Emma has somehow managed to turn ordering a coffee into an experience where I felt like I was personally inconveniencing her by existing. That's honestly an impressive skill. From the moment I walked up, she came across as rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in providing even the bare minimum level of customer service. Her energy could've curdled the milk before it ever made it into the latte. A smile seemed to be under lock and key, and every interaction felt like I was asking for a personal favor instead of purchasing a drink. What stood out even more was that she also appeared dismissive and short with her coworkers. The overall atmosphere suggested someone who simply didn't want to be there, and unfortunately that attitude seemed to affect both customers and the rest of the team. I understand everyone has bad days, but if this is how she typically interacts with both customers and coworkers, it reflects poorly on the store. Starbucks is known for creating a welcoming atmosphere, and unfortunately, this experience accomplished the exact opposite. The coffee was fine. Very clean, cute Starbucks location with a beautiful sunset view from the parking lot. Service was friendly and Starbucks is pretty consistent with their quality of coffee and food. Although I don't go to Starbucks that often so that could be why I haven't been disappointed. I'd recommend this location for sure read more

This location is convenient, right off the 60 FWY (Central/Watkins exit) on the corner of Sycamore Canyon and Central next to the Shell station. Drive-thru and plenty of parking. I have been a fan since opening day, but lately, Tuesdays have been consistently disappointing. I am not sure if they are short-staffed or just overwhelmed on this specific day. Today, I stopped by before work for a simple drip coffee. What normally takes five minutes elsewhere took 15 minutes here, making me late for work. While the coffee tasted great and the barista at the window was friendly, watching the crew move slowly during the morning rush was frustrating. I can no longer rely on this location for my pre-work caffeine fix so I will skip this spot on my morning commutes from now on. read more

I wanted to leave feedback for this Starbucks location near my home, as I've been a regular since it opened. Unfortunately, I've had a constant issue with order consistency -- especially with my usual hot chai tea. The taste and preparation seem to vary almost every time I order it. I also frequently order a ham & Swiss croissant (which is often overheated) and/or a plain bagel, extra toasted, with cream cheese. On several occasions I've been handed what is basically warm bread -- not extra toasted as requested. Since these bagels are frozen, they taste much better well-toasted; otherwise they're cold and chewy. I've also received the wrong cream cheese flavors, including walnut cream or other varieties I didn't order. Another frustration is the tipping prompt that appears before I even receive my order. It's uncomfortable to tip in advance when I don't yet know if my order will be correct. Drive-thru interactions often feel rushed, and when I've tried to clarify or correct my order, the response has sometimes felt irritated, or rushed, rather than helpful. This is my "home" Starbucks, so it's disappointing to leave the drive-thru feeling unsatisfied and like I've wasted both time and money -- especially when this is usually my first meal on my way to work. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that order accuracy, listening, and overall customer care can improve, because I would truly love to enjoy coming to this location. read more

Womp womp! Stopped through here on Mother's Day around 10:15, through the DT and service was slllloooow! And my coffee tasted like a sugar bomb I got a triple espresso in a venti iced cup w/the brown sugar cold foam, which I get on a regular basis but this one tasted soooooo sweet! I couldn't even finish it. My husband's drink also did not look or taste right. This is a new location just off the freeway offramp. It was a nice hot day and as soon as we walked in we felt the air conditioning chill. It was so cold inside we decided to go outside. The two drinks we ordered were ready and they were made exactly to our liking. read more

This Starbucks is the most recent addition to Riverside located just off the 60 freeway and Central exit, on Sycamore Canyon Blvd (north of Central, west of the 60 freeway). Much-needed in this part of town, it offers the same menu as other Starbucks chains. It includes a Drive-Thru and in-store cafe seating. The interior is beautiful and clean. In addition, it offers free WiFi and wonderful service from their staff. This new Starbucks location is open daily from 4:30am to 10:30pm. And is behind the newly-built Shell gas station that is still under const Overall, it's exciting to finally have something in this once-empty lot near the freeway. read more

Don't go to this wack location! They are cheap crooks! Ordered a large iced coffee and they fill it to the very top with ice. They also use small ice pellets so there's even less space and not the big Ice chips like most Starbucks use. This is the second time this has happened. once is an accident, twice is intentional. I FOUND A BUG IN MY DRINK!! I am so grossed out I had an iced shaken espresso with cold foam. I drank some of it and I had a lot of foam on the lid so I took the lid off to get the foam off and found a bug on the foam right where the drink hole is. Thank god I didn't take another drink because I probably would've drank the bug... no idea if it was just in the drink or was in the foam to begin with. This is a new location, while the location is great, the access in and out is terrible. However, as far as the customer experience goes, this Starbucks has by far, the best customer service of any of stores in this area. drinks were fine but the two girls on shift at 4:30pm, 9-24 had nasty looks on their faces as though I had just punched them despite the fact I was polite and held manners. The girl on the register with the orange/ginger hair in particular looked impatient even though I was waiting there for my drinks. I work in customer service but I don't think it's a good idea to put someone who can't control their facial expressions on a register. read more

I have been going through the drive thru at this Starbucks pretty much daily for the past month. Most days the service has been great. However, Friday, I ordered a PSL and it felt really light when they handed it to me. I peaked inside and noticed it wasn't full, but the whipped cream was about half an inch from the top and I had to get to work. When I got to work, I looked inside and the whipped cream dissolved and the cup was literally half full (see pics). This was before I drank any of it. Then, today I ordered my usual drink: a venti decaf americano with extra steamed oatmilk and 2 stevia. This is my daily drink. Every day, it is just as I ordered it on the screen. Today, the screen did not show "steamed". I asked the person taking the order if they got the steamed part of the order. He said yes, I told him I just wanted to check because it wasn't on the screen. He responded with "My barista has a headset ma'am". When I pulled up to the window I asked him if he was the one who said that and he said yes. I let him know that was kind of rude, that I order the same drink nearly every day and it always says it on the screen. He responded, again with "Well, my barista does have a headset." I could not believe the rudeness. I just took my coffee and left. My coffee, of course, was not hot because the extra oatmilk cools it off when it isn't steamed. I do not blame the barista, because s/he follows the order on the sticker. As convenient as this Starbucks is, I will not return because there are plenty of others to choose from with friendly service who prepare the drink the way I ordered it. read more
