When I went to pay with a card, the card machine would NOT allow me to pay without tipping. I tried to explain to the worker but she acted like she couldn't understand me. My wife explained in Tagalog (the worker and my wife are filipino) and she looked at us kind of weird. All in all, 3 drinks ended up costing us $28.00 - This will be the last time we come here as it seems to be a bit fraudulent, how do you expect people to fork out almost $10 a drink thats majority ice with a little flavoring. Edit: After speaking with my Wife, she told me that we received 2 Jasmin Tea's and 2 Tiger Tea's (even though we only ordered 1 Jasmin and 2 Tigers). The FRAUD part about this review is the fact that we were not able to press "NO TIP", in fact the only button to press was the 20% tip to complete the transaction (the Clover terminal that they use has a "No Tip, 10%, 15%, 20% and so on. But every time I pressed the "NO TIP" the clover terminal didn't register, in fact the 10% and 15% didn't work either) So to complete my order I had to press the 20% button. The business owner and I have been messaging back and forth to figure things out. But at the end of the day, it's still fraud. He may have had no idea this was happening. read more

There was a big speaker playing cool hip music right outside the shop and it's an outside sitting only. They only offer one size for all their drinks, which is a large 16oz cup ??? I forget the actual size but for $3.99 not bad eh? ***| Taro milk tea, pretty tasty but I wish it was colder. There were ice cubes inside but it didn't get that cold til towards halfway point. They only had lychee popping boba (TASTED AMAZING)!!! This place is so cute! It's a small booth with a walk-up counter but there are several seats outside if you don't wanna take your boba to-go. What I love about this boba spot is the variety! Not only do you get several flavor options, you get multiple choices for your toppings too! I'm not used to boba spots that offer not only boba or jelly but even popping bobas in several flavors. I had the pineapple, passionfruit combo fruit tea with lychee popping boba & it was delicious! I love that you could ask them to combine flavors! My husband had the banana milk tea & it was so good too. He loved that it didn't taste like "artificial banana" but tasted like real bananas, almost like a smoothie. Love that Bubble Tea Station Cafe also plays with their BTS initials and have BT21 characters drawn on their menu. As an army, I totally appreciate this & love this place even more. I'm not sure if I've been spoiled with good boba since I currently live in Vegas and i'm from the bay area but the milk tea here isn't good, specifically the Hokkaido. Overly sugary, the caramel taste it's supposed have tasted burnt, Didn't taste like any one I've ever had. The girl working the register and making the drinks was dismissive and seemed like she didn't want to be there. I understand remaking a drink costs money to a small business but she still wasn't accommodating by any means, it felt like I was a bother to her with the way she spoke. Over the weekend some friends and I were able to have a veritable celebration of bubble teas, or as I would call it, a Boba Fete... *cricket, cricket, cricket* Ahem, anyway... This is a really delightful spot for some really delicious treats. Though it took a while, I have grown to enjoy boba drinks with those chewy little orbs of tapioca floating in them. It was sort of a niche thing for a while, especially in Reno, but I am glad it has taken off, and we now have Bubble Tea Station right in the heart of Midtown. They are hard to miss, being set up in a tiny stand near the intersection of Virginia and Center Streets. There are a few parking spaces in their own lot, and plenty of others in the surrounding blocks. Walk right up to their windows, and you can see their impressive selection of flavors and and additional options. And once you order, it is pretty interesting to watch as their machines shake and seal your drinks for you. Outside there are several tables and umbrellas, which are no doubt great to hang out at during the warmer months. We ended up going with three of the milk teas, the Matcha, Thai Tea, and Taro flavors. All of them were sweet, but not overly so, especially the matcha, which actually had a very prominent green tea flavor. The Thai Tea was likewise very good. But what really impressed my was the Taro flavor. This funky-looking purple brew is just phenomenal, and definitely gets a high recommendation from me. Though we didn't get a chance to try them this time, we did see there are fruit teas, as well as more standard cafe drinks like lattes and cappuccinos available, too. The service here was exceptionally friendly, and the teas were handed off to us very quickly. Price-wise you are looking at about the same range you would for a sugary blended drink at the Green Giant or other big chain coffee stores, but I think for the novelty of it, and how yummy they turned out, you are getting a great deal. So if you are cruising through Midtown, especially if it's a sunny and warm day, I can for sure say you got to stop by and snag a boba tea. Great work, guys! read more

We've been here twice now and I think we will be back soon! So many flavors of milk and fruit tea to choose from. We also love the variety of toppings (boba, popping boba, jelly, etc.) we haven't quite decided what our favorite is from her yet, but we like everything we've tried including tiger tea, guava fruit tea, passion fruit tea, and mango milk tea. It's easy to park in the back of the building. There was a little wait when we went, but it's a popular place with a smaller building so we weren't too concerned about that. They have outdoor patio with chairs. It also would be fun to get a drink and then cruise through a few of the other local businesses in walking distance. When I told her I wanted a refund instead of paying $7 for a drink, she told me there was no one to open the register?! Spring decides to show up, so what do we do? Brunch and a stroll through Midtown to check out all of the new businesses of course! After Virginia to visit Pizzava and Under The Rose's new brewery and taproom, we decided we needed a cold drink to cool us off from the blaring sun, and Bubble Tea Station appeared like an oasis in the desert! This kiosk finally has a purpose, and it was awesome to see it so busy! We approached the window and ordered a Thai Tea with boba, and minutes later it was out! The tapioca pearls were soft and chewy, and the Thai Tea was sweet, but not too sweet! It was incredibly refreshing. Best of all they were rocking some epic tunes, the sun was shining, the umbrellas were SECURELY UP on the comfortable patio and the staff was super friendly. It was more on the floral side and it tasted a little watered down. However, their original milk tea was pretty good! It was quite creamy, and the black tea flavor was prominent. The boba itself has a good consistency, and it wasn't at all clumpy. However, the boba didn't have a strong honey taste or sweetness to it. It definitely seemed like their tiger milk tea was their most popular drink, so I'll definitely need to try that next time. A couple girlfriends and I were on the mood for some boba and remembered seeing this place, so we decided to check it out. It's a cute little spot near the south end of midtown across the street from Junkies. It's tiny and there is actually just a walk up window with no indoor seating. They have a cute gated patio with lots of tables outside, however - it was a beautiful winter day when we went and I can only imagine how awesome that space is during the summer. I ordered a large taro milk tea with boba and opted for soy milk. The large size is only 50 cents more than a regular, so I'd say treat yo self! They also offered almond milk as an alternative to dairy. The drink was tasty, but it seemed a little coconut-y to me. The ratio of boba to liquid was close to perfect! My friends got the chocolate one and the matcha tea. The chocolate one was so decadent, like a rich chocolate milk. The matcha was also good and just slightly sweet. I would like to say this is a pretty awesome boba shop and they did really well with their flavors. They also have these hella cute Baymax cup toppers and they make the drinks look really cute.
