It's always a good day with a Starbucks cup in hand. I worked in South Reno for quite sometime and this location was my go-to for my mid-day pick me ups. App ordering is my favorite and will probably be a Starbucks lifer due to their user friendly app. This is always one of our first stops on the way to our lake days with my kids in the Summer. I can in to place an order for one drink, the he/him Ethan behind the counter asked whose drink I was waiting for and I told he/him that I was needing to place an order. During that time, another he/him approached the lady with the 4 kids next to me who arrived after me and proceeded to take her order first. After the 4 drinks, he/him Zac asked what he/him could get for me, I said "oh, are you ready to take my order now? I wasn't sure if it was a first come first serve or just whoever he felt like serving first?" He said, well, it's not like I could just push her out of the way and take your order, it's whoever is standing at the register.... It's a little congested in the parking lot and I had never been here before but what a CUTE little Starbucks, I love it. I didn't buy anything here because I already had a coffee from another Starbucks down the road. I was meeting someone here for a little business meeting and we sat outside because of the pandemic. I was awaiting her arrival inside since it was our first cold day this fall/winter and I was observing the inside space and cleanliness. Waited 20 minutes for drink in drive thru because they took forever to serve car in front. They should pull slow orders off to the side.

This is the closest location to my home and the only one open when I leave for work. I am shocked that getting warm coffee at 5:30am is so hard. Every cup I order is Luke warm. They open at 5am - so I am not sure what the dilemma is. The wait when there is no one in line or the store at this time and yet I wait over 10 minute from order to payment is baffling as well. I typically leave a 3-5 dollar tip on a 2-3 dollar black coffee because if I want my change I will end up late to work waiting. 4 of the past 5 mornings (ACCURATE NUMBER) my coffee with 2 Splenda has been a coffee with cream and 15 sugars, a black coffee, a iced mocha, and always cold. Of course I don't take a sip until I'm 3 miles down the road so money blown daily. Not to mention Starbucks is usually some of the most polite and involved customer service personnel and yet I feel like I'm talking to Eeyore from Whinny the Pooh. read more

I stop at this location frequently before my commute to work. The servers are really nice and always have a smile on there face. On a particular morning I asked for a warm beverage that was typically served on ice. When I got to the window that they informed me they messed up the order and made it cold rather than hot. They asked me if I wanted to keep both drinks and I graciously accepted them. The inside of this location is a lot smaller than other Starbuck locations I have been to. They are always neat and organized and fully stocked on all the goods. Highly recommend this location :) read more

Simply put, it's the kind of speed and service you'd expect from a suburban Starbucks. The product is exactly the same as at any other of their gazillion locations. But what sets them apart is friendly faces and a better execution than your average Big Bean experience. I popped in twice over the course of a couple days while visiting some relatives in the area. The place was clean, the wait during the day was short and the staff seemed to have a handle on what they were doing. Even with cars lined up outside, it felt like they were giving the walk-in customers priority. It's always annoying when you walk into an empty Starbucks only to wait forever for a drink because there are a couple cars idling in the drive-thru. I especially liked the latte they made me. It's Starbucks. I like Starbucks. Don't hate me! It's coffee and they have free wifi. I also earn lots of reward points because we buy it for brewing at home. This particular store is my usual stopping spot when I have to go south. The staff there is young, friendly and have been helpful in getting me started with going digital for cashing in my reward points. The coffee is the usual Starbucks coffee. I have come to depend on the consistency. The food items are OK. The breakfast sandwich is moderately healthy. All I can say is the Egg McMuffin has nothing to worry about. This particular store is very small, and can get crowded during busy commute times. I usually just get my treat to go, so the lack of indoor seating is not a huge minus. What bumps it up for me from an "OK just another Starbucks" 3 star rating is the staff. Over the last three years I have been stopping here, they have always been courteous, cheerful and friendly. The Staff is friendly and helpful, that is the 2 stars. The "social distancing" is ridiculous. People are scattered all over the store. No clue who is in line or waiting. They encoutage online ording, but do not fill the orders as they come out. If you change your mind, they cannot refund your money. The store and the app are separate according to one of the baristas. Either this location needs more staff, or better organizational skills. No interest on coming back to this location till the pandemic guidelines are no longer in effect. read more

I work near this Starbucks and come often for coffee and drinks during lunch. I wish yelp allowed me to give three and a half stars because that is what I would award this Starbucks. Usually they're pretty good and pretty quick but they are a little pricier than other locations because (I believe) it is in a nicer area of town, Galena. I have never had a problem with customer service but today my drink was a little sloppy. I asked for whipped cream and maybe got half of it with some on the side. Like I said, usually they're really pretty good but I'm awarding three stars because of price and lack of attention to detail. Additionally the drive thru is a little hard to get in to. Also I have noticed a huge difference on prices of sandwiches and flatbreads. A pretty penny! We were a particularly silly bunch and they handled our weird and delivered both a fantastic customer experience and delicious drinks & snacks. This SBUX is great! Nice location (close to my office) and they have a drive through. Inside is small but warm and inviting store. Mornings can be busy here since there is a school right up the street and teachers are in line getting their coffee (had one yell at me to get out of the drive through line because she was in a hurry but thats Galena High School not this sbux). It was really good, got to keep that girlie figure with the low calorie. Service - As you can tell I do not order coffees that much and they were paitent and help. I told them I wanted the low calorie version, no problem. Later as my computer was shutting down I looked and the pre-package coffee section looking for K-cups for my fiancé. I was promptly created by one of the employees who helped me look for the K-cups, after explained what they are. I normally find them at Target/WalMarts and grocery stores. I stopped by this Starbucks a couple days ago to get my free drink from my rewards. Upon entering I was greeted with a friendly hello and I was glad to see no line. The food selection was the same as any other Starbucks and I got my drink after a slightly longer wait that usual. I ordered a venti caramel frap with two shots of expresso and extra caramel drizzle. The taste was fine but as I was walking to my car the drink ended up turning into a latte. There wasn't a lot of ice and I'm sure it didn't melt in the cold Reno weather.
