Your bowls, smoothies, juices are delicious. This review is in regard to the Perfectly Pressed app and how I have tried twice to order from the app and it would not allow it. I came in today to order my bowls and ask and was told that the mix ins were no longer available in store so it can not be ordered in the app and that is probably why it isn't working. I asked if the app was going to be fixed to which the response "I'm not sure". I then asked if the owner/manager was available and the response was "no they aren't". Went in today Feb 19th around 4:15ish, asked for the usually bowl that I get a Nutty Monkey with whey protein, the girl working at the register advised me they no longer do "mix-ins" with their bowls when I told her I had just gotten a Nutty Monkey with whey protein just last week she told me they stopped about a month a half ago, and didn't say anything else and proceeded to ring me up, as she called my order I said "thank you" with nothing in return, not the greatest customer service. I find it strange that there is nothing advertised regarding the no "mix-ins" to bowls when I'm ordering from a smoothie place, if there is mix-ins but can't add them to smoothie bowls why have mix-ins? Perfect for something light, healthy, and refreshing. After the long holiday season and lots of travel I needed a healthy option for my lunch date-perfectly pressed did not disappoint. I ordered the nutty monkey bowl, and my friend ordered a custom bowl. The service was quick and the bowls were delicious. My only complaint with the service is one ingredient was left out in my friends bowl. There were a few seating options inside as well as out. It was a little cold inside as the door was left open (I'm assuming for ventilation- yay COVID precautions). The bowls are $12 and the smoothies are $11. I still struggle with paying those prices for something I could easily make at home, however, convenience is expensive. Perfectly pressed got me excited with an acai bowl so close to where I was staying. Looking at the menu I had high expectations given it looked like you could really customize your bowl. Previous reviews seemed to back that up. Unfortunately they have switched to using a pre made sorbet for the base. I'm 99% sure it is the acai roots sorbet that you can buy at the store. Monterey pressed juice was the worst manager, she told me off for parking in a perfectly pressed designated area. made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe while harassing me not to park in her "employee parking" which was NOT STATED ON THE SIGN. the parking lot clearly says CUSTOMER PARKING. I don't know what she had a reason to bother me over and over as I was already in my car about to leave. so I showed her my product from her store and she kept harassing me, then a homeless man intervened which made me feel more uncomforatble. Love the juice, love the acai bowls which are especially good. But it seems that more often than not they screw up the order. If you order online, they don't see it until you arrive to pick it up, if you add to the order they charge you for it and then forget to add it to the order. This has happened to me more than a few times. So, good product but not great service. UPDATE: Originally this was a 3 star review. But within minutes (!) of posting it the owner Alex responded to me directly with an explanation and refunded my costs. That is some over-the-top service in my book!! Their juices are delicious, BUT if you are putting in an order for one of their juice cleanses beware. They require 24 hours notice, I admit it I screwed up entering my order online. I called them within an 1 hour of opening to explain when I wanted to pick up my order ( 48 hours in advance). That same day after 5 pm, I get I call from Sophia that my juices were pressed and ready to go! I wasn't mentally prepared yet to start my cleanse, but I had no choice but to pick up my juices the very next morning. So if do a cleanse make sure they get your order right. read more

Their seasonal juices Sweet Choke & Summer Love are my favorite! If I ever feel a cold coming on I get Rad Booster and Green Dream or Rad Booster and Super Green. I think one of them used to be called the flu shot. It really helps prevent me from feeling crappy, low energy, and weak when I can tell my immune system is about to start fighting something off. I know recently they closed their other locations in Marina, Seaside and Watsonville, but I really hope they can stay open because their juices are great and healthy and it is always a bummer when places go out of business. Especially a local store/chain, and they source locally as well. So if people ever wonder why the prices might be a little more than expected take that into consideration. :) Last time I went to the Marina one they offered stamp cards for a free drink so I thought that was cool.
