    strawberry Oreo chocolate milk tea
    Darren G.

finally came by here to try, shame it's kind of hidden away in the commons here. Took me a while to decide since yeah, they have a regular menu, but I wanted to try their specialty limited time menu item and the menu that on the wall is a TV that goes fast though them, but I was not rushed. so, after deciding I settled on a chocolate Oreo strawberry milk tea from the strawberry limited series. I unlike the other reviews found the service was alright, I was asked how I wanted the sugar level and how much ice as well, plus if wanted the boba pearls, which I declined. so, no issues and yeah teens working are usually indifferent, but they did their job. The drink was amazing, like a dressed-up chocolate milk with Oreos and strawberry flavors, am personally favor more of juice teas, so this was so good to make me consider trying the milk teas now.

Great service. A large variety of boba . The perfect mid day pick me up. The next time I am in this city I will definitely be back for more

Very excited to discover that there's a Gong Cha at Woodbury Commons! There aren't any good boba shops within miles of this town, so this is definitely a nice addition to the neighborhood. This Gong Cha is rather new and clean, but is a bit small with no seating. For those who want to swing by to pick up a drink, it is conveniently located next to a small parking lot, with several curbside pickup spots. The service here is very friendly and efficient. I ordered the lychee oolong tea, a passion fruit slush, and a earl grey milk tea with the 3 J's (pearls, pudding and jelly). All of the drinks were good. Definitely a bit pricey for upstate NY, but I will be back.

Nice spot if you want boba during your shopping trip! Gave 4 stars because they don't take loyalty points here. The matcha latte is great!

One of the best bubble tea ever!! I'm always EXCITED for Gong Cha. Glad that they have it at the mall. I enjoyed dirty brown sugar lately. Worth it!!!

This place has the best boba tea. I appreciate that you can choose your sweetness and they use plant base milk.

Have always loved Gong Cha, I'm so glad they opened one in Woodbury. It's just as good as the other Gong Cha locations.

It's been a few years since I've visited Woodbury Commons, and my last pre-pandemic visit had no bubble tea franchise in sight.

The combination of ube and matcha is unbelievably creamy, smooth, and rich without being overly sweet. The ube has that perfect nutty vanilla-like flavor with a deep, authentic taste, while the matcha is earthy, bold, and balanced beautifully. Swirling the two together makes every bite even better. What really stands out is the texture it was light, fluffy, and silky soft serve that melts perfectly. The flavors taste fresh and premium, not artificial at all. The presentation is also gorgeous, making it almost too pretty to eat. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staffs make the experience even better. They also serve bubble milk teas, Dubai chocolate cup and more!! They even have a pretty mirror to take picture with

Not really sure why it took that long, but it was definitely frustrating just standing there. We eventually ordered four cones (ube and matcha)...and giving credit where it's due, the ice cream itself is still very good. It's creamy, flavorful, and consistent with what we had on a previous visit. That said, the portions felt off this time. The cones didn't seem as full, and what really stood out was that each one had a noticeable hollow center -- almost like the middle was missing. Sign. For $9 a cone, that just shouldn't happen. Last time I was here, it felt like a 5-star spot. This visit? Not there at all. Still good ice cream, but between the wait and the portion issues, it didn't live up to the price.

They ask "white rice or fried rice?". They don't mention there's a surcharge for the fried rice - see receipt photo. They'll ask if you want the Egg roll? Again, they don't say there's a charge. It seems it's more à la cart. You're eating out off a plastic clam shell, with flimsy disposable plastic utensils wrapped in cellophane, you have to find someplace to sit down and eat it. The bill came to $42.56!!! I've spent less at a real restaurant and gotten better quality food and service. The chicken teriyaki looks like they threw the meat through a moving fan. All different sized pieces, some of them not even cut separately from each other. The shrimp in the bento box was cooked to the point, where it looked like a curlicue. I don't expect a Kaiseki repast, but even the simplest Japanese meal is plated with finesse. In a nutshell, it's someplace NOT even worth writing home. spend your money someplace else.

We got the bento box: chicken was rubbery, sushi was more like rice with some stuffing, and unfresh fried veggies.
