Customized my Acai bowl, no strawberries or blueberries with extra granola. What I got was a bowl of granola with brown bananas and a scoop of Acai. I had to run my smoothie through the ninja because I kept sipping chunks of fruit clogging the straw. I have frequented several Jamba Juices all over California, and in my opinion this is the BEST! They always make whatever I choose perfect. What I mean by that is, it is always thick and creamy - not watery. I usually choose the smoothies - Caribbean Passion, Mango A go go.. Everyone I have had an interaction with has been friendly and polite, that includes other patrons. Your just happy to get a delicious well made beverage. I'm super picky when it comes to getting my money's worth in anything I purchase. I will take back if I'm unsatisfied, and like I have said perfect every-time. Highly recommend. read more

My husband and 9 year old daughter walked into Jamba Juice today, 11/4/20. The service offered to them was blunt void of a greet. In comes a caucasian customer right after them. They get greeted by the same Caucasian employee with an overwhelming greeting. As a college student I worked in retail, I greeted all customers with the same enthusiastic presence. There's nothing like a fresh fruit smoothie on a warm afternoon. And Jamba Juice is usually my go-to place for it. On more than one visit to this location I have run into a few issues. The first being a sunny weekday afternoon...... I had ordered 4 smoothies and was maybe the 3rd person in line. While the first 2 orders where completed, I waited eagerly for mine to be ready. As I stood at the counter waiting, orders for the customers behind me began to be called. And if that wasn't bad enough, the orders for the customers that were ahead of me were being remade and called out again. All of this before my 4 drinks were even made once! 25 minutes later I received 2 correct drinks and 2 incorrect drinks. No apology. No compensation. Nearly a half an hour of waiting, and given the wrong drinks you'd think they would try to fix it or make the customer happy before leaving. Needless to say I began making the drive to North Main to get my refreshment. That lasted only a few months before I decided to give the South Main location another chance. Overall nothing much has changed. I think that there are still quite a few inconsistencies that could easily be fixed. I found out that this isn't a corporate location. That started o bring everything together for me. Franchises usually fall by the waist side when quality control is a factor. There are only a couple of employees at this location that I feel actually care about the product that they serve to customers and they take care to make sure that the order is correct. Last week I went in for an apple cinnamon oatmeal and an all fruit smoothie. Pomegranate Paradise is my favorite. Smoothie was great, could have been blended a little longer, but wasn't terribly chunky. When I got to my desk to enjoy my breakfast, I was disappointed to find berries on my oatmeal. Sorry, berries just aren't my thing. What really gets me is that there wasn't anyone else in the store when I was there. How could you get that wrong? I like this location because it is the only one on the South side of Salinas. I think that there is room for improvement for sure. read more

I came in after working out to get my usual tropical greens with whey protein. I gave the instruction to blend then poured in the biggest glass then apply ice. I'm not sure what's wrong with this person ( Chris?) - he kept asking me several times ..... over and over for the instructions. He was so annoying and I felt like he came from a different planet not understanding what I was saying. I had to just leave coz I was so frustrated. Usually this place is great but today I got some pretty rude customer service. I asked for an açaí bowl with peanut butter as a topping. It's been done that way for me before. Today I get my order and notice that the peanut butter was blended. So I make a comment and I'm pretty sure it was the store manager who simply responds "it's not a topping" and walks away. It took them 3 times to get the drink right. First he filled a medium cup and I said to him. Didn't get a large. He looked on the paper and said oh ok and proceeded to dump out the contents of the medium cup to the large cup. Then it look to light of a color for my drink but thought ok. Then I tasted my drink and it was banana based drink which is fine if I ordered banana flavored. The guy said to the so called manager that my drink didn't taste right. There's a difference between blueberries and bananas. My thing is what if I was allergic to bananas. read more
