$28. Chicken sandwich & 2 cookies. This place is all organic, with products priced fairly for the quality. I ordered the chicken sandwich on their very delicious homemade brioche bun, along with a molasses cookie and a farm stand cookie. Everything was delicious. There always seemed to be a line, so plan accordingly. I arrived at 10:52 hoping to grab a breakfast burrito, but didn't make it to the front of the line until after 11. Even though I could still see breakfast items coming out of the kitchen, there is a firm cutoff. So, if you're arriving close to the transition time, don't count on squeezing in a breakfast order. And to the person who was in front of me in line and ordered the last piece of zucchini bread: consider yourself lucky you weren't tackled from behind. ;-) The stand itself has a little bit of everything: pick-your-own flowers, a grocery store, deli, salad bar, educational walks and talks, and plenty of space for families. It's definitely family-friendly, and while the kids can run a little rampant, the size and atmosphere of the place make it feel more lively than chaotic. One suggestion for the shop is to have a separate line for grocery purchases. After eating, I wanted to do some shopping, but decided I wasn't going to wait another 15 minutes in the food line just to buy a few items. A separate checkout would make the whole experience even better. All in all, it's a very good stop! It's also a dog-friendly facility, so please make sure your dogs are friendly too. During my visit, a couple had two bullmastiffs which are beautiful and big dogs, but unfortunately, those two were having a difficult time around other dogs. Whenever another dog came into view, they would bark aggressively and try to go after them. Since they were tethered to the table, the dog's frustration spilled over and they'd "jaw" at each-other. Having been raised with dogs in the house, I'm a big believer that bringing a dog into a public space comes with the responsibility of making sure those dogs are comfortable and well-socialized enough to handle the environment. In this case, the dogs were overwhelmed, and it made the experience less comfortable for the other dogs, their owners, and everyone in the yard. I certainly don't expect every dog to be perfect, but if a dog is repeatedly reacting aggressively to other dogs, it may be better for everyone to take a break from the public setting. After all, dog-friendly works best when the dogs are friendly too. To dog owners -- please be mindful of how your dogs are behaving in a shared public space. Correcting your dog when necessary is completely understandable, because sometimes a quick reminder is all they need. But if your dog requires ongoing training, discipline, or repeated correction to manage their behavior around other dogs, that's probably better handled in a setting specifically suited for training. Don't let one difficult situation take away from the experience of everyone else including well behaved dogs. And to the shop -- it's okay to step in when necessary. If a dog is repeatedly creating an uncomfortable or unsafe environment for others, asking the owners to remove the dog from the public area is a reasonable thing to do. It helps keep the venue enjoyable for everyone, including the dogs who are behaving themselves. read more

I absolutely love coming to this place. It's a perfect spot for anyone, but especially kids and families. Everything looks beautiful with lots of things for young ones to do : herb garden (you can smell different herbs and talk about them), playground, big chairs that kids LOVE to climb on, berry garden where kids can pick a couple of raspberries or blackberries. A really cute farm stand with a garden in the back! We came to check out the market inside which sells Earthbound produce, local specialty food products, flowers and doubles as a cafe. We grabbed a cold brew to go and then wandered around the garden in the back. It wasn't the season for berries but I loved walking through herb garden and trying to identify what herbs there were. The backyard space is great for dining outside on a sunny day and it's the ideal spot for a picnic. They also sell local beer and wine which you can get by the glass! read more

First off there was a little farm stand that you can buy produce, books, and items from small business from the area. The kitchen also offered a lot of food and drink options as well as some awesome soft serve. I got the chicken sandwich with a side of salad. The chicken was a little on the dry side but the salad was so good (and I'm not even a salad person). On top of this, they allowed bookings to pick your own flower bouquet in their field which looked like a lot of fun but we passed on that. There was a lot tables and seats around the farm stand for family's to get some food and enjoy the scenery. They also allowed access to their farm area so you can walk through their herb garden, fruit trees, berry bushes, and flower field. This place is magical. If you can make a trip out to go, GO! I've been here once before and came again today with my family to celebrate my Mom's birthday. They have a restaurant and coffee shop to order food, drinks, coffee, and pastries. They have an immaculately cute and adorable outside area, including benches, tables with seating, pumpkins (during this time of year), and a garden shed where you can purchase little farm-related trinkets. In the back, there is a swing set, corn maze, Native American-inspired tent, and a larger area filled with rows and rows of flowers and fruit that is available to be picked. The place is so aesthetic for photos, relaxing to spend time with loved ones, and a great people watching spot, especially for families with small kids running around having fun. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here and not realize it. It's so relaxing. I also absolutely loved the hanging lights above the yard in the outside area and mentioned to my family today it would be a great place for people to get married. Had a fun morning here with my husband and 3 year old. We arrived shortly after they opened at 8 am and ordered breakfast. The avocado toast and salad were really good and a pretty decent price given how expensive everything in the area is. The bacon cheddar biscuit was huge and also tasty. As a leader in the modern-day organic food movement and with literal roots in Carmel some 40 years ago, Earthbound is a perfect spot to enjoy fresh food in a gorgeous outdoor setting. Setup like a roadside farmstand, you'll find everything from a flower stand to a small grocery and cafe. There's plenty of outdoor seating, some fire pits, and a grass area where you can bring your own picnic blanket. The farmstand itself is chock-full of goodies and a little cramped. Note, dogs are not allowed inside the store. We were greeted by the staff and helped ourselves to the printed menus on the wall. For whatever reason, the veggie sandwich sounded like a winner. I opted to add some cheese to make it extra delectable. My partner opted for the BLT. Each came with a decent sized side salad topped with their golden balsamic vinaigrette. My mouth still waters at this. Check out the recipe at the end! The sandwiches were crafted on house-made multigrain bread - a real treat if you've been used to that processed stuff. We shared halves of our sandwiches and both agreed that the veggie with cheese was a winner. Crispy, gooey, and full of fresh-riped veggies made this a fun grown-up grilled cheese. Perfect for a sunny yet slightly chilly February afternoon. If only we would have ordered the soup! We concluded our visit with a quick jaunt around their gardens, located behind the farmstand. Dogs, understandably, are not allowed back here too. But we did spot a sweet bob-tailed cat amongst the emerging tulips! Cute little farm with lots to do! We noticed the flower fields off the side of the road on our way to a winery and knew we had to stop on our way back. Parking was pretty rough so we ended up parking nearby at our hotel and walking over which wasn't too bad. You can pick your own flowers here! ($25 for a dozen, $50 for 24). We ended up just walking around, there was a lot of see here, an herb garden, a kitchen garden, the flower garden and an area for kids. There is also a cute cafe / organic food store on site with a variety of food, ice cream, and other goodies. I got the house made chai and it was so yummy! So spicy and sweet. What an awesome spot! We actually came out to do the Pick your own Tulips! Afterwards we decided we would return for breakfast. Next day we went back. Actually got there right before breakfast ended (11am) so we opted for lunch. We both had the BLT, came with a big fresh salad, loved it. The BLT was on nicely toasted multi grain bread. The salad was perfectly dressed. We both had coffee, he had drip and I had a cappuccino- it was delicious! The lady offered him steamed milk and made a fresh pot of coffee so he didn't get the bottom of the old pot. How nice is that? We sat outside, even though it was chilly the surroundings are peaceful.
