some staff that don't seem happy to help while others are very friendly.
