Worst customer service I've ever had in my life. I went there yesterday on 02/03/25 around 3pm. The girl working there took my money for the drink and didn't serve me a drink. Then she proceeded to tell me I need to take it up with my bank. She refused to refund me and refused to remake my drink. She got upset for some reason when I corrected her when I saw her making my drink incorrectly. Then she refused to serve me. It felt very discriminatory and extremely unprofessional. My drink order is very simple I always get the same thing. All I asked for was a strawberry milk tea with matcha flavored boba. I discovered bubble tea while on my adventures in Oregon. Before that I had never tried Boba, or milk teas. The closest thing I had ever had to a milk tea was putting some cream in my Earl Grey at home. So when I saw Bubble Tea Station Cafe open up I was was very excited! Getting here is a little tricky because of the new roundabout, you have to take back roads and park behind the place... even then there were no parking spots so I parked on the other side of the big fence. They have all of your classics like Matcha which is green tea, Thai tea and Taro. They even have the tiger tea that's super popular in Oregon. I ordered my Thai tea with boba and hardly waited any time. They're all one size, so I was a tad sad that I could get a huge milk tea. But maybe if you want a big one, order two! Sitting in their little patio area was nice. No one was outside which led me to believe that all of their parking spaces were probably taken up by employees. Oh well. Having moved to Reno from the Bay Area, I come from a really big boba scene. This is the only spot I've tried in town so far - great location in Midtown!! My oolong milk tea was overall good, with a strong tea flavor. The pearls are on the harder side and don't really have a flavor (doesn't seem like they soak them in syrup here) but the chewiness is nice and not brittle. I absolutely love and adore boba. I had Green Apple with Popping with Green Apple Boba. It was so yummy and tasty. My daughter swears that it is the best boba in town. It is a really small kiosk-type business. I don't think I would have ever known it was there had she not brought me. My daughter and her boyfriend had a more traditional milk tea. I really want to like this place! The location is ideal in that little midtown roundabout & the actual cafe & outdoor seating are cute. The first issue is that they didn't have the first few things my friend tried to order off the menu. When I got there, there were no other customers around or near by and the girl inside the stand was just walking around. We made eye contact but she ignored me for a good few minutes. When she finally took my order I asked for a strawberry milk tea with mango and strawberry popping boba. She took the order with a blank face then walked off. When I got my drink I tried it and it was the wrong flavor. There was another customer by then but the cashier saw my face and was very rude and said "what's wrong with it?" I apologized to her because I felt bad for some reason and told her she made the drink wrong. She told me it was right because she put mango boba in it. I told her yes, but the milk tea was supposed to be strawberry flavored, and she made it mango flavored. She got mad at me, and said "why didn't you tell ne before you put your straw in it?!" And I was baffled, because what does that even mean?? Was she going to reuse the tea? Why wouldn't I try my drink? That's so weird. Then she flailed her hands at the cup and ordered me to "take the straw, I'm not taking your straw. Take it out." So I took out the straw, and she took the drink back. I was once again confused, because why would I need to take the straw if you were just going to throw it away? What did she do with that drink?? Then, she made a new customers drink first, and then remade mine. She didn't apologize or smile or ever speak with a nice tone once. I got my new drink and left. I also found some lychee in the new drink, but at that point I didn't care. I felt like i was offending her or something with how she acted. Anyways, I'm never going back. read more

I've had boba twice here, and both times it was really good; friends and family all enjoyed what they got. The milk (even the soy version I got with my matcha) is rich and creamy, not watery. I asked my matcha to be less sweet, and what I got was perfect. I love the fact that they don't put a lot of ice too. The only thing that I didn't like was that the tables outside are dirty. In fact, the dirty table that seemed like someone spilled the entire drink on the last time we were there about three weeks ago was still dirty with the same stuff on. Like another review said, the boba was a little hard, but I didn't mind. The matcha tea was not sweet, which I also didn't mind, but a heads up for those who do. And on the flip side the tiger tea was superrrrrr sweet. Next time I'll ask for maybe 75 or 50% for sweetness. I thought both drinks were good though and they looked beautiful. Saw canisters of powder near the front window, meaning the drinks are made from powder. I saw a container with purple powder--taro powder. I'm not a big fan of powdered milk teas, but with a limited of boba places in Reno, I had no choice. T4 was nowhere to be found, so this taro drink would have to suffice. I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with tapioca (+0.50) and soy milk substitute (+0.50). Total came out to be $5.00+. They also provide milk subs for those who are lactose intolerant. Almond, Soy, and Coconut: +0.50 cents. All barista blend. Plenty of outdoor seating. No bathrooms. They should make an exception for customers because I really had to go!
