It was my birthday, so I wanted to treat myself to a free drink. It had been a while since I had visited Starbucks, and I was excited to use my birthday reward. When I arrived at the Redlands location, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai immediately caught my eye. When I was ready to order at the drive-thru, I had a few questions about the drink, and the barista was more than willing to help. She mentioned that the drink was very popular, and after hearing that, I was sold. I went ahead and ordered a Venti Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and used my free birthday drink reward. The Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai comes with black tea chai concentrate blended with milk and ice, topped with sweet pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice topping. When I took my drink home and finally tried it, I was really impressed with the flavor. I personally loved the taste of the pumpkin cream. The drink had plenty of flavor, and everything meshed together really well without any one flavor overpowering the others. Overall, I had a great experience at Starbucks. The customer service I received was excellent, and I'm glad I made the right choice with my order. In my personal opinion, I would definitely recommend the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai from Starbucks. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other flavors! read more

What a great old timey sign! That was the attraction and it is the modern and expected drinks and service that shined. Indoor seating on the chilly and drizzly rain day was nice on my road trip pit stop. Good location and a small parking lot but plenty easy to get in and out. Good for a quick stop along the day. read more

Carlos is a liar and blatantly wouldn't serve me a grilled cheese with avocado spread because they were "sold out" I know that's a damn lie and I know they just clean the oven so they didn't wanna put anything else in it. Shame on you Carlos you should be ashamed. I will be taking this up with corporate as well as I am suspicious that my coffee had a weird liquid floating in it potentially bodily fluid no ambience whatsoever shame on you Carlos shame on you Starbucks read more

I love Starbucks. The people are kind, the atmosphere is upbeat, and the drinks, delish! This one inside Citrus Plaza is in a neat location with a great outdoor patio. I'm excited to see what the new CEO does to bring back comfy chairs and couches. Hungry? Thirsty? Stop on in! read more

I don't often buy into the hype around chain coffee shops, but this Starbucks in Yucca Valley kept me begrudgingly coming back--and not just because it's one of the few reliable caffeine stops out here: we have plenty of those. Location & Parking Conveniently situated right off Highway 62, it's easy to reach although you will likely have to hike a bit at peak times. That said, this locale, compared to other local coffee options, is as good as any for accessibility if you don't mind the walk. Coffee & Menu Nothing revolutionary, but they nail the classics. A bold decaf Americano with the right amount of temp hits the mark every time. I leave the foo-foo drinks to my kids, though they are fond of the refreshers. Food-wise, the egg bites are solid and filling, and their protein boxes make for a smart snack on a long desert drive. Service & Atmosphere Staff know their names and orders--which, in a mid-sized store like this, says a lot. They're friendly, chatty without overdoing it, and genuinely seem interested in dialing in the customer experience. The store hits commuter convenience but I wouldn't ever hang out hear for a conversation with friends unless I sit outside. Considering our 100+ degree summers, I'm not likely to do that soon. Conclusion: If you're looking for consistent coffee, friendly service, and a space that feels can get you back on the road, this Starbucks in Yucca Valley stands out. If you're looking for more atmosphere than just caffeine, there are other choices. read more

While I normally go through the drive-thru, today I went into the store. The girl cashier that helped me was pretty rude. I ordered one thing, an iced chai tea latte with pumpkin cold foam (my go to during the Fall months), but she accidentally put it in as a cold brew with pumpkin foam. I do not like coffee very much, so I asked if she put in the chai tea. I wanted to be clear that it was a chai tea I wanted. She said "oh I put a cold brew." And so I said, "oh yeah, it's a chai tea that I wanted, thank you." I thought all was well. I asked if there was a bathroom code and she looked at me like I was stupid and then looked at the door. I haven't been there so how was I supposed to know? Then when they call my name, the drink they handed me was the cold brew with pumpkin foam. Now, if this was a drink that I would actually enjoy, I would've sucked it up and let it be, but I really don't like it at all, so I spoke up and said "hey, this doesn't look like a chai tea latte, is this the right order?" Because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it was someone else's order. The girl who took my order comes over and says to the guy (as if I'm not there) "what is she saying now?" And he said "it was supposed to be a chai." And the girl said "no she said she wanted a cold brew" and gave me a dirty look, as if I was stupid. Even though I thought I made it pretty clear I wanted the chai tea latte. I TOTALLY understand mistakes happen, there's sometimes miscommunication or wrong orders. I get that, and I don't fault anyone for that. However, treating me like I'm stupid and giving me dirty looks was very uncalled for. She couldn't admit she may have made a mistake and instead argued and tried to make me look bad. That's just not right. When I worked in food service, I always did my best to be kind and respectful to customers, and as such, I try to be respectful to food service employees. I am very disappointed in the way she acted towards me and will probably be avoiding this location in the future. Very sad as it is the closest one to me. I will say, my chai tea latte, once I actually got it, was tasty as always. Thanks to the guy who made it in like 10sec and didn't treat me like I was stupid. read more

Long wait time despite huge staff. With 2 people in front of me I waited 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. So loud because of the interior design and Lou dish music you can barely hear your name called. Barely any parking. One of the more consistent Starbucks locations. Drive thru goes pretty quick which is nice when a hurry. I have also had them not charge for drinks when wait was too long- only happened once but was still a nice gesture because the wait was too long. Just make sure to double check your order because as the drive thru gets busy, they can sometimes forget items. read more

This location was fine, but not great. It wasn't particularly clean and the staff wasn't very friendly. The coffee was exactly what you can expect from any Starbucks location. I'm from Redlands and apart from Olive Avenue Market, this is becoming my favorite, go-to coffee shop. The staff is always so friendly and energetic. It's a somewhat good place to study, minus the music often being blasted, way too loudly, which undoubtedly makes it hard to concentrate. Another issue is that I've come here a handful of times and out of those 5 times, I've placed a mobile order twice: what's my complaint? Well, both times my order has been seemingly "lost," or sitting near the drive-thru window instead, causing me to have to go up to the barista and ask where my purchased items are. It can be a bit of an inconvenience given that the whole point of ordering ahead is to get ahead, precisely, and to beat the crowd; I would recommend just standing in line and ordering that way to ensure that you receive your drinks/snacks in a decent timeframe. read more

This place is quaint. Nestled in East Redlands, you'll find friendly staff and a quick moving drive-thru. This place is small and was renovated to accommodate a Starbucks. A blast from the past, I believe this place once was an old coffeeshop back in the day. Now, a corporate conglomerate, you'll find great tasting coffee here along with cool architecture of the building. I don't come here often, but when I do, you'll find me in the drive-thru. It's fast, as it needs to be because the line can stretch into a neighborhood and block traffic. They're efficient and quick and serve with smiles and friendly attitudes. read more

ILL TELL YOU WHY THIS STARBUCKS HAS LOW RATINGS: If you're ordering to go, its at par with most other starbucks. If youre here to kill time, study, or hangout, this isnt it. First of all the internet is really slow, number of outlets are limited, and this seems to be a prime location for weirdos. Although you can't do much about the last one, adding outlets and increasing internet speeds is easily manageable. Not the Starbucks I normally go to but this one was on the way to where I was going. Went in the drive thru to place my order, the same order I get every day. Espresso with extra steamed whole milk. He asked if I wanted just a little bit of milk and I said no, extra please. He said he would have to charge for a latte I said no, I order this everyday and never have a problem. He said "well, they are doing it wrong then" so I told him even if I do it in the app it won't charge for the latte so not sure why he was trying to charge more. So I said I could do it on the app and make a mobile order then and he said "ok". When I got to the window they made me park to the side to bring it to me. Cindy came out to my car, gave me my coffee and then proceeded to tell my that all the employees had heard the interaction over the intercom and that my negativity and rudeness wasn't accepted at this Starbucks and that I'm no longer welcome back. Mind you I never raised my voice or was disrespectful all I was saying was that I have never had a problem with my order except for right now. Anyways I wouldn't go back to that Starbucks even if I could, the employees were not friendly at all. I would much rather drive a little farther and go to the one I usually go to, the employees there are amazing! read more
