I had a heck of a time trying to find this location since what SHOULD be a strip mall ISN'T a strip mall, and everything's a bunch of loose buildings and spread out with no rhyme or reason. So once you DO find this Starbucks, you'll be treated to pleasant staff and a great coffee selection (the new Clover Vertica brewers help). This New store is Incredibly busy and understaffed. People were waiting over 30 minutes for orders. I've honestly never seen so many people standing around waiting in a Starbucks, today was 8am and last week it was 1pm, similar backed up orders. This morning more than 20 orders in the cue, door dashers were lined up while food sat on the counter waiting and getting cold, no one bagging them up. They don't call out names loudly and the names don't transfer to the pick up board quickly. Drive thru also super backed up and some people backed out . I understand the store is new and could be understaffed but that shouldn't mean the staff thats being hired is incompetent. I have stuck to saying nothing the past few orders i've had... I have gone through the drive through and online multiple times with this starbucks, usually through the window takes a while but it's understandable... every-time I choose to order online my order is extremely low priority, if I choose to have extra things in my drink, nothing is included, my food is always shoved in the bag and crumpled... There clearly needs to be a better system implemented with this starbucks so they are working more efficiently but also don't hire lazy people who just want the benefit of money.. We rarely drop by this Starbucks location but since we were in the neighborhood and in dire need of something quick and warm to consume so we can continue to brave the cold while running errands, coffee seemed to be a logical choice. When we entered the shoppe, the crowd inside was fairly light: a couple of guys playing chess, a lady waiting for her order, another guy sitting alone at a nearby table and the couple ahead of our 3-person party placing their order, so the wait was very minimal. When we finally got up to the cashier, there was a pleasant young man manning the register and he was cordial enough. We received our two coffees and one hot cocoa orders in a timely manner and I also purchased this cute "Nevada" cup ornament. Overall, our experience at this Starbucks was pretty positive. read more

This location doesn't have a drive thru but decided to stop by before heading on the road. Our order was taken quickly but it was only two people working. It did take a while for our food but the lady serving our drinks was really nice. The location was clean. I ordered a chai tea latte with cold foam and passion fruit refresher was good. It's early in the morning and you want something less than fast food for your athlete as well as some brew to wake up before starting an athletic tourney in the nearby convention center....where do you go? The WORST customer service! These girls IGNORED a line that piled up to 6 people - no greeting. No "I'll be right with you." My son and I waited at the register, first in line. Then another customer came in and stood at the other register. I had to tell him we were in line. Not my job, and awkward because the guy was mad. Still they ignored us! They kept filling up the mobile trays with pastries and coffees, which no one was there to receive. You need to decide as a location whether you want to stay open and actually serve live customers or just be a mobile order hut. Apparently you can't handle both. You need a person designated to serve walk ins. I have worked in a busy coffee shop with lines out the door and have sympathy for people who are busy, but turning your backs to us and intentionally ignoring us and not greeting people is inexcusable. Food and drink was good as usual. I went today to get some work done but couldn't due to one female employee with a high pitched, shrill voice. She was so unbelievably loud (I was at the door across the room by the front door) and needs to learn to read a room. This would definitely be a great teachable moment for management. If you can review the footage and audio I encourage you to do so. She talked, sang and screamed so loud the entire time I was in there. I shouldn't know so much about her but she talked the entire time to co workers and her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I'd love management to review the footage and see four of us who got mad and left. People were pissed. I'm not exaggerating one bit. Then, after being obnoxious for an hour, she sat at the table next to me with a guest and talked loudly, and used colorful profanity, for 5-10 of the most annoying minutes. When I say she was "over the top" I'm not kidding. One elderly gentleman left cussing because he said, "I'm not gonna get sh*t done in this fuc*ing place with her being this loud". A man trying to read a book looked at me and said, "is this a joke?" She was a 30 year old (approx. I heard her tell the guy at the table next to me "when I was 29") wearing a black and white bandana over her long brown hair, glasses and jeans. Avoid this Starbucks if you're in a hurry! I've had to leave behind items twice from mobile orders because of a disconnect between the speed of drink prep and bakery item prep. My drink was ready when I arrived, but 15+ min after my order had been placed my bakery items were still in the queue. Had this been a one time occurrence I would not be writing this review, but after a second visit ending with me forfeiting breakfast items I am feeling flustered enough to warn my fellow Yelpers. The baristas are all very friendly and the store is clean. They make all their drinks great. I was there around 8am on a Sunday, and the staff was loud in a nearly empty room. A few people went outside after giving one another looks with their eyes saying, "they're loud, let's go inside." I just wanted to scarf down my food and coffee fast before bowling a tournament at National Bowling Stadium. I usually love Starbucks. The locations by my house are always organized. But this location is a mess. My mom ordered two drinks for us. I went in to grab them and was standing by the pick up station for about 10 minutes before the barista asked me what I needed. I told her that I had a mobile order. She said okay, checked the machine that dispenses the tickets, and then worked on a bunch of different orders without another mention to my order. My mom came in to see what was going on. The other barista gave us a lame excuse that the order hadn't popped up in their system (IN 20 MINUTES!!) and finally refunded our order. I get that they're busy, but that is not an excuse for floundering around and not really trying to resolve the issue. I'm not impressed with this location. Just to clarify, it's just this location. This is my favorite Starbucks out of all the Reno locations. Besides being the closest, it's also open the latest. It used to be open all night then got changed to 11pm, not bad considering most Starbucks locations around are only open until 7,8, or 9pm. The baristas are friendly too! Employees don't understand the concept of order ahead with mobile app, and too lazy to bring the already drinks to the pickup station. This place is filthy. The food in the windows looks like it hasn't been changed in days. The people working are friendly but the floors are full of trash and the cabinets have grime caked on them. Best Starbucks customer service we've ever received! The food and drinks were amazing and we felt welcomed while being there.

I stopped in here to get a Macchiato and to have a little time to myself to read. It was pretty busy inside and a new person was still in training. After waiting a few minutes and everyone behind me already gone another young woman noticed me waiting so she checked on the person making my drink, since he seemed to be having a little trouble she happily took the macchiato he was trying to make and dumped it and started over again showing him how it was done.
