I got the Brown Sugar Boba drink and my coworker got the Thai Tea with Boba. Both drinks were really good, mine was a little sweet, so I added a shot of espresso to it and ot was the most delicious drink every!! The Thais tea is definitely my favorite though. Best tea in Reno, in my opinion. However, they get busy and the wait is long. I took my kids there after school around 3pm and we literally waited 30 minutes for our order of 3 boba teas. The wait was interesting though, there was a lot going on in the area today. There's no indoor seating, you order at the counter outside. They offer one size only FYI. Came on a Sunday and there was only one guy working with a huge line. When we finally ordered, they were out of boba. :( Their drinks are primarily powdered based. That's pretty disappointing. The customer service here is always good and the boba tea is consistent. This place has many options but my favorite is definitely the Tiger Stripe boba and I usually make my boba milk teas with coconut milk and a light amount of boba. I personally am not a fan of the lychee here, its the bursting boba, not the jelly, but the boba pearls are pretty good. I don't do coffee, so never understood the whole Starbucks pay $5 for a cuppa Joe thing, however I do happen to enjoy tea, and this tea in particular. It's such a great idea to take that small corner lot that used to be a car lot I think, and keep the overhead low, by using a tiny building and make everything to go, and make it all ONE size. No fuss no muss! They have parking, they have tables with umbrellas, and in the summer, that will be key. Friendly people making your drinks, and under $5 seems like a bargain. Easy in and out - but ONLY if you come in from the alley. They are on the roundabout and it's a one way street next to them, and you have to drive a block if you want to turn around (GRRRR don't get me started on the roundabout and the divider!) Anyway, I digress....stop in have a yummy tea, with so many flavors you'll find something you love. And try the tapioca boba - yes it's interesting and might take some getting used to (chewing your drink) but it's fun and it's delicious. read more

This is a little cafe that was blasting music outside that drew us in. My boyfriend and I love treating ourselves to bubble tea and are always eager to try new places. We got the Tiger tea (Thai tea mixed with milk tea) and almond milk tea, both with tapioca balls. The balls were super fresh and chewy. You can tell they make them daily here. The almond milk is very strong in flavor so if you don't like almond I suggest trying something different or mixing it with something. I was visiting Reno and decided to stop by this place. I got the Honeydew milk tea with boba! Let's start out with the drink. The drink did not have tea in it, just milk with honeydew powder flavoring. Even though there was no tea flavor (which would have been really nice!) it was still very good. Even though the drink base didn't have tea it still was delicious, sweet and had a great consistency. I loved the tea part of the drink! Now for the boba. The boba was a really nice size, it wasn't huge so it got stuck in the straw, but it wasn't so small that it didn't feel like boba. However, the boba wasn't a great consistency. It was pretty hard to chew . Overall, this place was really good. I'd recommend getting the boba earlier in the day when it might be fresher or getting popping boba instead. If you're looking for a sweet treat and have never had boba, this is a great place to start! read more

This place is very mediocre. First off, the tea quality is HORRIBLE, they use way too much sugar and there is no tea flavor whatsoever. Second off, the service is HORRIBLE! The lady attending people in the front was very unenthusiastic about having a job. Mind you, I spent $27 on 5 drinks and also tipped her, for her to be very rude and condescending. I dropped my boba and she just watched me and didn't say anything, then, when I asked where the trash was, she didn't say anything. Tonight, after waiting over 20 minutes to order, it took over another 20 minutes after ordering to get our 3 drinks tonight. So all together we waited over 40 minutes for 3 drinks. It's a Saturday night but they had only two staff as far as I could see. Con: Staff do not have basic manners, say thank you or apologize even if they're in the wrong and receive a customer complaint. This used to be my favorite tea spot in town. Now it's 1,2, Tea. They have a better selection and it's cheaper. Bubble Tea Station charges extra for non dairy and even though they say they offer reduced sugar, that just means they add more milk and less tea. It can be $6 for a 30% sweet boba milk tea that is 80% milk. Go to 1 , 2 , Tea and save money and get a delicious tea. read more

This boba shop was just ok, I probably won't return. Why you ask? I ordered taro milk tea, the milk tea itself was kind of chalky/powdery tasting, really sweet (about 75%-100%), and the boba was overcooked and there was clumps stuck together (I do give them props for having that sticky texture and not the bouncy ball one). I don't think this place use actual tea as their base, it really just tasted like milk, flavor powder, and sweetener. I have always really enjoyed this place but after today I'm going to find another place to go. My husband and I pulled up with 7 minutes to spare. The open sign light was on when we pulled into the parking area. I walked up to the window and the open sign was off. I knocked on the window and the employee that was in there ignored the knocks...I did this several times. Was standing in clear view of the window. After I knocked she picked up her phone and pretended she couldn't hear. Had no headphones in so it wasn't like she couldn't hear. And I was knocking hard enough to be heard. So she was blatantly ignoring. When your online time says 8 close at 8. It doesn't matter if it's 7 minutes until 8. Some people come those last 7 minutes. read more

Service 3/5: I was standing by the ordering window for about 5 minutes and no one said anything to me. I had to call out for someone to come and even then, it took them a while to come to the front window. Location 4/5: This place is very aesthetically pleasing! It has a cute little patio area with chairs, tables, umbrellas, and cute little lamp posts. The area you order from looks like a small little shack (which is also adorable). It is also located in Midtown across the street from Two Chicks which is a great location! The downside is their parking lot is one way and there aren't many spots. So park on the street if you can't find a spot! Drinks: 2/5 I had Thai tea with boba and I've also tried their Strawberry with boba as well. Both were below average. The boba was pretty hard and not soft and chewy like it's supposed to be. The Thai tea and the strawberry tasted very powdery. I also found out that it's the same boba place as the one in Meadowood Mall, their cups are just different. Their cups are really cute though! They have Baymax (from Big Hero 6) as their lids.
