    3/23/24 FYI

Is it because I am a zombie every morning when starting my day without coffee? Or is it because I have a routine? Run in and out getting coffee, then get right into my "Yelping." Quality/Quantity - Where are all my pictures? Again, is it because of the above? Going to try on my next visit, probably tomorrow 3/23/24 to take and upload some pictures. Atmosphere - Convenient location. Especially since I shop at this center often, probably too often. Cool decor. Drive thru available. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 5am or 5:30am to 7pm or 8pm. Service - Good. Price - My usual cup of tall pike. I use the app and don't really look (again see above), so I am guessing almost $3 a cup. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1971 and for being the largest coffeehouse chain in the world! #114 on the Fortune 500 list. As of 2021, 33,833+ stores, and 15,444 of them are in the US. 1992 IPO. 2003 Acquired Seattle's Best Coffee. 2008 Loyalty card program. 2020 Generous programs to employees due to COVID. Closed all stores except drive thru and delivery. Paid for 30 days whether employees went to work or stayed home. Gave employees free daily meals and drinks whether they were working or not. Focused on the mobile app and future stores "convenience-led" formats with drive thru and curbside pickup.

I've been here a few times, walking in and drive through. Every time they have been fast and efficient. I get my order quickly and the service is great. It is a quaint location with just a few indoor tables and some outdoor tables. Equals always great. I'll be back again.

Time to review my neighborhood Starbucks! Rain, shine, or snow the Steamboat Starbucks always comes through. Be it the morning squad at 530am or the swing-shift closers, I'm always assisted with tasty needed beverages. The low star ratings by the Yelp community is not my truth at this location. This is a five star coffee bar that south Reno loves.

It was a much needed pick me up yesterday! Shaken oatmilk espressos are not only coach approved, but just the right amount of a caffeine pick me up. This location is always faster with their pick-up times on the app. I will order on an app 9/10 times if available. They aren't my favorite coffee joint, but they make my life easier, and I will continue to order there due to their user-friendly app.

    Nitro cold brew (over ice?)

When did Starbucks become so slow? This has become my local Starbucks and I am In here almost once a week lately for meetings. It's large, modern and spacious inside, with lots of work areas to choose from, but it's constantly busy, so chances of snagging one depends on when you arrive. With the volume they seem to have at all times of the day, they never seem to be adequately staffed to handle it. The line is 5-10 customers deep at the register inside and my experience is they only have one register running. The staff is always buzzing about behind the counter preparing drinks that are all seemingly for the drive through and keeping the operation going. If you're sticking around though, there's always a long wait for drinks. Today my drink was all sorts of wrong too, which hasn't happened before. I ordered a nitro cold brew and it arrived as an iced cold brew. You can't put ice in a nitro drink because it takes all the nitro goodness out. All in all this Starbucks just doesn't have it going on. I've become used to it though and accepted this as the standard at this location.

Missed Starbucks! All baristas we're wearing their face masks :) restrooms are closed and sitting not available but coffee still taste amazing and I know that the baristas have smiling face behind their masks :) oh oh and they have cake pops!

So depressing that this the greeting as you walk in the door.

Friendly service. Coffee was good. Online order to 20+ minutes. Watched people walk in, order and leave before me. Only one person working on online orders and several for the counter and drive thru. Lesson learned, online order is low priority at this location.

Everything is lavender and purple, which happens to be my favorite color, so it already feels like home. I always order the same thing: an Americano with oat milk. It's smooth, rich, and never bitter, and the oat milk makes it perfectly creamy without feeling heavy. They make it right every single time. And I have to give a special shoutout to Sara. She is so sweet and always remembers my order, which makes it feel even more personal and welcoming. That kind of consistency and kindness really stands out. The vibe here is everything. The music is great, the energy is warm, and it's such a peaceful place to sit, think, journal, or meet up with someone. It's clean, beautifully designed, and you can tell they truly care about the experience. First of all their logo is super cute and I love all the purple..my favorite color..lol.. the first thing you see when you walk in is the purple food truck painted on the wall around the window you order at and then the big wall on the right of the door where people have signed it when visiting. We walked up to the window and were greeted nicely by 2 staff members.. they explained their seasonal drink and answered any questions we had..they were both so nice. I got a warm chai with regular milk. Temp was good but it did lack flavor. I could barely taste anything like the Chai or cinnamon. My fiancee got their seasonal drink. It was a spin on Dubai chocolate but made with white chocolate. My fiancee LOVED it! I tried it too and it was pretty good. Im just happy she liked it. Cute place with good vibes and friendly staff. We will be coming back and I will be trying the chai again.

So strong that a headache kicked in immediately and only drank 1/4 of the cup. Also got a matcha cloud which consist of coconut water and a creamy matcha foam. First sip, sweet and creamy. Barely tasted the matcha. For pastries we got the chocolate croissant, pain suisse and a Kouign Amann. The Kouign amann was different, it was in a shape of a bar and had multiple flaky layers. Years back my husband and I wanted to try them out but we went in on a random Saturday morning and they were closed. My dad was admitted to this hospital a little over a year ago but I was not able to try it, so it was time! The first thing I wanted to try was their breakfast! I walked over to the ready made selections and I assumed it was just like regional where the only thing they offered were premade. Since I assumed, I went ahead and tried their sausage and egg English muffin sandwich, which is my go to at regional! After I paid I noticed there were a group of people to the side waiting for their orders. I looked to the right of the cashier and I saw they had made to order omelettes! I was bummed I didn't see that in the first place or else I would have ordered it! The price of the sandwich was about $3.50 and the omelettes were $3, which is a great deal! The breakfast sausage english muffin sandwich was similar to the one I regularly eat at Regional, but I don't think they butter the bread here, which is good on my heart and arteries! It's definitely something I would recommend to try! I am so used to picking up Starbucks at regional that when I ordered my sandwich I decided to just get drip coffee, which wasn't labeled. I then I realized i should have just made coffee in my office but it was ok, it did it's job! During the lunch hour, my husband, who's office is about a block away, decided to join me and we went straight to the menu to the right of the cashier. Everything was priced great! I ordered the tuna melt with fries and he ordered patty melt with onion rings. Both were priced pretty good, about $3 for each sandwich, the fries were $1, and onion rings $2. My coworker told me the quesadillas were good as well! The sandwiches and onion rings were hot and fresh but the fries seemed like they were sitting there for a little bit, but they were battered similar to flowing tide fries! Still yummy! Both times I went throughout the day, they offered a small cold section with salads, fruits, yogurt, and a refrigerator stocked with bottled drinks. They didn't have a soda fountain available. They also had an area for snacks including slim Jim's, trail mix, etc. condiment packed were stocked and I was glad to see they had cholula offered which is a change from Tabasco at regional. Next time I do want to try the made to order foods that they offer! This makes me miss the made to order ways we had a regional. I had the same cashier both times and he was so sweet, all smiles and was so welcoming! The tables were limited but it was like a well oiled machine; as soon as people were done at the table, they got up to make way for others to sit. I really like that the area was well lit with big windows to let natural light in. My husband and I were reminded of being at a hotel. I grew up eating hospital food since my mom was a nurse for 24 years so I never look down on cafeteria food. The quality isn't what you'll find at a 5 star or a Michelin star restaurant, but if you're at the hospital and hungry whether you're a guest or an employee it's worth it!

Surprisingly located within a convenience stop (gas station, market, car wash), it was a spacious, well-lit location filled with visual references to nature and Tahoe. Only saw someone go around to do this when we were done eating. The food seemed to be an interesting blend of Mexican-inspired, mostly healthy breakfast and lunch options. Lots of tea, coffee, and fresh squeezed juice options to pair with. I opted for the "green juice" minus celery. Pretty much everything (including my egg melt) came with top-notch, unique tortilla chips (crispy, whole grain?). I can only imagine that their house specialty nachos would be amazing. The egg melt came open face on a bagel...perfect thickness, moist but not chewy, topped with very fluffy eggs, ripe avocado and a rich melted jack cheese, with perfect (slightly nacho-esque) seasoning.
