***THIS LOCATION HAS A DRIVE THRU*** Of course they prioritize drive thrus over those who order in/mobile pickup likely due to them already knowing you've parked aka you have time or you are using their amenities such as the AC, electricity, etc. Recently, I have been more of a tea drinker so I have been sticking with the teas. Interestingly, their honey citrus mint tea with extra lemonade has a strange herbal taste compared to other locations. First cup of tea had bags burst instead but the barista was super kind to make a new drink with no fuss. VIBEZ: Lots of folks chit chatting. Lots of folks studying with their heads hidden behind their laptops. Nicely AC'd room. Very rad they trust folks enough who state they are going to bring their own cups via mobile pick up with their equipment. Equally rad they have green varsity cups! The locations in my hometown still only have white cups. Located in Downtown Redlands. Love the location. On Saturday 5/23/26 mid day a young girl working at Starbucks yelled at a customer to move to a different part of the store, & told them to stop talking with a curly haired young woman who just seemed customer friendly. I then saw the young "boss" take the curly haired young woman to the back. Then I saw the curly haired young woman leave, upset. I have been to this location many times. It was shocking to see an employee yell at a customer. I didn't hear what she said to the young lady but she was obviously working really hard, while still being nice to customers. I had such a great experience at the drive-thru. The person taking my order was very kind and patient with me. I was asking what was in the new Italian egg bites and they graciously explained everything and even though I didn't get it, they were just happy to serve and giving great smiles. Just like any downtown location there is a homeless problem here and if you happen to need to use the bathroom you will be brutalized by a bathroom light that goes ON and OFF ... OFF and ON every split second .... Harsh on the eyes to the point that you want to RUN and ESCAPE the bathroom as quickly as possible ! read more

My friend and I stopped in here for some coffee prior to running the Run Through Redlands Half Marathon. It was only a few blocks north of the starting line. While I stuck to ordering my drink on the mobile app, my friend opted to do it the old fashion way and ordered up at the counter. He received his order first, so they might be prioritizing walk up orders ahead of mobile orders that early in the morning. I had my go-to drink as of late, a grande pistachio latte. It was on par with what I had been accustomed to at any Starbucks. We used their restroom before heading over to the race. You'll need to ask an employee for the code to open the door. This is one of the newest Starbucks in town, just west of the new 4 story parking structure. Okay - it's a Starbucks - same drinks, same food, same décor. The staff was cordial, quick and efficient. The line for the drive-through ordering was quite long today, almost to the street. And the handful of times I've been here, there has always been a line. (BTW, the car line starts on the left-hand side of the parking lot.) I had the Blond coffee, milder, yet still full of rich flavor. The blueberry scone was somewhat dry, but I expected that from a lower calorie scone (Also ask for your scone to be heated, it becomes a good treat). Cute little drive thru location. It has that downtown charm. Service was excellent and the line moved at a steady pace. This drive through is wrapped around the condensed parking lot. Plenty of space for the line to grow. Though I do see cars lining the street at times. Coffee selection was on point to keep my energy up for the evening. read more

This is actually one of my favorite Starbucks! Located in downtown Redlands, adjacent to the train station and right across from The Packinghouse district. The location replaces the original Starbucks that was down the street on Orange; and features a very convenient drive-thru. A couple things I appreciate about this spot. First, the music is at just the right level. Sometimes the music at other locations is TURNED ALL THE WAY UP TO PATENT PENDING!! You can barely hear yourself think! But here it's at just the right level so as to be pleasant in the background. Secondly, the staff here is always friendly and helpful, and so far have always got my order right...and are always willing to recommend interesting concoctions. I only have a couple complaints...both of which I'm not sure are something they can address. First is the parking lot. The entrance wasn't designed well. You have to veer immediately left for the drive thru entrance or right for the parking lot. And exiting the parking lot is iffy due to the drive-thru entrance. Second is their free Wi-Fi is adequate, but a bit on the anemic side when it comes to speed. I posted an Ookla speed test example. It could use a bit of a boost. I'd deduct half a star for both these if I could, but Yelp doesn't allow it.. My fave barrista is has to be Lauren. She's awesome and gets my corny Super Troopers references. If you see her, tell her "right meow". Pro-tip. There is a parking structure like 50 yards away with electric vehicle charging spots on the ground floor. It's very handy to park there, plug in your EV/PHEV and charge while sitting and enjoying a yummy breakfast or lunch here.,,you can usually find me here on Thursdays. Say hi if you see me! read more

This is a quaint Starbucks. Probably my favorite by far. Everything you come to love about a Starbucks is made here. The Starbucks drive-thru makes it simple to get what you want and leave. What makes it so nice is that it's extra long, so can accommodate many patrons. There's No fuss with in & out cars of a lot, or a confusing line that you should be in. This drive-thru has cemented sides that allows for you to stay in que, while allowing for organization of the lineup of cars that may be in line. It's perfect! Although quite stark on the inside due to COVID...the architecture is cool and the people were fabulous! They have an extra long drive-thru which is smart. What is the point of mobile pick up if the front door is always locked in the morning? This CONSTANTLY happens. Then you're forced to sit in a drive thru line that's not moving. My order was ready at 5:09, doors were locked and now it's 5:19 and I'm sitting behind two vehicles in the drive thru hoping my food isn't cold. This location seriously needs to be shut down with how horrible the parking lot is as well. Who thought it was a good idea to put a Starbucks In such a small lot? It's honestly and hit or miss with this Starbucks. I understand that the employees are working their hardest. And their baristas have always been respectful, but there have been several occasions you're in their drive thru for sometimes 30 plus minutes, or you receive your order slightly off from the the order you submitted. Short staffed means longer wait times--I understand that. When I get that's off, I usually throw it away because I don't like the confrontation, but today I I decided to go in and ask for a remake. Instead of a simply apology for getting your order wrong, I got an explanation of why I received the drink in the manner I did (the cup was a sticky mess which indicates to me that they had spilled it), no ice whatsoever (we're in a heat wave, light ice doesn't mean no ice). To add insult to injury, as I'm standing here waiting for the remake, it's been well over 10 min, and there was no new drink made. I had to ask again, and the other barista didn't realize there was a new order made. Just bad. Hence the three star rating. She was really sweet and made the drink for me. I try to be fair in my expectations, but really? I even asked for a smaller size because I feel it's fair. I'm not looking for a handout--I just want a drink that tastes descent and doesn't leave my hands sticky after I pick up the cup. Not to mention the fact the drink itself isn't off in some way, like the one I received. read more

This is one of the nicest Starbucks located in the Redlands (and Loma Linda) area. I have only been in the drive-thru and never inside - but my order quality has been consistent every time. Really good customer service too! I like that it's right next to the Tesla supercharger station. I subtracted one star because the drive-thru/parking lot situation is tricky when it's busy. They may start running into the "Redlands chik-fil-a" issue in the future where cars spilled into the main Street. read more

This review is specifically for the Starbucks in the Citrus Plaza. I went here in September 14 in the morning. I did a mobile order. I was the one who made the mistake in my order and the barista took the responsibility for it. I was so amazed. Even after I told her what I did wrong on the app and I was happy to take the drink, she really wanted me to get what I wanted so she remade it like it was her fault. I ordered 3 food items and 1 drink. Usually I'm immediately told to wait while they check if the items are in stock, she didn't, so I assumed the barista knew they were. When I got to the window I got my drink and then waited 5 minutes for the first food item. Another five had gone by before someone came to the window to tell me the other item was out of stock. No biggie, I selected another one. They then waited a few more minutes to come back and tell me that the third item was ALSO out of stock. I also tried reloading my card with $20 cash and was told that I couldn't bc I didn't tell her before ordering. My sister works at Starbucks and I've been reloading my gold card for 5+ years, so I knew that wasn't true. However, there's never a point in arguing over coffee lol. I said okay and paid cash. However, I would've appreciated if the worker just took 2 minutes to go ask someone for help or clarification, since she looked confused. Not to mention, a sorry or apologetic attitude from the barista really would've avoided this entire review. I understand not wanting to be at work, I understand mistakes and mishaps happen at work (and these were small ones), but don't get an attitude with the customer after your mistakes. read more
