Very disappointed with my recent takeout order. The drinks were not properly sealed, and one of the coffees leaked throughout the bag during transport, creating a huge mess. Unfortunately, the coffee seeped into the packaging of the macarons, contaminating them and making them unsafe for my children to eat. To make matters worse, the chocolate macarons we ordered were out of stock, requiring a substitute, which added to the inconvenience. For an order totaling nearly $60, I expected better packaging and quality control. Properly sealing drinks for takeout should be a basic standard, especially when food items are packed alongside beverages. Quality has gone down. They batched their drinks so we ended up waiting longer for our drinks despite ordering in person first (our drinks came out with like 5 others ) Mint serano was still serviceable (on the sweeter side) but my sea cream jasmine tea was almost undrinkable. Tasted more like they didn't clean their containers because it didn't taste like Jasmine tea at all...more like water with diluted coffee. Very disappointed. Smaller 7 Leaves Cafe than the usual ones I've visited. There's plenty of parking around a huge lot, often pretty busy as there's restaurants and other food places in the lot. Interior is pretty standard and clean, there's 8 tables with plenty of space. Often find people hanging out here and/or doing work or just on their laptops, etc. Service is pretty quick as well, drinks get out fast and staff is quite friendly. As good service as you can get for a drinks shop. Drinks here are like other 7 Leaves Cafes, my go tos are Jasmine Milk Tea, Summer Mint, and Oolong Milk Tea. Coffee options are available and they even have small bites like Macaroons. Overall, pretty standard 7 Leaves Cafe, this one even has a restroom, which requires a code from the staff. I've ordered from 7 Leaves many times on DD and I'm always pleased with my order. They are always accurate and my coffees taste great. I always get the Vietnamese Coffee with Sea Cream. I enjoy that you can add up to 6 shots in your coffee for maximum efficiency. The Sea Cream is not sweet in any way, but mimics the "sea" and is salty instead. It's better to mix it in with your coffee or you're left salt cream at the end of your coffee. The only thing I wish is that they offered a larger size than the "upsize." read more

There's a side kiosk where drivers are able to pick up online orders but they don't make the orders right away for some odd reason they WAIT I myself can confirm when I have ordered through the app and not delivery and went to go pick up myself! Instead of the employees having the online orders ready they literally don't make the drinks until you arrive which is very unacceptable, unprofessional and highly inconvenient. I really hope that's not the case and that this does not continue to happen to customers ordering online in general. Some people have work. Some people have kids. This is located in the university plaza at Riverside, plenty of parking spaces but the plaza gets really busy, so parking is a hit or miss, depending on what time you go. As you walk into 7Leaves, the counter where the cashier is, is on the other side of the front door. So you won't be seeing anyone or be greeted by any staff. When we visited, they may have been short staffed? not sure what's going on but there were so many people just waiting for their drinks, and we also wanted some drinks so we decided to just place the order and figured all these people waiting should be getting their orders soon and then it'll be our turn soon enough. Well, we took a gamble and reaped the consequences. We placed the order for their new drink, the orange dream, and one of their regular, the strawberry hibiscus tea. We paid for them and waited for them, and waited, and waited. Until all the people in front of us received their drinks, and we waited some more. Ever since we moved to Riverside, I have been missing 7 Leaves. I am so glad they have one right here!! It's in a plaza near UCR. They have lots of other food options too. The 7 Leaves is at the very front of the plaza on the right. Parking is challenging because they have free 90 minute parking, but there is a fee the minute after that. They do not validate. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can pick what works for you. 7 Leaves always has amazingly kind staff, so it makes me 10x more willing to support their business. I tried the Jasmine Sea Cream on my first day because it was recommended my two of my boba connoisseur friends. The Jasmine is such a perfect floral tea and the sea cream is delicious, I don't like cheese foam so this was a pleasant cream topping I can finally enjoy!
