We were told their long-standing chef of 30+ yrs either resigned(?) or didn't want to work here(?) and based on what my coworker told me- that she noticed a difference in the cooking not too long ago when she came here. If you're from the Caribbean or know a true mango taste, you know exactly what I mean. And don't even get me started on the cocktails- they tasted more like juice than actual drinks. At the end of the night, we realized we weren't imagining things. A $245 dinner with weak cocktails, overly salty food and disappointing desserts was no balance for a restaurant with such a long-standing history. For that reason... we out.
