I come by 7 Leaves anytime I'm craving a Thai tea. I love getting their Thai tea and now that they carry Green Thai tea, I get it all the time. It's one of my favorites since it jasmine tea in it. Last week I stopped by and also got a couple macarons and they tasted like they've been there for a while. Not fresh at all. So I was a little disappointed I spent money on old macarons. But my green Thai tea made up for it. It tasted good as always. read more

Great boba spot! Located on the corner of the plaza, it's easy to spot. Service is quick and friendly, very trendy ambience and cozy small space for a quick tea with boba satisfaction. There's some tables outside for extra seating since just a few tables inside. Being located at a highlight spot with plenty of competitors in the area, I wouldn't say it's superior to other wonderful boba spots but it's very good nonetheless. I'm not too familiar with the 7 Leaves brand as you might be, so just tried this spot with an open mind. We tried Sea Cream Jasmine Tea and their House Coffee (iced). Sea cream jasmine tea is one of their popular hits right now - refreshing jasmine tea, pretty much. Comparing their House Coffee to Ten Ren's Tea Time iced house coffee... I personally prefer Ten Ren's. Not to take anything away from 7 Leaves' house coffee, it's just my preference. For their drinks, we didn't care much for the foam cream in terms of taste but the presentation with sprinkles on top does look incredible. Overall, we'd give these 2 drinks a scale of 4 out of 5. We came at night time, but seeing how this seems to be a central location for nearby UCR students, I can see how parking can be quite a mess during rush hours. At this particular time on a Saturday night, it was nice to see that 2 hours parking was free with validation. Overall, if you know and like 7 Leaves - this spot doesn't disappoint. Great addition to this plaza that's already stacked with fantastic eating spots! **Special note on parking: I'd be cautious with one parking validation machine. Even with validation, there's a machine on the parking lot (before entering your vehicle) that would charge you $2 if you scanned it there, despite validation and well within the 2 free hours. Don't use that machine (you'll know which one if it charges you). Just get your ticket validated and simply use it as you drive out of the parking lot - the exit ticket machines seem to work just fine and parking was free with those. read more

Mung Bean Milk Tea is like chè (Vietnamese dessert) in liquid form -- it tastes like mung bean, coconut, and pandan (also the source of the distinct green color). Parking is somewhat annoying, as it is for any business in the UV plaza. There's a lot of red curb nearby if you have a passenger that can wait in your car and protect it from towing. read more

Ordered ahead for pickup online around 5 pm on a Saturday. There was a bit of a line but we went straight to the counter to pickup our drinks. There was only one guy on the register taking orders with a group of girls in the back making drinks. I noticed there were about 3 of them that were just standing there talking while there were about 10 drinks sitting behind the counter waiting for pickup. I wasn't able to get their attention so I had to wait for the one guy on the register to be done before asking about our drinks. It was only about a 3 minute wait but could've been a smoother process if the girls were paying attention considering how small the store is. The drinks were good, but I wish there was more aloe in my drink. Overall, love 7 leaves as a company but maybe work on training a bit more. read more

Iced House coffee is where it's at! Better than 85c sea salt coffee. The assam milk tea and Mung bean milk tea are also really good. Next time I'm getting the large size. On line ordering and reward points are also a plus. read more

This place is so cute and the menu is small but with a lot of options and they have macaroons!! We asked the girl at the registrar what's their most popular item as she said the House coffee so that's what we got and oh my gosh it was delicious! I have visited this 7 leaves location several times in the last few months, as the area is a food pitstop for my boyfriend & I when trekking through Riverside to get to the desert from San Diego. Quality and service here, as I have experienced with every other 7 leaves, has been great. No issues encountered and they are super fast. Ordered both at the counter and through the app. They have a 20% off yelp check in deal here which to me is great considering how much a boba drink costs nowadays. There isn't too much seating inside, but the plaza offers lots of outdoor tables & chairs. Bathroom has a code. Parking is pretty easy to find as the plaza it is located in is huge with other food businesses nearby. My favorites here are the mung bean milk tea, taro milk tea & oolong milk tea with honey boba. To be honest, I don't think you can go wrong with anything here. read more

This is my favorite boba place!! Their drinks are unique and refreshing. My favorites are the house coffee, taro milk tea, matcha soy, and jasmine tea with sea cream. As you can see I have a LOT of favorites. I consider this more of dessert drink because they have a lot of sugar in them. I've tried almost all of their drinks and the one I haven't loved is the mung bean one because its a bit powdery. They also have a secret menu which is now available on the 7leaves app. Pro tip if you're trying to figure out what drink you're craving: for most cold drinks you can ask for a sample! I also like that they do a lot of collaborations with UCR to support on campus clubs. read more

I've been to a couple different branches but the one in Riverside was not that good :(( They gave me my drink and I could still taste the unshaken remnants of sugar particles... the drinks seem premade since I couldn't change the milk substitute for most drinks. read more

A friend brought me here, and the coffee is amazing, but very strong, so be careful with buying a large if you've already had coffee at home, but maybe that's just me. The flavor is delicious and they have both coffee and tea drinks. I want to highlight that I left my purse there, and when I called about it that evening, they told me that they had it and saved it until I could come back the next day. SO many of my friends & clients keep raving about 7 Leaves Boba & after my first time here, I hella get it!!!! Angelica showed us the ropes by sampling several of their teas/coffees. The star for me is the Jasmine Milk Tea, however each of the samples had unique flavors that just punches you in the taste buds! The taro is taro-ific & the house coffee/Vietnamese coffee is brew-tifully strong, yet tasty. All the milk teas have silky deliciousness! While I ordered a large jasmine milk tea (only 75 cents more!), my husband ordered the Thai Tea with honey boba. The Thai Tea was not too sweet & the boba has just the right amount of chewiness! I have to highlight that 7 Leaves has the highest quali-tea service! Angelica is so welcoming and radiates amazing energy! Thai tea lover. I'm on a mission to try them all. 7 leaves is huge! Locations everywhere. Plenty of options. I keep it simple. Thai tea. No sweet. No boba. Easy ice. Before I ordered it, I asked if the Thai tea was already mixed with sugar. They said yes. How sweet can it be right? Way too sweet for me. It was the only boba shop open at the time. So that's why I gave it a try. I didn't like the flavor either. Kind of prices too. I also got a macaron. And that was super sweet too. But good. Service was good. Young crew definitely brought the good vibes. But now I know. 7 leaves is too sweet for me. Others love it, and that's cool. But I can't get with it. However I'm glad I tried them out. I just want to give a shout-out to the barista that took my order because she was put through the most uncomfortable situation by another male customer but she handled it so well. This man came in and was being extremely inappropriate with her, but she remained professional and kindly dismissed him. She was visibly uncomfortable and I felt terrible. I don't know if there's anything the business can do now about it, but I had to write this here. Aside from that, I got the house coffee and it was delicious! The macaroons were also really good. My favorite part was that the cups have a quote by Gandhi on them. I think this is my new favorite coffee shop. I loved it. read more

My husband literally gets Vietnamese coffee everyday and I normally love the house coffee. Not only are the drinks top tier but so is the service. We always take our daughter so she can walk around and socialize. She's almost two and 7 leaves is like her second home. When she's not in a mood she loves to say hi to the 7 leaves crew. If you're new to 7 Leaves, the drinks I'd recommend getting is the House Coffee (very strong coffee, yet sweet), & Japanese Matcha Soy (sweet delicious matcha). There's so many good choices to choose from & great add-on toppings. They also sell macaroons! I love 7 leaves. They're consistently good & refreshing if you're looking for some tea. I've used the mobile order a few times at this location, it's ready every time before I get there. Only knocking off 1 star for the location - parking is absolute chaos here. You have the option to pay to park or just pulling off on the side (in the fire lane) & putting your hazards on. Ugh. This location has lots of good businesses but the parking is awful. read more

7 Leaves is definitely one of my favorite boba options in Riverside! My favorite two drinks are the Taro Milk Tea (which has real taro!!) and the Oolong Milk Tea which has a very strong tea flavor. I didn't like the House Coffee whatsoever. It was so sweet to the point that I just threw it away. I tried waiting for the ice to melt, but at that point, the coffee taste was so diluted while still being too sweet. The service here is always extremely friendly. The white guy (I'm pretty sure his name is Abel?) and a girl named Kimmy were very accommodating and patient on the days I went. I am extremely indecisive and both of them suggested the oolong and taro milk tea respectively (which are now my favorite 2 drinks!!) I'll definitely be back! read more

Yeah came back again.This time they had boba... Still regretting it due to the amount of ice that's given and how the drink isnt even filled to the top ontop of a 30 min wait for our drinks... Unfortunately this is another huge dissapointment. You can clearly see there is more ice than drink, there is no point in upgrading to a large. You get more ice than drink. Granted I have been to other 7 leaves locations and have always been so happy and content with my drink and experience. I rather just wait til I'm in Chino or Las Vegas for my 7 leaves drink. Yes! 7 leaves is one of my favorite boba tea places so I'm happy they opened one in Riverside. It's located in the corner of the University Village. It's nice since it's walking distance from the UCR campus. The store is cozy and small. There's a few sitting areas. My favorite drink is the Matcha Soy. It's super refreshing and hits the matcha flavor just right. Also, if you need a bit of a pick me up, the house coffee is super delicious. I usually don't drink coffee but their house coffee is creamy, light, and give me the energy I need. read more

Service 10/10. Workers are attentive and greeted us as soon as we walked in. When we got there it was busy put workers were speed demons. So while we were waiting for our food from Crab Haus, we decided to get a tea from 7 Leaves Cafe. We ordered the large Seacream Jasmine Tea with Boba. The drink took about a min since there was no other customers, the place has a nice vibe and its cozy inside. The tea was excellent and a large was the perfect size for both of us to share without drinking too much sugar. Will be back for more tea in the future! read more

The staff needs a raise! I walked into this place not even realizing that Starbucks was gone. What happened to it? I wondered but decided to try this place and I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks looked good so I tried one and I really enjoyed it, than suddenly a staff member came up to me and give me a macaroon. I loved it so much a bought a few more. However, they finally got back to me on 10/29 saying they needed to check to see if another customer was going to cancel their order and told me they would let me know by 10/30 since I needed to find another vendor if they couldn't do it.
