Inside, there're Chinese menu items all along the wall, with a nice and intimate vibe. The server was nice, and we were seated quickly. I got the build your own combo with popcorn chicken and the beef noodle soup. Everything in the combo was tasty, but I do wish that the vegetables were unsalted, since everything else has a very strong flavor. I would definitely go again!

Unfortunately, the flavors were quite different from what I expected. The food wasn't bad, but it tasted different from what I'm used to. The popcorn chicken was more on the sweet side rather than savory. The fried rice was okay but not very flavorful. The zha jiang mian was also sweeter than expected. Usually the ones I've had in Asia are very savory. I've even had zha jiang mian in Alameda, California, and that version was savory, not sweet at all. At one point my husband even wondered if they might have accidentally used sugar instead of salt. The mapo tofu was also a bit too sweet. The best one was the beef noodle soup. That was 7/10 it was my favorite out of all. In general, we didn't enjoy the food very much. The service was okay. I understand they were very busy, so it's understandable. The restaurant itself is clean but extremely packed and busy.

When we were ordering, the employee mentioned it came in a special kitty cup with a cute lid, which got my daughter excited. Unfortunately, when we picked it up, they told us they were out of the lids, even though it had been pitched to us moments earlier. That said, the drink itself was excellent. It looked beautiful, the flavors worked perfectly together, and my daughter absolutely loved it. As for the atmosphere, it was... fine. Not terrible, just not very memorable. They have a small play area for kids, which is nice, but the overall aesthetic felt a little unfinished and could use some freshening up. I also didn't notice indoor seating besides the play area, so we ended up leaving with our drinks. Even with the small hiccups, we'll definitely be back. The drink was delicious, and my daughter enjoyed it.

Big bonus: the lounge space and games. Even cuter is that they update the decorations based on holidays! It's chill, welcoming, and actually a place you can hang out, not just grab a drink and bounce. Minor hang-ups (nothing deal-breaking): - It's not always clear which drinks are one-size vs. which have multiple sizes.. and some drinks have photos, most don't. Ordering for kids gets tricky when they absolutely do not need a mega-sized sugar rocket. - I wish the food options were more consistent. I've seen steamed buns, bubble waffles, and snacks, but availability is hit-or-miss. - Would also sweeten the vibe if they had background music. Maybe they do, I just couldn't hear it? Bottom line: Excellent drinks, creative menu, great vibes. Tighten up the sizing clarity and food consistency and this place is flirting with perfection.

It's great that their milk base is already non-dairy and that you can adjust your sweetness level. There's lots of tea options and topping options. The staff was friendly and did a stellar job with making my boba drink. I ordered original boba milk tea at 20% sweetness - it was perfect. Not too sweet and the boba consistency was just right! One of the best bobas in town. I also ordered the vanilla egg waffle and it was nice and crispy in the outside. They have board games and cute decor inside - fun place to chill and meet up with friends. Looking forward to coming back to try other boba flavors.

I got the crème brûlée milk tea and my friend got the classic milk tea with boba. I very disappointed. There was barely any ice and the bottom half of the drink was thick and warm. It is the worst drink I have ever had. I am not sure how she made it, but it tasted like warm eggnog. Nothing in it tasted like milk tea. My friend said hers was not very good either. This classic regular milk tea should be the simplest to make, but she was very disappointed as well. The boba was also not good. Honestly, I don't think the person who made my drink knew how to make it. She was the only person running the place. I would not come back after this experience.
